Vampires and dragons!!!! My very favorites!! A Vampires Thirst was awesome,I loved victor and kimbers love story. It was everything I love in a paranormal romance we had the bad guys who were werewolves,a elf and some bad vamps too! We had hot vampire body guards like flint and a fae named nellie who has been around for along time.And we had some hot sex too!! Vampires and dragons have some great chemistry. And a great storyline with interesting characters and the happily ever after! Can't wait for the next book in this series! 5 fang stars!

No no no.
I don't get it this book felt like there was no story i went from point A to B effortlessly, there was no build up, no chemistry between characters and no real plot.
Also The female MC is meant to be a dragon shifter...All she ever does is cry... shes about as brave as a teapot.
So Victor is an old vamp... and one of the most powerful (although no idea what he can actually do other go places with vamp speed and jump from high buildings.)
One day while really hungry he smells something in the park.... jumps from his balcony skyscraper and tries to find its host for a matter of minutes before giving up and going for a drink all the while complaining he needs to find the person with the scent or he will end up killing everyone.
The hunt resumes after Victor has a swim while his bodyguard has a nap.
Finding the Kimber the Dragon being chased by wolves he saves her finally getting her home where apparently all members of his staff hang out.
they have lots of sex, confess undying love, get engaged
a fea comes to kidnap Kimber but his housekeeper blasts her before she gets the chance.
The end.

I blame some of the missing stars on me
I read an incredible Vampire book by another author before picking this one up, so the shortcomings were probably more notable. I skipped a lot, because I got bored, it's as simple as that. There was no witty dialogue, no engaging plot line. Victor was a very odd character, incredibly rude and almost mean to his best friend, yet almost too soft with Kimber. I know of other authors who can pull off a super tough Alpha male, and still make him soft in an Alpha way. That didn't happen here. Oh and man, some of the expressions just didn't fit at all. Whippersnapper, smithereens - but then the author would throw something like envisaged. You can't have a.character use them all together, I mean come on !! If it was a personal character thing, like they always used those colorful words, then fine, that would work. But they aren’t. It’s just odd.
Then there’s the repetitiveness. One person says ABC, someone says “what, so another person says ABC. Why is this necessary ? Is it a word count thing ? It’s not like one is a better explanation of the other. Ugh.
Pretty sure I won't be reading the rest of the series.

Wow!!! What a tasty treat for lovers of vampire romance and another perfect example of why I love, love, love A.K. Michaels! Have you ever heard the expression 'In like a lion - Out like a lamb'? Well, forget that! Michaels blasts out of the starting gate and holds the hammer down - all the way to the finish line! OMG! This book literally explodes with danger, drama, action, adventure, angst, passion, and romance from beginning to end! Once I started reading, I could not stop! I was glued to my chair, white knuckling my ereader, my heart fluttering wildly in my chest while the pages flew as quickly as the time! It was fabulous, and I loved every single minute! It's no secret I'm a diehard Michaels fan and love her sexy, sultry prose, but this story surprised even me. I was completely enthralled from the first page till the last! Can you tell I really loved this book? lol... Now, let me tell you why!
Victor is the first release in A Vampire's Thirst, an inspired new brainchild from the incredibly imaginative mind of A.K. Michaels, much like Michael's A Wolf's Hunger, but this collection features vampires rather than wolves. Other authors will be releasing stories in A Vampire's Thirst, but Michaels kicked off the series with Victor, and man, what a beginning it was! The story was beautifully written in the third person with multiple perspectives, which brings me to another reason I enjoy Michaels work. She gives a voice to all the major players in her stories and I love knowing what's going on in the minds of the characters in a book, but I want it done in an organized, clearly discernible fashion and Michaels does exactly that, generally distinguishable by chapters. The dialogue is smart, snappy, sometimes funny, always well-executed, and flows effortlessly. There's just so much I love about Michael's writing but my favorite component is always the large cast of intriguing and engaging characters. They literally explode from the page, grab your imagination, and capture your heart! I was instantly smitten with wealthy, ancient vampire Victor Strong and lovely, strong-willed dragon shifter Kimber. Victor and Kimber complement each other perfectly. When these two meet, their attraction is immediate, their interaction captivating, their passion explosive, and their fate undeniable! *swoon* I've been a fan of vampire fiction for many years starting in high school when I read Dracula by Bram Stoker. I was enthralled by Barnabas Collins in the Dark Shadows television soap opera in the sixties (yeah, I'm an old bird), and totally swooned over Tom Cruise as Lestat in the movie depiction of Interview Of A Vampire by Anne Rice. Then, about five years ago, I fell in love with vampire Josef from The Witch, The Wolf, and The Vampire by A.K. Michaels and he became my favorite vampire of all time - until now! I think Victor Strong just knocked Josef out of first place! Oh my! Victor Strong is handsome, domineering, and very wealthy. He's also one of the most ancient vampires in existence, and with that age comes great power, a power that must be controlled. Victor has maintained tight control and successfully reined in his urges. He hasn't drunk blood from a human for two hundred years- until now. But for some inexplicable reason, Victor suddenly finds himself unable to control his actions, which is dangerous for everyone. It's unacceptable and will result in The Directive, the supernatural governing body, sending someone to correct the situation for him, which would most likely mean the termination of his very long life. Oh dear! And just when he thought it couldn't possibly get any worse, Victor is afflicted with 'The Thirst' and must find his blood mate, or go completely insane. Oh my! Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Like most reviewers, I base my rating primarily on how much I enjoy a story, and I enjoyed this story very much, but I also factor in originality, uniqueness, world building, plot and character development, cover, grammar, story pacing/flow, and overall craftsmanship. And this story satisfied all my criteria. Was it perfect? No, but it was perfect for me! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers. If you love great paranormal reads filled to the brim with danger, drama, action, adventure, angst, fantasy, engaging characters, steamy passion, sweet romance, and a heartwarming happy ending, then this book is screaming your name! Will I read this author again? Absolutely, just as soon as she releases her next book! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Oooooh I have a new vamp-crush!!!!
Victor is Strong by name and character! He may be an ancient vampire but he still wants a companion..the recent feeds from donors have done nothing to sate his appetite. When the most delectable aroma reaches him when he is asked for help by his doorman/friend, his thirst rises.
His faithful friend is worried about Victors unravelling control on his darker side. But when Victors damsel in distress is also a reminder of a friend from the past, he soon understands that she has some secrets of her own to hide.
Fabulous start to a new multi-author series. Victor could be too over-bearing I suppose for some but to me he was just the perfect balance. I loved the camaraderie he had with vampires and trusted humans alike. Now awaiting book 2!

What can I say this book will cause you to loose sleep so be warned if your starting it before bed.
It is jam packed full of hot sexy scenes. A few twists you don't see.. and what happens to the necklace the troll had that was in his pocket.. well I have to be honest that was on my mind as I read the story. Now, I am not telling ya but you need to read the story.
Nellie the housekeeper is a huge hit with me. Love her no nonsense way of thinking. Victor is hot hot .. and amazing as a round full male in this story no one sided part of him.
Over all this is a really good read that you will not regret purchasing at the retailer of your choice!!

First off these books are all stand alone, but they are all pieces of the series Thirst. Victor is a super strong vampire he prides himself on his self-control to not feed on humans. He also owns a ton of business where no one knows of his true nature, but his close hired help who are also supernatural except his PA. Then he smelled the most amazing scent and risk losing all his control and outing himself to the human world. The scent belongs to his blood mate Kimber, I don't want to give too much away, but their love story sucked me in I almost finished it in a day. It is exciting and twisted and let's just say there are a few surprises along the way.

I love it, the Vamps are the good guys, yeaaaaa!
Very old, maybe the oldest Vampire Victor Strong prided himself in his self control.....Being as old as he is he could rain destruction on all and that is what he feels like doing all of a sudden, his thirst for human blood is unquenchable and his lust is off the charts, he hasn't drunk off a human in ages and now it's all he can think of. Now he is told that it is the Thirst, he thought that was but a myth!! Victor never imagined that in his very ancient life he would meet the one made just for him...His Bloodmate. To top it all off she is one of the last of her kind a dragon, but it matters not, he must have her, or death and destruction will rain.
Read how Victor and Kimber must go against odds to keep their love intact.

Viktor Strong is a Vampire who is going through the Vampire Thirst. He thinks he's going crazy until he's told what is really wrong with him. He's looking out into Central Park when he gets her scent. It's his Bloodmate, Kimber, who happens to be a Dragon shifter. She's an innocent but sassy woman who can hold her own with the sometimes arrogant but loveable Viktor. Unfortunately, there is someone else after Kimber for her Dragon magic.
I loved this exciting, edge of your seat, nail biting story. Fantastic characters and an excellent story line. There is magic, suspense, mystery, hot & sexy romance and other supernatural beings-what more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

Victor Strong is an ancient Vampire, a successful businessman, and fully in control of his life and himself. All of a sudden he gets a strange thirst for blood and a drive that threatens to push him into insanity. Then he suddenly catches the sweetest of aromas that he just has to follow until he finds the owner. He is then told this person must be something very rare – a blood-mate and he enters a race against time to find her before the darkness becomes too much and he loses control completely (and therefore his life too). Can he battle through everything in his path to stop this thirst?
Wow – I've read the similar set of books around the shifter thirst but it was great to read it from another point of view of it also affecting a vampire. There was a lot of drama and danger in the story as well as i being a lovely story of love and how two strong people can get past their self reliance to come together as a unit. It was well written and everything was well described so that you felt you were there experiencing the same things as the characters. I felt fully engaged and it was such a relief when everything came good in the end. I loved the presents (you will know what I mean when you read it) and felt that they were well matched as a couple ignoring the blood-mate situation. Definitely recommended as an enjoyable read.

I've come to look forward to reading AK Michaels new books, because we always know what to expect, and we're never disappointed.
Victor is book 1 in the Vampires Thirst series. It is a good start, and I do look forward to reading the other authors work. It is always nice to see how different authors perceive a certain subject, and in this case its a vampires thirst.
I like victor! I like what he stands for. I like his attention to detail. His love he shows towards kimber....his bloodmate. He is a true gentleman.
With all of AK Michaels books we expect a wee twist in the plot, and this book is no different. If you've read Ava's last series based on a Wolf's hunger, you'll see the similarities. If you're a paranormal lover I'd recommended you to read it.
P.S - Yes, Flint needs his own story. Hint hint! Lol!

I'm already a big fab of Ava's books so I knew this would be good. She's taken me on a bumpy ride. We've met vampires before but not one struck by the 'thirst'. It does strange and dangerous things to them.
Dragons! I love dragons. Kimber is a character you feel protective of straight away.
When the two finally meet up, the sparks begin.
There is a threat to their happiness and so Victor has to take measures to protect them.
Things don't always go to plan but hopefully it will turn out ok in the end, won't it?
I can't wait for the next one...

Thirst is the perfect name for what takes iver Victir after millennia of not taking blood directly from tge source !! But all of the sudden, the man/vampire kniwn for having the ce in his veins and absolute control, finds himself slipping, not just his temper, but his ability to think clearly and take only blood from a cup. When he smells the most delicious smell in centuries and comes across a woman in distress, it all becomes clear, his thirst has a name and it believes ngs to his blood mate !! 4⭐️‘s !! And I can’t wait for the next book !

first book in a new series and though i liked it, there were quite a few things that didn't hold together well for me. I didn't particularly like either of the main characters and there wasn't a lot of action. Very fast paced and quick to read and some of the writing didn't flow really well. overall though, not a bad read at all

I was wondering what this was going to be about and when I realized it was going to be like A Wolf's Hunger but with Vampires I got excited. I just couldn't wait to sink my teeth into the first book.
I was not let down at all, immediately fell in love with the book and the new characters. I could just picture scene in my mind as if I was standing in the area.

I am happy, happy, happy. I have just met the coolest, hottest vampire ever. Mr.Strong, strong of name, strong of body and most of all strong of conviction. I just lived this book. A.K.Michaels always knows how to fire up my imagination. The story was also nothing to scoff about. Victor and Kimber go together like warm baths and fluffy afterwear. Yes they give me that fuzzy feeling. Looking forward to our next fang story.

I think I could have enjoyed this a little more, if it didn't feel like everything was in fast forward mode. It seems like the story developed in a hurry and with an urgency that, although explained, didn't show much in ways of plot or character development.

I absolutely LOVED this story! Want to give it 8 star's! Victor is AWESOME and Kimber is so right for him. This story is a true love story...love Flint...it's a wonder Victor didn't drive him crazy! And all my love for Nellie...she's one bad a** lady...this is a MUST read just like all of A K Michaels books!

I absolutely loved this book!! What a fab start to the Vampire's Thirst series. It had romance, suspense and action and I couldn't put it down, so if that's what you want from your books then this is definitely for you. I can't wait for the next one in the series!!

An interesting book which I did enjoy! Kimber is a whiney weak character and lacked depth. Victor was the strong protective mate. The story was good but I wished it had more depth to it.

I enjoyed this book very much!! It was interesting from beginning to end, the story was exciting and at times even sweet. I didn't want it to end so much I already preordered the next book!! I definitely recommend this book, especially if you love stories about hot brooding vampires!! Enjoy!!
