THE ELEVATORGUY is an action/adventure novel told in first-person narrative by several characters, their stories intertwining for a grand finale.
Jack Roberts' tells of his troubled upbringing and his early life as a constant target for bullies. His life changes when he meets the love of his life, Michelle. While returning early from a training seminar, he catches the murderers of his wife red-handed, forcing a confession out of one. Depressed, and standing on the edge of an abyss ready to end it all, he meets a cop that gives him a reason to go on. And he does go on, with a vengeance, but now that he crossed the line, he finds himself unable to stop.
Detective Cooper is investigating a serial killer on the loose, when he accidentally stumbles onto another killer that hides his tracks so well that there is no evidence, just a series of bad accidents only connected by time. Too many accidents are no accidents, but nobody will believe him. And time is running out, “The Moonlight Killers” will strike at the next full moon.
Officer Ivan "The Bear" Petrovich is a cop on the take, with no compunctions about how justice is served. But even he has limits, or so he thinks. While he enjoys “taking out the trash” of Boston’s underworld, his new partner is proving to be reckless, and soon draws too much unwanted attention.
April Bennet came from a broken home. The abused girl has grown into a broken woman, and now she is in love with a murderer, and is his willing partner.
Agent Jenkins, FBI, will bring down anybody that breaks the law, but sometimes even his sense of right-and-wrong are tested.
Foster, once he served his country, now he serves humans. On a plate. And he wants to catch whoever is taking out the bad guys.
Lorenzo Gallo, the son of a don, a career criminal, is fingered for a crime he did not commit. Now that his life is ruined, he has to leave the country. But first, he will get revenge. He is Sicilian after all, one doesn’t just walk away from a vendetta.
And last but not least, Officer Megan Smith, Miss Goody Two-Shoes, the only person in the world that Jack Roberts should have stayed away from.
