Dash kept his promise. Charlotte is now safely behind the walls of the Diamond Towers, but it's not at all what she had hoped for. She's kept as a virtual prisoner. She's not trusted because of her ties to Dash. Her family is not the same. Her father runs the Institute, her mother is a mad scientist experimenting on people, and her sister is an angry psychopath that seems to hate her. The boy she loves has gone off to find his girlfriend, her only friend is a timid serving girl, Star assigned to her, and she's placed in the Institute's training program where everyone's goal seems to be to try to kill her. Not what she was hoping for at all! Now her dreams show her that she needs to leave, to find Dash. When her visions show her mother killing Star, she decides the time has come to escape. With Blink's help, Charlotte and Star make their escape and find/are found by Dash. Their reunion ends up being more complicated than expected but at least they are together. And on the run from the Night's Guard, bounty hunters, and all of the other enemies Dash has made along the way, as well as trying to survive the dangerous land itself. Charlotte still has her knack for attracting trouble, so the three are in a constant state of survival. Charlotte and Dash embrace the fight but Star is definitely out of her element. She is not suited for this new world. Old allies and enemies make appearances, lives are on the line, an friend makes and a most unexpected appearance just in time. Capture can only be avoided for so long, and the story comes full circle, but maybe the enemy we know isn't the worst danger out there. It might be necessary to put aside differences to have a hope at survival. All that matters is that Dash and Charlotte are together. As long as they are together the world may have a chance.

This is my favorite fairy tale ever. Charlotte and Dash are each great characters on their own, but together they are the absolute best. They each grew so much in this book. Their constant bickering, their attraction to one another, the way they work together, their protectiveness and gentleness for the other is lovely. When Dash finally 'woke' up and realized his feelings he was incredible with both actions and words. I was conflicted about Star. She was a good friend to Charlotte but circumstances and her inability to adapt to the new world didn't exactly endear her to me. I love Ryker. He was quite unexpected. I hate Charlotte's family. Whom I hate more depends only on which one is in the scene. I am hopeful for their redemption in the coming fight, but trust will be hard to earn.

This story is a non-stop adventure. As enjoyable and entertaining as they come. I can't wait for the next book! Charlotte's abilities and the way she attracts trouble, her and Dash together, and Ryker and Ember should make for a thrilling read.

***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review***
OMG! I have been waiting so long for this book to come out and I devoured it from the beginning to the end! I was kept captivated throughout the entire book! It picks up right where book 1 left off.
Charlotte... was now back at Diamond Towers and was not as thrilled to see her family who has changed so much! It really makes Charlotte question if she can trust anyone besides herself and Dash. Charlotte's sister doesn't act much like a sister, but rather a jealous high school girl. Her father and mother seem like they just want to use her to build this so called army.
Dash... we learn so much about his past and the struggles he has dealt with. It was refreshing to see why Dash is the way he is to everyone else, but different when he is with Charlotte. He knows there is something about her that pulls him in, but he doesn't want to admit his true feelings as they only end up so much more confusing in this book. Read the book and you see what I mean.
The end of the book was looking like there will be a different turn of events since there was now a reason as to why an army is being built. This book was truly amazing and I cannot wait for book 3... the final book in the series!

Finally back in this world!

I couldn't wait to read this and see where Charlotte ended up this time, I did feel like she really grew a lot more as a character this time. She was still her sassy snarky self with a little whining but as she now knows this world a lot more you get to see her come into her own and at the same time be insanely epic.
I was happy to hear more about her abilities but also to see more of the other abilities that come out of this mist! Seeing her interact with them and her family was interesting and helped the story.
Dash as always was epic, it was great to see another side of him but I still feel like he hasn't opened up completely just yet and I want to see more of him and Charlotte.

I always love seeing more of this world and it really did get a lot more complicated in this one! setting up to be a really interesting final book

I will say the only reason why this is not 5 stars is cause it was too fast, I felt like sometimes a bit more time could have been spent on certain things and just still wanted a little bit more to put it over the top but still really enjoyable!

OMG, another spectacular book to this series, I'm going to die waiting on the last one in the series now! JL Weil, did a spectacular job on continuing the series, it pulled me right in where book one left me hanging & wanting more. I was glued to this book until I was done, just like the first book. The pace, once again, is fast & furious- keeping me on the edge of my seat. The great world building extends from book one, the H/h characters (Dash & Charlotte) are still very likable, they have you wishing they can get to that HEA! The relationship between Dash & Charlotte is so wonderful, they are ying to yang, complementing each other perfectly. As a reader, you can see they are perfect for each other. I really love Dash, he’s such a perfect hero, he’s just troubled, deep & complex enough with enough good & imperfections, to balance him perfectly, making him a believable man. I did like the ending on this book, it’s still a cliff-hanger, but the kind that makes you excited for the next book. This was another fantastic read.

I had mixed feelings about the first book in this series, and I wasn't sure that I was going to continue to read it. But I wanted to know what happened to Dash enough to continue reading the series. First off, let me say that Charlotte didn't annoy me nearly as much in this book. It may be the fact that she was actually trying to be somewhat of a decent person. Mostly when it came to finding out who Star really was.

I understand her frustration and jealousy with the situation, and I was completely surprised that she didn't go complete bitch mode on Star when she found out who she was. I was expecting things to go south and quick. But overall I think she handled it fairly well. I think in this book her overall annoying, I'm a bitchy entitled teenager got squashed just a bit. Don't get me wrong she still has her moments of cringe worthy behavior, but she overall just wasn't as obnoxious as she was in the first book.

I was able to get through this with most of my brain cells intact.

Decent read. Better than the fist book in my opinion.

Its finally here! I was looking forward to this book so much!

We start book two with Charlotte within the institute at diamond towers. Charlotte finds out that her parents are the main people governing the heights, usually there would be a warm welcoming. A celebration of a family back together again. But all she receives are cold eyes and indifference. Even her sister seems to hate her. They keep her locked up, not in the dungeon's, but a bright pink room and curtains to match. A big comfy bed and three meals a day, but she was a prisoner in disguise. Only the best for their long lost daughter. Charlotte has no idea if dash made it out. She misses him dearly and can't stop thinking about him. So much so that his smell even taunts her.

I absolutely love Charlotte and Dash! I can't get enough of them! We are also introduced to new characters and they definitely spice things up a bit :)

I have been dying for the release of Entangled. The Beauty Never Dies Series is turning into one of my all time favorite series. Entangled was beyond amazing. The story line is so unique and enthralling that I am not sure I'll make it till the 3rd instalment is released. Right away you are sucked into the story. The dynamic between Dash and Charlotte is unbeatable. There is so much attraction, respect and amusing situations between the two of them. Dash I want for myself and Charlotte I want to be- she's fierce, powerful and an overall amazing. This is a must read series. Entangled is a just so unbelievably good, you have to read to believe it

What Will Happen Next?

This series. I’m getting addicted. This world of the Heights is something out of a twisted fairytale.
Dash and Freckles. My god I love them together. Not only the romance between them but the fact that they bicker back and forth 24/7. They trust each other, but love giving each other shit.
I love the danger aspect the author adds to this series. Not only are the 2 main characters trying to hide from the institute but danger seems to always find Charlotte.
I’m so intrigued with Charlotte’s gifts. Not only can she control lighting but she also has a force field and others. I can’t wait to see what more she discovers about herself.

This book picks up the story of Charlotte and Dash in a post apocalyptic world where a mist has given some people interesting abilities. Book 1 ends with Charlotte finding her family and being taken to The Diamond Towers. The question now is whether she is safer with her family or with Dash back in The Heights. I am a HUGE fan of this author and have read everything she has written. I noticed in this book that her writing is evolving into something really special and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next!!

What a second book in the Beauty Never Dies Chronicles. “Entangled” by J.L. Weil is full of nail biting action, heart break, betrayal, happiness, love, friendship, and so many surprises. It will keep you enthralled and on your toes. Dash and Charlotte are hotter than ever and their chemistry is amazing. J.L. Weil does an amazing job adding life to the characters in the Heights world. New characters are introduced and we’ll get to know Charlotte’s family a little better. The book was very entertaining and worth every minute.

Charlotte wins the crappy parents lottery if there is one. I loved learning how the Institute really is from the inside. Dad did say some about it previously, but the reality is worse in my opinion. Seeing people willingly stay somewhere horrible is worse than them being forcefully kept there. I really enjoyed getting to see more of this new world that Dash and Charlotte find themselves in. I can't wait to find out more about these two and what's really wrong in the word. Caitlin and Gary did great with the narration and I hope that in the next book we get to hear more from Gary.

It picks up after all the first novel and it is very good. New meet two new friends/allies named Star and Ryker. Both are good characters. Charlotte's parents and sister was god damned insane to say but you need to read it on your owe to see why I called them insane.

Dash is still sexy to me and every type of male i wanted in my life. Charlotte was a bit stupid to me at times but it was funny stupid to me.

Now, we get a kinda two love triangle, one with Dash's old girlfriend; "S" and the other is... well read the damn book.

Omg, so loved this book. Dash and Charlottes story is enticing and enthralling. They are strong characters that compliment each other perfectly. The chemistry between all is tangible and real with their quick wit and humor taken center stage, then mix that in with a story that is refreshingly unique and nicely written with adventure at every turn and that gives us the fantastic story of entangled. Can’t wait for the next installment.

Daddy's Girl

When Charlotte woke all she wanted was to be reunited with her family. Then she got her wish. She realized she was no longer daddy's girl. She was a science project. Then all she wanted was to be reunited with Dash. She got her wish, but not without complications. One was Dash's girlfriend from the before and Charlotte 's only friend. The second, Daddy was hunting both Dash and Charlotte!

Another book to keep me on the edge of my chair the whole way. Twists and turns. Love scene wasn't too much detailed which is good. This book had one F-bomb I'm not happy about. I by passed it and the other swear words.

I would give this book 3 1/2 stars.

I'm going to read the third book but not sure I would read more books from this author because of what I don't want to read certain things in books.

DASHing Read... See what I did there.

God I love Charlotte and Dash! Whoa with that plot twist! I love Charlotte's evolution. She was basically kind of a princess and now she is pretty Brave. Weird dynamic going on with her family. I need more Ryker and more of Ember and Charlotte!

Thank You BookBub for inviting me to this amazing book series

It is one of the best dystopian fictions I have read. It is like a mixture of the Selection Series and The hunger games and beautiful creatures! I absolutely recommended if you like any of the above... I bet you'll love it! ;)

Good

This book and the first one in this series are unique. There is the telling of an old fairy tale but it makes it fresh and something new again the characters as well as the world that is described are rich in detail. I can't wait for the next installment to come out. Highly recommend.

This series is amazing! Love the characters even if it’s a love to hate relationship with some. It’s full of action, twists, turns, betrayal, friendships, supernatural aspects, and romance. J.L. Weil is a master at spinning a story that keeps you on edge until the end.

Better than book 1. Easy to read, interesting continuing storyline and a few laugh out loud moments. I'm interested to see about the forsaken and the many journeys that Charlotte and Dash would face together, as it is quite amusing; the two of them.

I really enjoyed reading this book. This is a YA fantasy that involves both sci-fi elements and plenty of danger, with nearly even mixed of young love. If you are a fan of YA fantasy, you will fall in love with the Beauty Never Does series.

It felt more like the same thing of the first book, like they are going on in circles. The plot twist were predictable and didn't have much impact, i kept checking how much there was left to end, and i dread having to read the third book

I just love the connection between Dash & Freckles. I feel like their bond is what is going to be the saving grace of it all. One thing that I absolutely love about JL Weil’s writing is that she gives you ALL the feels & angst without being sexually descriptive. What a breath of fresh air!
