She has an unhealthy obsession with psychic characters and writes with a deck of tarot cards next to her computer.
Absolutely LOVED this story! 💜💙 I so badly wished it were longer, but the story is really good as it is. Camden's secret pulled at my heartstrings so bad, I felt the slight need to cry. I really feel that stories about psychics and and witches (whether or not the main character, Katie, falls into either of those groups) is definitely this author's strong suit.
A cryptic, psychic romance. Katie Miller sees a sea of dark auras upon the student body as she enters school at the end of summer. It's nothing to concern her, just the melancholy that school is resuming. But, when she runs into the new guy who doesn't have an aura at all, she freaks out.
Alicia Rades weaves this tale well. The reactions are genuine. The attraction is stellar. The realization is spot on. The subtle end is as realistic as the story's nature allows.
I picked this book randomly in Scribe because it was short, it took me by surprise that this book is actually good, despite of the generic premise in the beginning. Now I wished the book were longer than it is.
The book worked for me because of several reasons, first the narrator was compelling, I was drawn to the story immediately. The story itself was easy to follow through audiobook. Second, I was care about both main characters, particularly when the female character navigating her power and when the male character unravel his secret. It broke my heart :(
Overall, it was short and concise book. I had good time listening to it!
Aura Aura is a mysterious, and rather gripping supernatural novella. An intriguing, spiritual tale that I found instantly immersive; the mystical and emotional topics finely woven into the plot were handled with a respectful sensitivity. Overall, Aura Aura is beautifully paced, dreamily poignant read that can be enjoyed by all.
It was a good story, but I wish there was more to the story it was a little short. If the book was a little longer I would of love it more I think there is more to this story than the author wrote.
Short and sweet, this book delved into topics that aren't usually touched on by authors. I found it refreshing and inspiring. My only wish was that it was longer, so that I could delve deeper into the characters!
