Jesus was a teenager when his father sold him to the Muerte Viviente gang. Jesus was forced to fight in their ring and run petty crimes with other kids for the gang's pleasure and gambling purposes. He had wanted Valentina, the daughter of the leader of the gang, from the first moment he laid eyes on her. When Jesus was older he and Valentina lost their virginities together. After being together for a few weeks, Jesus was offered a chance at a better life by becoming a member of the Rogue Rebels MC and he wanted Valentina to come with him. Valentina felt like that would be betraying her father, so instead she told Jesus to go and she ended up running away. Valentina's been gone for ten years and her father contacts her to tell her he is sick. She decides to go home to see him, but things have changed. Jesus now goes by the name King and he has never forgotten Valentina. With her father being sick someone new is in charge of the gang and Valentina is not safe. Read this book to find out what happens when Valentina goes home, is she safe or will this be a huge mistake? Also find out what King does when he finds out Valentina is back. This is a great story with excellent characters and truly a must read.

MC Romance, violence, gangs

This is my first book by this author, and although it has an interesting plot, it’s gritty, violent and suspenseful.

Jesus grew up part of the Muerte Viviente gang where he was forced into a criminal life of petty theft and illegal child fighting rings, for years, surrounded by violence and gangster mentality. But the daughter of the man who headed Muerte Viviente was the love of his life, Valentina. The best thing that ever happened to Jesus was when he left that life and been given a spot in Rogue Rebel MC.

When Valentina left her past behind for a better chance at life, she also left Jesus behind. She never thought she’d see Jesus again. Only hearing word of her father’s illness brings her back home, but things go awry when she steps foot at the airport.

Fast pacing, lots of action and violence, and Jesus and Valentin have a bittersweet reunion. He’s never going to let her go this time, and he’ll do anything in his power to protect her. The book has a raw look at gangs and the violence surrounding the underbelly of its organization. I wished there was more “feels” with Jesus and Valentina. I’m just on the fence about this book, just not for me.

Excellent contemporary motorcycle club romance. Needless to say since this book deals with motorcycle clubs you're aware that it contains some drama, intrigue and suspense. This is also a second chance romance with a HEA. King and his motorcycle club want to take down another club that is into stealing boys and making them engage in bloody, violent fights often to the death. We learn the background of the two main characters King (Jesus) and Valentina. Valentina comes back to the home she ran from a decade ago. She's conflicted yet wants to make peace with her father. This is where the characters teenage love is brought into the story. They are shocked to see and recognize one another after ten year gap. The author does a good job balancing today's actions based on their actions in the past. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

This is a fast paced quick read MC book.
Jesus, aka Jesus, is a member of the Rogue Rebels but before he join this group his father sold him to Muerte Viviente the gang Valentina's father headed.
Jesus and Valentina fall in love but circumstances cause them to go their separate ways, however they never forgot each other or their connection.
Fast forward Valentina comes back because her father is ill and she is kidnapped by the Muerte Viviente. The Rogue Rebels decide to stop a fighting ring and King finds Valentina.
The story is about how these two get back together. There is violence in this story and lots of hot secy scenes. I'm sometimes surprised by how little the women in the MC stories are fazed by the violence directed toward them.
I was given this book and am leaving an honest voluntary review.

I read this book as part of an arc program. I really enjoyed this second chance romance between Jesus (King) and Valentina. When they were teenagers, Jesus and Valentina were in love but it was forbidden because her father was the leader of the gang and Jesus used to fight in illegal fights to earn money for the club. Valentina ran away and started a new life until she receives a letter from her father saying he is ill and wants to see her before he dies. Valentina returns, only to be kidnapped. King is now part of the Rogue Rebels MC and when he learns of underground fights, he and his brothers of the MC go to break it up and rescue the boys. Only when he gets there he sees Valentina, the woman he could never forget. This was a good story and it had love and danger. It also had some steamy scenes between King and Valentina, good one.

This was a fast paced motorcyle romance that's full of action and danger. King/Jesus was sold to the Muerte Viviente gang as a teenager. Valentina was the daughter of the gang and he had been in love with her forever. They end up parting ways when he joins another group. She runs away and only returns home after ten years to see her sick father. She is kidnapped and Jesus sees her and knows he must save her. This is a good second chance romance as their love never faded. I received and advance copy and voluntarily chose to review this book

Well written second chance story about Jesus and Valentina. They have both had a past and present that are not the one the wished for. They struggle to get through it. When they meet again sparks fly but can they make it work.
A very fast paced story. There is drama, action, violence, passion, hot chemistry, steamy scenes and emotional ups and downs. All these things makes the story worth reading. I would have liked that the main characters where described with more feelings and that the story not was about that much violence.

This was a nice second chance romance. with a few twist that I really did enjoy. It follows a young man who was sold into a child fighting ring by his nasty piece of crap of a father. who then falls in love with the girl in all honesty he should have never touched. He then got out of the child fighting ring to join a MC. To only find his way back to the girl he has always loved! How sweet. this is a quick read but still good

Mediocre
This book was just OK. I didn't really like it any better than Commando. I did like how it centered around Jesus and his religion. You don't usually think about "Bad Boys" being spiritual. A major flaw in her story was if Valentina had just been kidnapped and was still in danger, why was she left alone? I read an ARC. This is my honest review.

IThis was a lovely second chance love story, I loved King in Commando's story, and his and Valentina's didn't disappoint, loved it, especially the ending 😊 Really enjoy when the characters from the other books come into it too.
