I Need You Bad: A Standalone Novel
It's funny how one event can turn your life upside down. Italy learned this first hand when a tragic event caused her to be separated from the only family she knew, her older cousin, Sabrina. Having to grow up too fast, Italy was determined to stand on her own two feet to take care of herself. That was until another event sends her to the one place she never expected to go.
Tiffanette was the true definition of a hustler. Hairstylist by day and stripper by night, Tiffanette would stop at nothing for a come up. After a dreaded altercation with her baby daddy, Tiffanette wasn't able to pass go or collect $200, she went straight to jail where she ends up meeting Italy. Through the time they spent together behind bars, Tiffanette taught Italy everything she needed to know about life, except for the concept of love.
Tiffanette reunites with her old flame from high school, Ace, once she leaves jail and maintains her friendship with Italy. While dating Ace, Tiffanette is introduced to his friend and business partner, Darrian. Playing matchmaker, Tiffanette and Ace do their best to push Darrian and Italy together, but are their matchmaking skills up to par?
Darrian wasn't new to the streets. In fact, he knew the streets well enough to allow his hustle to get him locked up, where he was fortunate enough to meet Ace. After bonding, the two decided that they would team up on the outside to find a way to go from rags to reaches. Wanting to step away from the street game, Darrian and Ace work together to start their own successful business. The only thing missing for Darrian was love, but that was until he came face-to-face with Italy.
Will Italy be able to bounce back from her downfall? Will Darrian and Ace be able to maintain a legit hustle and live the life they've always dreamed of? Will Italy finally accept love and allow Darrian into her heart?

Excellent book
I really enjoyed this book. I like how well she tied certain events together and made it work. She twisted relationships , its just a good book. I'm glad I took a chance and read it as this is my first book from this author.

Loved it
Loved the story line... i loved italy & Tiffs Friendship.. i was a little disappointed with Italy Leaving the way she did. Im happy everything worked out in the end! Great Read!

Love stands the test of time
This was a good book. It seemed like Italy just couldn't catch a break. Loved how Tiffanette was a true friend even though they hadn't known each other long. Now Italy's cousin Sabrina was hating on her cousin relationship with Darrian and made her feel like she had to chose between her past ice friendship and her future!! Even though Darrian had his demons, he LOVED Italy!!! So glad they decided to work on their relationship and not allow anyone to jeopardize what they had including family on both sides!!!! Even though they hit a rough patch, their love was taking them to their forever!!!

Must read!!
This book was soooo good. I loved the relationship between Italy and Darrian. She went through so much in her life, that all she deserved was to be happy. I hate that their pasts caught up with them the way it did, but sometimes that makes you stronger in the end. Sabrina was not a good cousin. Although she was trying to look out for Italy, I feel she went about it the wrong way. Ace and Tiffanette were too cute. This book was well written and a page turner. It is highly recommended.

Awesome Story
Enjoyed this book from beginning to the end. Got a little confused at the beginning because a lot of characters was introduced at once. After the prologue the story went really fast. Had to re-read it to get the characters straight. Then the middle was a bit drug out. Overall, loved the storyline and the ending was explosive. Did not see that coming. For this to be a stand alone novel, I want to know more. It left me with questions. Definitely need a book 2

Amazing
I started this yesterday and I couldnt put this down the story flowed and it was amazing I hope there will be a spin off to this ace and darrian are bae but I never thought that both of they cousins was on some snake Shhhhhh. But that hood Bonnie and Clyde handled them...

This is my my first book by this author and I have to be honest at times I was skipping through cause it didnt hold my attention . By the end it did pick up and twist at the end was good . I did enjoy the friendship between Italy and Tiffanette .

Tiff and Italy were true definitions of friendship goals. They had some troubles in life but used each other to bounce back and grow up. They made sure to work through these problems together and find ways to make their lives better. Good read.

I need you bad
Although I loved this book. The first part was slow. I was losing interest. But I from finished it. And I'm glad I did. Hate Darrian had to do time. But Italy and are perfect together. Tiff and Ace were too cute. Ace was a gr8 guy.

Although everyone in this book started out rocky it was a page turner I loved how the author broke down each person and they story. It had a Happy ending. I really liked it.
