Inspirational living.

I enjoyed this book. I have read several books through the years which inspired me to become a better human being, most notably, the Bible. The Yarnell 7 was encouraging at letting we humans know we all make mistakes and poor choices in life, but those poor choices do not have to define who we are. I strive daily to be forgiving of myself and others, and try to put myself in others shoes, so as to not be judgemental. I enjoy people and choose daily to smile and voice kind words at others I meet. I feel like I can benefit from the core decisions outlined in this book, if I will just take the time to implement them. Your father was so exceptional, especially by leaving you such great memories and values to follow. Amy, you have honored your father with this wonderful tribute to him, by incorporating his life values into The Yarnell 7.

To share this legacy is not only a beautiful tribute to a great father and human being but an act of generosity for those of us who did not have that example growing up.
The most touching story from the book for me is about how the family had to tell the checkout cashiers in Mark Yarnell's favorite stores that he would not be coming back - as he treated them with such respect and positivity. This story and other shares from the author's childhood give a precious and heartwarming glimpse into what it was like to grow up surrounded by such an inspiring attitude.
The worksheets are very handy, and other great resources are available on the author's website.
A book I can heartily recommend.
