Toyah achieved something no other artist has ever done. Her video for 'Thunder in the Mountains' managed to be both pretentious and cheesy at the same time.
That's pure genius.
The only other thing that's remotely interesting about Toyah is her husband Robert Fripp.

Although it was written a while ago this was an excellent autoboigraphy of one of my teenage heroes. I still have most of her albums on my ipod and this was great to read about times I can remember including a concert in Sheffield that I was at
