Derwent Drive was known as the longest creep; twenty-five houses all in a row, no bends, no kinks. And no Creeper had ever done the lot. But Jamie and I reckoned we could do it. Jamie was the best Creeper around. And he was the best buddie you could have. Ever heard about "creeping" before? Probably not. Nobody really talks about it. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. It does. Creeping over back fences all the way down a street without getting caught, without being hurt. It happens more than you might think. It’s probably happening somewhere tonight.

This story is about a boy named Jamie. He is considered to be the best “Creeper” at his school, because he knew how to sneak around places, doing bad things, without getting caught. He was very fast and made noise what so ever. One day Jamie decided to ask someone to go creep with him, and so he asked a kid named Carl. Carl wasn’t the best “Creeper”, like Jamie, but he was alright. One day the decided to go creeping on Derwent Drive. When they were halfway done with creeping on Derwent Drive something terrible happened, Jamie was taken by the police. Carl was so scared and didn't know what to do. But he knew that he must get his friend back. This type of story made me wonder what would this be like in the real world because, in the book some things are not so realistic, so if they were to happen in real life I wonder would would happen and how things would turn out. If you like a stories that are crazy and kinda wacky than this would be a good book for you. At some points this books is some type of thriller so you might enjoy it if you are into thrillers.
ok wow this book is so much moor then i thou it wold be i really liked it wish there was moor to it thou o well looking for another book! READ IT READ THE BOOK!!!!!!!!
I couldn't really engage with the plot - creeping sounds weird to me but the characterisation was great. Think many 13-14 year old boys would enjoy it.
Great for the stereotypical group of teen boys who "don't read". Original concept, tension, great characters and a big hanging question at the end. Also niceand short.
