'Tharki'. Name itself suggests the idea of the plot. Story of love and betrayal with comic scenes & desi 'Tapori' language in between. One can read it if want to read something masala type that can be completed in one go.

Though, title is so appealing, it has nothing to do with the story as the protagonist of the story remained faithful throughout.

Yes, Tharki is one of a few amazing Indian novels I read and loved in last a few years.

The language is simple, the incidents are lively, and the characters are common. And that's the reason any guy out here can surely relate his life with the story.

So, This Tharki (as Tharki means faithful in the story) is one who lives or at least lived in almost all of us.

A must read for all the men out here especially for those who had loved someone wholeheartedly and got betrayed (fucked) for the same reason.

Amazing and witty too.
Just about the Book, Tharki is the best example of today's life, we are getting cheated or cheating our partners without having any concern about the other person.
Tara betrayed Kunal twice and yet he showed up as a real hero, standing by her side helping her all the way.
The way all have confusion about their x-partners, he showed the mercy.
In short, this book is too good to give a try...

If you are romance lover, you should read this one, it will open the window of truth which we find closed all the time in relationship.

Just loved this book, it is my view and pardon if there is any mistakes.

I have finished the book 'Tharki' just now and I must say it's worth read... Worth every penny.
I have came across many love stories but this one is different and unique. Story is intriguing and gripping. Hindi dialogues inside the book are very interesting and leave a smile on my face. Overall it's a must read masterpiece by Kunal Marathe. Waiting for next part of Tharki.

Love has a mysterious way to guide life & things revolving it. The fact that it incorporates the deepest of hidden desires among-st all creatures is what fascinates people.
The intrinsic thought of true love is what deepens the desire to cherish it & acknowledge the very innermost desires to fall
& commit the same mistakes repeatedly.
For some the true love or just the concept of love may seem real, while on the other hand they're also deluded with the mere fact that everything is illusion.
Keeping this fact in mind, the book has been meticulously written & also strives to connect with the readers instantly, though written in a very bold & skeptical manner.
However, many a times life plans thing differently, often it has something in store for us, the ravenous attempt to fall for the very person whom we know is not apt
for us, yet the foolish attempt to cherish it what captivates the weak minds.
The journey is set for a decent boy who cares nothing in this world with his fragile mind who has fallen in deep love with his classmate, a true lover who wishes to
have his dream girl. However, destiny has something else planned for him, which forces him to forget his tenderness & transforming into a vicious person.
The cover is well designed & has a smooth touch.
The title is apt & is justified accordingly.
Story is simple, yet bold which brings out various harsh things about society & its dark side.
Language is simple, with a blend of 'tapori hindi' adding spice to the story, though it could have been better.
Narration is smooth & well-paced.
Loved the book, waiting for the sequel!

Note: I purchased this book after having read the sample chapters distributed by the author to interested readers and found them mildly interesting. And I swear to be completely honest (blunt, if required) in my review for this book.

Review:

THARKI – in the game of love you either play or get played, written by Kunal Marathe and published by Legendary Books India is—may be categorized as romance fiction. Now, coming to the story.

Frankly, I expected—on reading the hook-line on the cover—something novel when my copy arrived, and because I had read the sample chapters ahead of the arrival, I just quickly went through them once again to recollect whatever I had read and once I was done, I expected a different approach than what I usually read in books of this genre.

It's worth reading. Loved this book. Its a different kind of love story or u can say it a different kind of book that I have ever read.

Cover and Title :-
The cover is attractive. There are two girls and one boy on the cover along with the tagline " In the game  of love you either play or get played". It resembles the story of the book.

The title attracts the reader as the title is unique i.e "Tharki" but don't judge a book by its cover or title. You will love the book when you start reading it.

Characters :-
All the characters are beautifully scripted. There is Kunal his school friend Hari, Mahesh, Alia and few others which play an important role in the book. I love hari and mahesh for being such an amazing friend of kunal specially mahesh and also kamna.

Plot :-
It is a story which defines love, betrayal and friendship. It has a beautiful tagline. It has funny dialogues and emotional content in it.

Narration :-
The story is beautifully narrated by the author. It engages the reader fully. Simple language is used which can be understood by everyone.

The story is narrated by the author himself who is the main character of the book. I love the friendship between Kunal and Mahesh and Kunal and Hari. There are very few people like Mahesh and hari. I hate Tara for what she did with Kunal well can't say  much about Alia. The story has suspense it with unexpected twists. I felt the pain of kunal what he was going through. I love the hindhi punch lines they bring smile to your face. The story is reliable and I am eagerly waiting for the next book in the series. Loved it.
