Knygoje „Teaching Sociology Successfully“ aptariamos gairės, kaip galima būtų mokyti sociologijos sėkmingiau, našiau, aiškiau. Pristatomos ir aptariamos
-sociologinės pedagogikos kryptys (pvz., ką reiškia mokyti sociologijos iš funkcionalistinės, marksistinės ar postmodernistinės perspektyvų);
-praktinės strategijos sociologinių įgūdžių vystymui (atradau Sokratinę prieigą, tiksliau, supratau, kad ją visada ir taikydavau :D);
-būdai, kaip našiau mokyti sociologinių konceptų, teorijų ir tyrimo metodų;
-siūlomi pamokų planai ir kt.
Negalėčiau pasakyti, kad knyga su kaupu patenkino visus mano lūkesčius, tačiau neabejotinai rekomenduočiau ją visiems norintiems geriau išmokti mokyti sociologijos ;)
