Terry has returned from the shadows of death to be with Clyde, but he has more questions than he has answers. The pack is suspicious, and even his lover has doubts about his outlandish story. Desperate to clear his name and learn more about his forgotten past, Terry embarks on a journey of discovery. What he finds will change everything.
Deep in the pine forest, a tormented creature seeks revenge on the pack that has held him captive. More powerful than the werewolves, he wants to destroy. The hybrid hides among them and waits for his chance to pounce. The Alpha senses that his pack is once again on the brink of destruction, but without Clyde’s warlock, he fears all hell is about to break loose.
> > Judging a Book by it's Cover < < Dark, shadowy man in open hooded robe. Faded title font could be bolder for better visibility, but the author font is strong. Synopsis seems a little more complex than that of CURSED. Hopefully it's still within my PNR threshhold.
> > Looking Deeper < < POV ~> Third-person
RESURRECTED continues right where CURSED left off. Clyde's pack held council to determine the fate of the warlock that returned from the dead. Terry believed he would better be able to defend himself if he could find answers about who he really was. Along the way, there are evil shapeshifters, more witches and warlocks, angry werewolves, and one really pathetic (but endearing) vampire. This second part of ALPHA'S WARLOCK was dynamic and dramatic, it had a great energy and still held a unique feel to it. It was a solid enough installment that played out similar to any night-time TV drama serial show. I'd be interested in reading how the story evolves from here in DESTINED, due out in April of 2018 (and secretly hope for more from Seb). . Rating: [PG-13] ~ Score: 4.275 ~ Stars: 4 While there was no sex, there are scenes of otherworldly violence.

Well..... Terry is a lot more a grown up than Clyde is. I almost wanted to slap Clyde. Terry came from far to be with his love Clyde but Clyde is withdrawing and insecure... The pack still doesn't want him around. Terry's past is one big cloud....To win Clyde back Terry knows what to do.
So much more story is revealed in this installment. It's expanding in a wonderful way. We get to know more and more about Terry, where he's coming from and what happened to him....not only we, but Terry himself gets to know more about himself because he's lost at what happened to him and slowly getting it back.
On his way to.....he doesn't really know 'where to' .... he meets creatures, good and evil. Magic and intuition is guiding him and show him his path.... Only his resurrection is working against him... he is some sort of an outcast... He is so unknown of his own powers and when he does.....
There are still heavy forces who wants to destroy the pack....Clyde tries hard to reach Terry...
Very nice fantasy story with warlocks, werewolf and.... a very endearing vampire. The story is getting more developed and intriguing. Both Terry and Clyde attitude with each other felt immature and human between all the beauty of the fantasy world. I hope they are getting more mature together in part #3
This series is getting really good. What's not great about warlocks, and vampires, werewolves and shapeshifters? For this book we are back with Terry and a lot of tension and unhappiness.
Terry came back from the dead after being used by a witch to do her evil business. He had to come back for Clyde. The love of his heart. But as he has come back, he has realized some of his old life has come back to him. And some of it is a big blank. The big blank in his memories and thoughts are causing the wolf pack he's been 'in’ some very uncomfortable feelings. They don't trust him. And now even Clyde has been wondering if there was a spell that Terry used on him. All these thoughts and feelings are ripping Terry apart and he decides it's time for him to leave and find out what really happened to him. While Terry is gone, a shapeshifter bent on revenge, gets his wish. And he reeks havoc upon the wolf pack. Through the connection Clyde and Terry have, Clyde is screaming for help but he doesn't think Terry will get there in time.
I feel for Terry in this book. Even Clyde. Terry did everything possible to make his way back from the dead to be with Clyde. And the minute he's back, he's being questioned and mistrusted. And all the doubts and fears and questions are causing Clyde to mistrust Terry himself. All Terry wanted was to be with the man he loved and even though he saved the wolves, he feels like whatever he does isn't enough. He's such a sweetheart. He just wants his man. Clyde doesn't know which way is up. He knows he wants Terry and loves him but he's so confused. And the thought of Terry leaving him when he just got him back is gutting him. It's so hard. But Terry thinks it's for the best. And it turns out to be a good thing because of what he learns. Hopefully, the two of them can realize what they mean to each other and hold on tight.
If you haven't read book one, please do. You will be lost if you don't read it. And it's a good little series. I'm definitely ready for book three. I hope there's a book three, because I'm kind of left hanging here, lol. Happy reading!
Unfortunately, there wasn’t much I found enjoyable about book two in the Alpha's Warlock series. Clyde goes from irritating to dislikable, and instead of the mystery behind Terry’s death being a well executed narrative on its own, it was instead used as a poorly done set up for a plot contrivance for later installments in the series. "Resurrected" begins after Terry's mysterious return at the end of "Cursed". Without spoilers, the most I can say is that Terry’s journey for answers only served as a plot device—in the beginning of the book to create conflict and then later as a convoluted way to introduce a potentially ominous element to Terry’s future development. Terry’s home and the ONLY people who can tell him what happened are easy to find, the answers to his death quickly answered and the circumstances surrounding his death make staying a really bad idea. All subsequent drama makes no sense beyond FORESHADOWING…for a later book(s).
If Terry’s mystery being a glorified chess move for another story wasn’t bad enough, Clyde devolving from being a bit annoying and selfish in the first book to high school level petulant and insensitive were just too much for me. The ACTUAL high school aged character, Sebastian, who has ample reason to be self-involved and inwardly focused, shows more care for, selflessness and genuine affection towards Terry than Clyde does. It’s understandable that Clyde is an emotional mess because he loves a man who played a role in killing his packmates, and it would be hard not to have doubts about Terry’s amnesia or whether the love he feels is real or conjured, even after being reunited for over a month. However, although Clyde knows that his anger and mistrust, as well as that of the pack are exacerbated by Terry’s lack of knowledge and that finding answers is important if they want a future together, Clyde seems incapable of even TRYING to be understanding, compassionate or reasonable.
Throughout the book, Clyde’s self-centeredness and lack of concern for what the man he supposedly loves may be going through is astounding. If only showing care, support and understanding throughout Clyde’s anger, doubt and mistrust isn’t enough, by the time Terry leaves, he has now sat through two meetings where strangers have debated killing him in order to be with Clyde. Clyde knows all this, knows that his boyfriend DIED somehow, yet when Terry reaches out to him to share what he’s learned, Clyde isn’t remotely supportive and basically throws a jealousy induced tantrum.
Suddenly, Clyde doesn’t care about Terry’s past and Terry is “obsessed” about learning the truth even though Terry’s inability to give Clyde answers made him angry and suspicious enough to physically harm Terry when he first came back and kept their relationship in a holding pattern of mistrust the entire month after Terry’s return. Clyde also seems to conveniently ignore the fact that Terry’s amnesia makes it even less likely that the pack, who mostly want to kill or banish Terry, will learn to trust him and give him a chance. All Clyde cares about is the fact that Terry had a boyfriend before he, again let me reiterate, DIED, and that “[Clyde] won’t spend the rest of [his] life wondering whether [Terry’s] thinking about someone else”. Then his only concern for how the conversation ends comes when he realizes he forgot to mention his problems and his need for Terry to come back and help fix it. WTF?
Between Clyde’s personality and the disappointment of having the one part of the story I did have some interest in used mostly for a payoff in a later book, I’m not compelled to continue the series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
What another fantastic read in this series. The Alpha's Warlock is an amazing series thus far. I love all the mystery behind everything that is going on. Not knowing who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. There is a level of suspense around what is going to happen next and if Terry and Clyde will actually be able to come out on the other side both intact and together.
In this installment of this series, Terry wants to know more about his past. He knows that the memories that he carries in his minds eye are not his own and he also has small. It's and pieces of his past coming back to him slowly. He wants to know what coven he belongs too and where he came from. The only problem is Clyde is not happy about him going off, especially in the unknown.
After creating a mind link so they can communicate if they would like, Terry convinces Clyde that this is something that needs to be done. Though Clyde is not happy about it, he does not put up too much of a stink about it. The truth be known Clyde still has doubts of his own about Terry even though he does not doubt the live they feel for each other. This in it's self is putting distance between them so knowing about Terry's past may not be such a bad thing.
Of course none of this is simple and along the way Terry makes a new friend. From an unlikely source but the truth behind who he is and why is in his past may just destroy what little bit of fragile relationship is left between him and Clyde.
This was another good book by Kris Sawyer. I cannot wait for he next book to come out to see exactly what Kris has in store for the readers. If I had to guess it will be another shocker. Kris Sawyer is probing to be an amazing author with a keen ability to shock the readers. Love his series. Can't wait for more!!!!
Was given this galley copy for free for an open and honest review
Intriguing plot, complex characters, lots of creativity with the story-line and world building. Amazing combination of characters, werewolves, warlocks, vampires, shape-shifters, witches, and lots of magic, lay the foundation for a wonderful story.
Learning to love someone forbidden yet you know is your soulmate is the challenge that Terry and Clyde face in this story. Trust is difficult when their is lots of suspicion and accusations from the outside world. Believing in a future when everything is upside down is a true test of a relationship. These two brave men face the challenges and find a way to become stronger and love deeper.
i found Cursed, book one, a terrific introduction to this series and book two, Resurrected is fascinating and greatly increases the depth of this developing story. I am loving the new character, Seb the young vampire and self-proclaimed protector for Terry. Lots of great plot ideas can be located within Seb's thoughts and actions.
i really loved Terry and found him a really solid and mature character. His need to understand where he came from and to understand what happened in his past, was really understandable to me. I loved his willingness to be open and honest with Clyde about what he was experiencing. I also understood Clyde's insecurity about Terry and his fears about their relationship. However, i really wanted Clyde to step up and take a stand emotionally to support Terry and commit to believing in him.
This is a story that you know has so much more to be revealed and i am looking forward to book three. I enjoyed this book even more than Cursed and i am loving how the story is developing! This is definitely not a stand-alone story and book one, Cursed must be read to get a full appreciation of this book!
Grab a seat and curl up and enjoy a wonderfully crafted story that will keep you engaged from beginning to end.
Resurrected is the 2nd installment of the Alpha’s Warlock. It follows Cursed and cannot be read as a stand alone book. It starts when we stopped at the end of Cursed.
My opinion of this book is more or less the same as of the first one.
I love the story: I love the universe and all the small ideas that are inside this book. The story is still original and scenario focused (more than romance focused). I really like the two main characters who are getting more subtle in their personality and I kind of like Seb (the newcomer, I really wish we will keep seeing him for a long time). The atmosphere is dark and heavier than in the first book (dark magic is coming, people are dying). And I like that.
The two main issues are related: the length of the book and the rhythm. The narration presents some weird successions (like not enough descriptions, abrupt change of point of view in the same chapter). The book is a sort of paranormal/fantasy novel but with neither the length nor the structure (so we are sometimes lost because there are not enough explanations in the narration). I feel like it misses some parts (even if we don’t go further with the scenario) to have a better understanding of what happens or who is thinking… I understand the choice of the short structure as the story is a serial (at very affordable price, I recognize that) but as a fantasy/paranormal reader I feel sometimes frustrated with the shortness.
It is still a book to read in my opinion, especially if you like epic paranormal stories with warlocks and werewolves, dark universes and twisted plot (but you need to be patient because this book is not the end of the story).
I was provided this book as an ARC in exchange of an honest review.
This was a good continuation. We begin with just as much uncertainty and confusion as we were left with when Cursed ended. Here, however, we're given an additional "bonus" of emotional angst and an ever-widening gap between Clyde and Terry. Terry is committed to finding out about the past that was stolen from him and Clyde is so uncertain about what the truth is. He wonders if his feelings are getting in the way of truth but can't bear to let Terry go. They're both struggling under the weight of the unknown. There's something else at work, though, someone banished to memory and secrecy...but not for long. With the pack's future hanging on by a thread and Terry's presence bringing more turmoil than it soothes the lovers are unsure of where their future lies.
So making a decision for them both, Terry goes off in search of his past. But the darkness that clings to him from the land between is another unknown that threatens everything. There's a new power in him that he needs to learn to control or it will control him. There are also the people in the past that he finds. I can't say I'm a fan of his avoidance and acceptance of affection with Dominic. For being so connected to and devoted to Clyde, he should have, after the first instance, encouraged more distance from his past because it would be the right thing to do. Then the thing with the council, I can see that coming to haunt him in the next book.
I was far more excited by this book than Cursed and have high hopes for where this whole story will go. There's Terry's new power, Clyde's new Alpha status, a pack divided, a war brewing, factions and mysteries at every turn...there are a lot of places to go with this.
Resurrected is the second installment of the Alpha’s Warlock series, and I have to say, it’s an improvement on the first one, Cursed, in that the plot is a lot more complex, with a wider range of characters. The plot was fast-paced, never dragging, and not too complicated to follow. The dialogue and descriptions were good and balanced just right. I also loved the world-building, which was convincing and intriguing to read. Despite the alluring front cover, the sex is fade to black, which is kind of refreshing in a book about shifters and werewolves.
It’s almost impossible to argue the plausibility of a plot device in a book about werewolves and warlocks, but there are occasions where events happen that are slightly too convenient; Clyde’s method of enabling Terry to communicate with him via telepathy is one, but these are minor issues in a book which has introduced some fun extra characters to alleviate some of the angst. Sebastian the vampire is a welcome addition. There is no comedy as such, but light relief to contrast with all the death and destruction between the werewolves, headed by Luke, and an enemy who can shape-shift into anyone they choose.
There is a genuine sense of tension and menace. The two at the centre of this story, lovers Clyde and Terry, are appealing and believable, but their love is threatened by the fact that Clyde’s pack no longer trusts Terry, after the events in Cursed. Terry is desperate to clear his name and find out the truth about his past, leading to some surprising twists and turns.
Once again the ending felt a little neat, but it leads smoothly into a third installment, which I believe is due out in April 2018. All in all, it was a great read, and it will be fun to find out how Clyde and Terry’s futures pan out.
Who doesn't like a mystery? Who doesn't like solving one? The twists and turns were fabulous and I have to say I really enjoyed this story more. New characters were introduced and for those of us who have been welcomed into this new universe, we were able to dissect and rearrange our thoughts.
"I didn’t want to be a vampire any more than you asked for resurrection, but here we are. You can play the hand you’re dealt, or spend a lifetime trying to turn spades into hearts." ~Sebastain
Suddenly back from the dead, yet again, the warlock Terry found that there was just too many questions that needed answers. Against everything, he set aside his needs and love for his werewolf lover, Clyde, to find the answers. Journey back with Terry as he haunts for who he really is as he tries to solve the mystery of why life dished him the cards he had been dealt. What Terry found was more than he anticipated. Could he remain knowing all that he did, or would he forgo everything to return to his lover?
And what of Clyde? He too had many questions. And now family was being threatened. Where did this leave the lovers? And was Clyde ready for what destiny had in store for him?
If you have not read book one Cursed, I suggest you do so as these stories are interconnected and in order to enjoy its full pleasure, they should be read in order for complete understanding. More to come.
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
Resurrected Book 2 carries on from where book 1 finished, Terry coming back from the dead. Even though Terry killed 2 werewolves his life has been spared as he killed Beatrice. Terry needs to find out who he is and where did he come from. He doesn't want to leave the love if his life Clyde but he needs answers. Before he goes he teaches Clyde how to communicate through their minds so they will always be together. On his travels he encounters more witches, a scrawny scared vampire named Sebastian, Dimitri (his former lover) and his sister Jill. Dimitri wants to rekindle their love but all Terry can think of is Clyde. While Terry's away Clyde and Luke go hunting for answers. Luke tells Clyde a shapeshifter has taken one of their brothers bodies but they need to work out who! Luke has called a meeting so they all gather. When Luke fails to show they all start talking about going home until they spot two figures on the ridge. Luke is on the floor bleeding and there is the shapeshifter, Jayden stood over him. He turns them into their wolf form and fight leaving Luke dead! Jayden puts a spell on all the werewolves so he can escape until Terry comes back removing the spell. He heard Clyde calling him and had to save the one he loves. I enjoyed the second book and look forward to hearing more of Sebastian in book 3. Also poor Luke 😢 I received an arc in return for a honest review
Just finished an ARC for Resurrected the 2nd book in the Kris Sawyer series Alpha's Warlock. This series is highly imaginative filled with magic and the unexpected. The plot of the first book is extended in this second installment and I enjoyed it even more than the first. The backstory here is that there was a war between the warlocks/witches and the werewolves and the witches seem to be still fighting this war, though covertly. So far, they're very hateful of other unseen species and put themselves at the top of the chain... except for our hero Terry. He's been caught in the middle of it. His lover Clyde, the werewolf has also been caught in the middle of the trouble. Watching how they get out of trouble, or around trouble is the best part of the book. I also love a new character Sawyer added, a vampire boy named Seb. I'd read the next book just to see more of him! The only thing critical I will say is that there is a bit more telling what happens than showing it than I care for in a story, but balancing that with the length of the book, I'm sure is a challenge. Otherwise, the plot moves in fascinating ways, the characters are strong and compelling, and the writing is clear with almost zero typos. I'm giving it 5-stars.
Book 2 carries on from where book 1 Cursed finished left us … Terry came back for Clyde, but he discovered something was wrong with his own past and he sets out to find the truth. He wants to know who he is, so he can be a better man for Clyde. On his journey to find out the truth, Terry stumbles upon some mad witches and a vampire. (Love Sebastian) He teams up with Sebastian while searching for the truth of his past. Meeting his old coven brings out old love and the deadly truth of his past and he wants to make wrong right again but someone wants it differently. Terry ends up in a very bad position but Sebastian rescues him … kinda Meanwhile Clydes pack is attacked by a shapeshifter, who seem too powerful for them and it looks like he is out for vengeance, but who holds the key to the secrets of the past? Terry feels in his mental bond with Clyde something is amiss and hurries back with Sebastian only to find a battle zone with dead or wounded wolves and he learn about his hidden powers and breaks a few rules to be with the man, who holds his heart and love. Looking forward to the last book in this trilogy.
Not a standalone, you need to read book one for this story to make sense. But you need to read book one anyway, it’s a great story. And this one is even better.
Terry is back from the land of the in-between and death. He and Clyde are still together, but there is an unsettled feeling between them. Terry knows things he didn’t before his death but has gaps in his memory that test the trust between him and Clyde.
Before things get bad between him and Clyde’s pack, he leaves to find answers. Along the way, he picks up a companion, Seb. Who happens to be a vampire, but not a great one. He’s small and doesn’t or can’t do the whole neck sucking thing on humans. But Seb is going to be Terry’s protector since he saved him. Seb is so darn cute. Can’t wait to see more of him.
There are more twist and turns in this story. Some answered questions and new ones asked. And once again, it’s a well-written plot that keeps you turning pages. I was at the end of the story way too soon. And now I have to wait for the next one. I need more of Terry and Clyde’s story.
At the end of Cursed Terry died (a second time??) and came back to life. Resurrected picks up where Cursed left off. I loved the way Terry dealt with the witches. Not much sympathy there because Terry is not afraid of anything! Not only does Terry find his way back to Clyde but he picks up a few almost unsavory friends along the way. Terry’s excursion back to Clyde, when he has trouble communicating across their mating thought line, is great. This book reveals even more animosity between the world of the unseen and the creatures of the night that was first seen in Cursed. I thought peace would be easier between these two groups but nothing is ever easy in the paranormal world. When Terry meets an old lover it almost seems like they will pick up where they left off years ago. There are decisions to be made. Clyde finally gets in contact with Terry and hears about his old lover, which leads to doubts and mistrust. I loved these characters and the dialog among them is beautifully written. I can hardly wait for the next book in this series!
The story continues with even more intriguing and fascinating characters. Terry is resurrected and back from death. Instead of giving it the couple their much-needed happily ever after, it raised more questions and doubts. Terry wishes to learn where he came from; Clyde is insecure whether he can trust Terry or not. They both need some time apart to find the truth, although they never lose touch with each other. Their separate journeys are full of surprising twists and had me on the edge of my seat. Along the way, they encounter many new characters. From witches to warlocks, shapeshifters to vampires. I loved Seb, the young vampire. He is a little scamp with a heart of gold. In the end, good conquers evil, but not without sacrifices. Terry and Clyde find their way back toward each other, but I have a sense their adventures are not over yet. This book is the second in the Alpha’s Warlock’s series and cannot be read as a stand-alone
I loved revisiting Clyde and Terry again in this story. They are great characters who are trying to discover things about the past, Terry's past. Terry and Clyde are separated for a while when they decide to figure out who Terry is and how he ended up where he was to meet Clyde. I liked going on the journey with Terry. He is very snarky. I love the he dealt with the witches. He was not afraid of anything. He even picks up stray vampires! I liked Terry's interactions with the people he meets on his journey. I think that the dialogue was well written. This world that Clyde and Terry are in is crazy but it is well written. I liked it. This story gave more reasons behind the enmity between witches/warlocks and other creatures. You would think that they would all have peace pacts but nothing ever goes easy in their world's paranormal creature relations. All in all, I loved the characters and I loved their story. I received this as an ARC.
Book two in the Alpha’s Warlock series is another winner. Clyde and Terry are reunited after Terry fights his way back from the netherworld, but life is not any easier the second time around. Terry realizes that Beatrice took the memories of his previous life and feels he must learn who he is and where he comes from. Clyde and the pack even more so have their doubts about Terry. We’ve got a coven of nasty witches, a young vampire that I really want to adopt, and a new villain threatening the pack. It’s a fairly quick adventure, well written and moves at a good pace. My only issue is Clyde and his mistrust again. If someone I loved crossed a river of brimstone to come back to me, I sure would trust in him. However, I do really like the fact that Kris didn’t make reunification easy on the lovers; they have a new love and spent time apart when Clyde thought Terry dead; it’s awkward and uneasy and realistic. I look forward to book three (and much more Seb I hope).
Resurrected is the second book in the Alpha’s Warlock series by author Kris Sawyer. This is written almost in serial style. So all the books should be read in order. In this story, we have Terry trying hard to remember what has happened to him. This has an almost thriller feel to it. We know by reading his plight he really must remember, or he and his mate will be in great danger. Clyde wants to support Terry. But he feels rather helpless to do so. He does let Terry work it out for himself and supports Terry’s efforts any way he can. This story is not sexual in nature. It more of a who done it feel and plot driven. I really loved this story. There is tenderness but not just that driving the story. There is a ton of ideas in this story that makes me want to read more. I really loved this story and I cannot wait for more.
This book follows on from Cursed the first book in the warlock series. The first book left us, after Terry came back from death, with many questions to be answered and the only answer he can give is almost unbelievable. With Clyde’s pack chomping at the bit to kill him and even Clyde is not totally convinced of everything Terry has to say.
Terry decides he needs to go in search of his past in the hope he can prove his story to the pack. But there are sinister forces lurking in the packs area and all is not as it seems. This second book is very exciting and intense. I am reluctant to describe the details of the story, but I will say the plot and pace are perfect. You also get even closer to the characters and their feelings. With both Terry and Clyde in danger from a hybrid who seems unstoppable and determined to destroy the pack you are promised a nail-biting ending.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
4.5 stars.. A great story for more tales of Terry and Clyde life. This is the second book in the series and not read as a standalone. Terry's adventure to find himself was great but leaving Clyde was what he needed to do. I wasn't impressed with Cyde's jealousies with Terry's ex-boyfriend reappearance. The deceptive Jill hope she gets wants coming to her, that was nasty. The ending of the book was sad and I'll look forward to reading the next installment. Seb's character I thought was a bit weak seeing as he couldn't catch a cow..vampires are supposed to be fast lol. Terry returns with Clyde after his experience last night with no memory what happened. Terry didn't know who he was from his past and needed to find out. He knew he was from Wyoming but didn't know about his coven, while their relationship was becoming distant. An overall great book I'd definitely grab the next one..
You need to have read part 1 to understand what is happening in this outstanding serial.
Book 2 sees Terry returning from the Shadowlands to be with Clyde however things are about to get very complicated for the pair as Terry is beginning to remember who he used to be and where he came from but Clyde is unsure whether or not he can trust him.
This is such an unusual and original story, full of werewolves, witches and warlocks with a scrawny vampire thrown in for good measure.
These books should go straight to the top of your tbr lists.
A wonderful continuation of this series, it picks up right where Cursed ended when Terry comes back. Clyde and Terry have a bumpy road as Clyde still has doubts about Terry even though he loves him. Terry wants to find out more about where he cam from and takes off to find out. There are twists and turns on his journey as well threats still haunting the pack. It's a great book that you must read to see everything that happens and I can't wait for the next installment. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Alpha's Warlock 2. You should read book 1 Cursed, to understand the complex characters. In Cursed there was action, werewolves and a warlock. Resurrected adds a coven, not happy to see Terry, an old lover and a new friend, being a scrawny, hungry vampire. Meanwhile, the werewolves have issues with a sadistic shapeshifter. Anyone who is into paranormal will adore this series. Cover Artist is Sidney Lowell. The Cover Art in Cursed and Resurrected are clean with a bold, easy to read font on the title and author's name. 5 stars are earned for content and cover.
I still love Clyde and Terrry, but this book added a new character that I can't wait to see more off....Seb! he's a vampire and takes on the roll of terry's protector, and he's adorable.
Terry and Clyde have a few challenges in this one but by the end of the book things seem to be on track for them...some twists and surprises in this one...
this story was even better than the first, can't wait to see what happened next.
I loved this, the second installment in the Alpha's Warlock series. This time around they're hunting, Clyde is hunting a shape shifter hiding in the pack and Terry is hunting his own history. There are people lost, found and a vampire sidekick. I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to read the next book to find out more about the consequences of Terry's return but I'll have to wait until 2018 😱.
*I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book*
I really like Resurrected, it’s a quick, fast-paced read. It definitely helps to have read book one, Cursed, as it follows the same characters. I like that the world is built slowly and the secondary characters are interesting but don’t overtake the story, except maybe Sebastian. He’s adorable and I am not a vampire fan, but I want to know what happens to him. Clyde and Terry are mostly separated during this story but I like their relationship and can’t wait to read more in book three.
