Mia had crushed on Roan for years and one day all of her dreams came true when she ended up in bed with him. Then those dreams came crashing down when she woke up the next morning and he was gone. Determined to move on, she went off to college and ended up landing her dream job… right back in Boston. Avoiding Roan was impossible as he was her brother’s best friend and business partner, but she wasn’t opposed to giving him the cold shoulder, even if her heart never stopped belonging to him.

When Roan left Mia, it was with good intentions. Still reeling from his wife abandoning him and their young daughters, he wasn’t in any position to be in a relationship. He had nothing to offer and as amazing as Mia was, he felt she deserved someone who could give her the world. It just wasn’t him. But what happens when Mia finally gets him to see that he can have happiness again?

The Perfect Bastard was my first read from LK Collins and based on what I’ve read, it definitely won’t be the last. With a title like that, I expected the hero to be a jerk or a manwhore that needed some taming. But alas, that wasn’t the case. I found a story that was jam-packed with some of my favorite tropes along with a hero who was very easy to like. The story of Roan and Mia was a mix of big brother’s best friend, second chance, and hot single father romance all tied into one. How could I not be entertained? Throw in those sizzling hot sex scenes and call me riveted!!

I was pleasantly surprised with the Perfect Bastard. I'm well read in LK Collins books and didn't expect the storyline. I really liked the family element to the Perfect Bastard as it gave it more depth and and a heartwarming element to it. I also felt the humor in this story was great and there was more of it than what I usually find in this author's books. At least the way the character Chandler was written in this story made it seem that way. I loved him and can't wait for his story.
I enjoyed how the character Georgia created a special dynamic between Roan (the main character) and his daughters. I do wish that Collins went deeper into this part of the story especially near the end for more depth, closure and growth for Roan and his two girls. i think it would have lent itself to some really special moments and a growth to these characters. Chemistry and dynamics between all the characters was believable and had enough depth to them that the reader can invest in them. I actually would have liked to see more of this between Chandler and Mia. I think there could have been some heartwarming moments between them as siblings that have endured a lot.
While the sexy in this book is classic LK Collins, there was something else that I can't quite put my finger on, other than to say there is growth in Collins' writing that had me invested in this book for reasons beyond the quick and dirty. Of course the quick and dirty is still hot.

ARC kindly provided by author.

I was not very familiar with L.K. Collins books until recently, and The Perfect Bastard is my second book from this author and I am quite positive it won't be my last.
This is a second chance/single dad romance and I am a sucker for both, so I have to say that I really enjoyed it right from the very beginning. It is simply a beautiful story of two complex characters with complicated pasts and explosive chemistry who find themselves tangled together.
L.K. Collins' writing is great and I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve next.
I highly recommend it!

4 Quick and Dirty CROWNS

I can always count on L.K. Collins to deliver a fast and uber-sexy romance, and The Perfect Bastard is all that I was anticipating.

Roan Reddick will earn his war into readers' hearts because he is that perfect blend of bad boy and good guy. He has a temper and is often quick to act out, but he is also a really great dad. The dichotomy of his character is further exemplified with his physical look, wearing a suit with tattoos peaking out. He gives reader that good guy with a dash of danger readers seem to love.

Mia is a the best friend's little sister, the forbidden fruit. She is nice and sweet, but she also has a seductive side. Once she decides who she wants, she goes for it, laying it all on the line, and readers can respect a woman with enough guts to speak her mind and desires.

This is a really fast paced book. The relationship moves quickly, and the conflict is one that readers can anticipate. The chemistry between Roan and Mia as well as the angst that develops from the conflict is great and will leave the reader entertained from the beginning to the end.

L.K. Collins is one of my go-to writers when I need a quick and dirty read, and they never let me down in this area. Their stories always have some suspense and angst, very steamy scenes with great chemistry between the main characters, and great heroes and heroines. So if you are looking for something quick and hot, then The Perfect Bastard is what you need.

I am a huge fan of single parent tropes. Add in best friends little sister and this could be a momentous read. Instead, I was finding myself caught up in the action. Then lots of time passing with out seeing the action. I admit I did blank on the warning that the book ends at 50% on the kindle and there is a second book. Even with that, the story just sort of ended.

There was tension....ex's and angry brothers.....but everything just kind of fell away. Now, did I love Roan and Mia? Absolutely. they had a past fling but more important than that was that they had been life long friends. The plot of them getting right with each other made the most sense out of the whole book.

I would have like a few more chapters. Maybe a way for Roan to release his tension since he banned himself from fighting? And a guy raising teenage daughters? Something more needed to happen there. And the whole deal with his ex-wife. It just went away with no more mention.

Just ok for me.

The Perfect Bastard is a story about the true struggles of being a single father and raising two teenage girls. I love the 'single father' trope, I love the emotion that shines bright through the characters with this trope!

Seven years ago Roan's wife (Georgia) signed her rights away, split, and left him alone to raise their two girls. Now the girls are teenagers and he's questioning everything he did as a father in the past and feeling it wasn't enough. Roan is a man with a fighters heart. He's always had the mentality to punch now and think later. I love men in the novels I read to be headstrong with a underlying vulnerability and Roan fit that description perfectly.

Mia (Roan's best friends little sister) steps back into the picture. Roan and Mia shared a night of white hot passion years ago before she left for college. With a nine year age difference and the fact that Mia is Roan's best friends little sister, they decided to keep their one night stand between the two of them. But for four years Mia has lived her life comparing every partner she had to 'the one that literally ran away'. Now Mia is back and Roan isn't about to repeat his mistakes. This time he's staying, the ball is now in Mia's court.

I loved the hell out of Mia and her slow build relationship with Roan's girls. I also loved the true sullen teenage emotions. The struggles the girls went through with being abandoned by their mother and Roan stepping up and trying like hell to make everything right for them. another point I really enjoyed was the fact that Mia didn't try to step in a fill the mother role. Instead she became a friend and a confidant for the girls. She never pushed for them to like her, she was herself.

Overall, I really enjoyed The Perfect Bastard. I always look forward to a new LK Collins novel and this one did not disappoint!!!

The Perfect Bastard is a lovely story about a sexy single dad and second chance at love. It's easy to fall in love with the story and characters.

Roan is a wonderful dad who is willing to do anything to see his daughters happy. He's still dealing with his wife's abandonment and with the woes of raising two daughters, one a preteen and the another a teenager. Roan may need some help and he is hesitant to ask the one person for help.
Mia has returned after years of being away and re-enters Roan's life. Neither of them have forgotten the one night stand they had before Mia left. The sparks fly when they see each other again. Dating a single dad isn't simple. What will his daughter think about their relationdhip? What will happen when Roan's past comes back?

Mia and Roan are likable. She's spunky, smart and has a way of doing things that I couldn't help, but like her. Roan may sometimes come across as a bastard, but he's so much more. I didn't see him as he saw himself. Quite the opposite, he's a good guy.

The second characters were also a delight. I like Roan's daughters. LK Collins captured the emotions perfectly. Their reactions and emotions felt real, raw. It was easy to imagine everything that they were going through. Chandler caught my attention and he's a character that I want to know more of and the woman that will tame his wild heart. I look forward to reading his story.

This is the first time that I read anything of LK Collins. The Perfect Bastard is emotional, funny, and angsty. I really enjoyed reading it and will continue reading other works from LK.

4 stars! This is one hot read!!!

A friends to lovers, best friends little sister, single and second chance romance.
Roan is a single dad raising 2 girls (a preteen and a teenager). His wife, Georgia, leaves him when they are young to persue drinking all day and her own agenda. Roan is best friends with Chandler which is Mia's older brother. Mia is a few years younger than Roan and Chandler. Roan and Mia have an incredible one night stand before Mia leaves for college, but Roan manages to screw up by leaving in the middle of the night without so much as a note. Several years later, their paths cross once again when Mia moves back home from College and that's where their story picks up.
I won't spoil the deliciousness for you... you'll have to one click this read to find out!

I loved this book! LK Collins sure knows how to right a steamy love scene! I admire how LK Collins described the characters with such detail! I wish the ending wasn't so rushed. I would have loved to see her go more into detail about Georgia and the girls, and Mia and Roan's relationship taking it to the next level. Hopefully more of that will be included in Chandler's story! Fantastic read all in all.

3.5 sexy stars!! Not only is Roan a hot dad but one hell of boyfriend!!

🔥This is Roan and Mia's love story....

Roan~ I am a single father of two young girls. One is a teenager now and damn if I am lost with what I am to do with her. Now my love life that's a whole other story. I mean it's non existent. My ex wife destroyed me and my girls. But one slip up from some time ago had came back in my life and I realize how much I actually enjoyed that slip up...did I mention that slip up is my best friends sister who is off limits?!?!!

Mia~ I can't believe I have to see Roan again after all this time. I still am effected by him and I do not want to be. My brother may kill me...

"I’m basically panting as a flurry of emotions roars through me as I come face to face with the perfect bastard again."

💭My Thoughts...

This is such a sexy love story!! I love the romance between the two characters. I think Chandler is hilarious and can't wait to read his story. My favorite part of this book is the integration of Roan, his daughters, and Mia. My heart broke for all of them when Georgia pulled the shit she did. Roan is such a good man and damn if he ain't sexy. And very skilled in the bedroom (or desk, woods, etc...)! The Roan I see in my head wasn't the Roan on the cover I had more a clean cut buff guy in a suit. I think I missed tattooed part, uggg! Still massive hottie!

This was a great book and I think with some tweaking could be a 5 star book. The writing was excellent. I think the beginning hooked me but then kinda fell a little. I was expecting this temper that I think was as bad as it seems. The whole Georgia reappearance I think got a little swept under the rug. And Mia seemed a little weak to me. The book was such an easy read that it took no time to read. I actually read pool side and it was perfection. But I did finish in my home because some parts made it a little too hot to be outside!! If you are looking for a single father who is perfection, a second chance romance, a real bromance, love, humor and a sexy/steamy read then look no further!!

A one night stand for Roan and Mia is a night that neither of them can forget. Mia is Roan's best friend and business partner's sister so she should have been off limits but it couldn't be helped. Years later and Roan has an ex wife and daughters who she abandon. He feels lost and needs a woman's advice. A father wanting to do the best for his girls with out putting his his foot in it. A nice romance, Roan was a wonderful guy, I really liked him.

LOVED this story about Roan and Mia! I'm not so sure that I would call Roan a bastard though. He has gown up in a tough situation where neither of his parents cared about him. Then he has found himself becoming a father himself at 18. He promises himself and his daughter that he's not going to be like his father. He marries Georgia and they have another daughter and their marriage isn't perfect but he loves her and tries to make things work, until Georgia walks out on all of them. She can't stand that he fights in a gym to release his tensions and he doesn't like that she drinks to excess. Eventually, she files for divorce and gives up her rights as a parent to the girls. Roan is raising them alone. He stops fighting and goes about the daily tasks of raising his girls. The only woman that peaks his interest is Mia, his business partner and best friend's sister.
Mia has been in love with Roan forever, it seems like. But he's never really given her the time of day. She is 9 years younger and that's is too much of a gap when they're younger. Not so much once she's going off to college and interns at their office. They have a one night only that neither of them can forget, even though they agree it's better that they do forget. Once Mia comes home from college, the attraction is undeniable.
Fate keeps throwing them together. First it's the interview with her brother and he insists Roan be there too. Then her brother keeps inviting both of them out for drinks. Roan makes sure that Mia gets home safe every time. He becomes like a protector. And Mia's brother thinks that Mia would be perfect to help Roan with his now teenage daughters. He's now caught a boy in the oldest's bedroom.
I loved the way this played out. Roan is extremely hard on himself because of the people who were supposed to love him kept leaving. His daughters and his best friend are the first to stick around. He feels he is broken and that no one will be able to love him for who he is. Mia proves him wrong. She accepts all of him because she loves the flaws and all. And he loves her because she asks nothing from him. I loved the dynamic between father and daughters. He made me chuckle at his frustration on how to handle a growing woman. And I loved the level of heat between Roan and Mia. They definitely burn up the pages! I can't wait to read the next one and find out who tames her brother's wild ways.

I can't express how much I loved this story line! I've read a lot of "brothers best friend hooks up with little sister" books-and I've got to say, this has been my favorite! It was so unique-but so realistic, that I really could see this being a movie.
I loved everything about Roan and Mia. Roan is left a single dad caring for two young girls when his alcoholic wife leaves him. He's distraught, but knows he has to be there to do everything for his little girls. He does exactly that-he gives up fighting and gets a real 9-5 job, and does well financially for the family. It may seem like Roan has picked his little family up after such a tragedy-but emotionally he's going ten different directions. He finds himself in bed with his now business partner and best friend's sister, Mia. Mia hadn't heard anything after their one night together-and took it at face value-he wasn't interested. When Mia moves back home and sees Roan again, their red hot romance that only lasted one night forces chemistry to boil over.
I loved Roan! He was such a family man but at the same time felt that he had no clue with what he was doing with two little girls. It was so precious to me to have him be so protective yet so exhausted because he didn't think he was doing well enough.
Mia was a tough character-she was sassy, and smart, and knows that she needs to keep on track with her career-not allow a one night stand to cloud her judgement again. As the burn between Roan and Mia is undoubtedly slow, we realize how well they fit together in each other's loved when they feel like they both shouldn't be in relationships yet. I really believe Roan and Mia make this whole book-they are totally hot together and you won't regret reading this! - By Victoria

I may be a bit biased at this point, and trust there's a definite reason for it, but The Perfect Bastard is another home run but this dynamic duo! Roan Reddick already carries a lot of negative baggage from his childhood, but when his wife leaves him and his girls with only a note, everything is only that much more magnified. So what does he do, he sleeps with his best friend's sister, and sneaks out in the middle of the night. Now several years later, Mia Cavalano is back, and Roan can't get her out of his head, even though he believes that he can offer her nothing. Mia decides that she's just going to concentrate on her career, but see, they have a spark that engulfs everything in it's path, and it's not too long before it explodes all over again. But will Roan finally let himself have some happiness, or be destined to be The Perfect Bastard forever?! I swear to all that is holy that I spent quite a bit of this story wanting to junk punch Roan for his attitude. I get that he has issues to resolve, but I kept screaming, "Pull your balls out of your pocket Roan!" See, Mia was my girl, and I had her back 100%! This is how talented that LK Collins is, I'm having a hard time distinguishing them as characters in a book, instead of real life friends. I believe because they are a female/male duo, the stories are so much more realistic, as we get both male/female POVs, and I'm fully hooked! Not to mention the extreme heat that always threatens to consume my kindle in flames, and the perfectly placed humor that keeps me laughing hard. I will never not be waiting impatiently for their next masterpiece to come out, so while I wait, let me just HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Perfect Bastard to ALL!

The Perfect Bastard is the type of book you grab when you want a fast paced, emotion-packed story. Mia and Roan give you a bit of everything that will keep you entertained. After a one night neither can forget, he left her when he “realized” he was no good for her. Fast forward to a time they come face to face again and the sparks fly all over the place.

I loved Roan, he is not the “bastard” I expected. I see where Mia would feel that way, since he left her, but he is a great businessman and a wonderful father to two teen daughters. He is struggling to keep it together for them with their mother gone. He does have a temper, though, and that is one source of his problems.

Mia is feisty and smart and definitely someone I like, although there was one time where she jumped to conclusions without talking first and I didn’t like that about her.

I loved the idea of having a single father raising teen girls. The dynamic was interesting and I liked the way that was done. I also liked the girls and how they reacted to their mother. It showed their maturity and also the feelings they went through when dealing with the separation.

Chandler, now that’s one character that I definitely want more of. Mia’s brother and Roan’s best friend is the eternal bachelor and I would love to see how he fares when faced with a woman who doesn’t take to his charms like he is used to.

All in all, this book made me laugh, it gave me the feels, and it definitely kept my attention until the very end.

LK Collins one of them authors that I tell everyone to just one click without even having to read a blurb. You know you are always going to get something great and completely unique when an LK Collins book lands on your kindle!!

The Perfect Bast**d was no exception. The concept of this book was so refreshing. Roan’s wife leaves him with two young children, she just ups and goes. Roan thinks that is it for him, he won’t let another women ever do that to him or his girls again.

Mia is Roans brothers best friend. She has always been in love with him and after working closely together during her internship, they given in to their ever growing electricity but Roan leaves in the middle of the night and Mia goes off to college.

When Mia returns years later, Roan is faced with his past and Mia’s feeling come crashing back. I don’t think neither were prepared for what was about to happen or what could happen once they were in a room together.

Mia was such a strong and independent women, an amazing heroin and one that Roan should be blessed with to have help him with his life. Roan could be a little sod but I completely understand his reluctance to let someone in his life and why he was so hard on himself. He has two head strong girls to contend with and both at an age to give them best of them grey hairs!!

This book was heart breaking yet heart-warming, funny yet sad. I laughed, I cried, my heart pounded and this book swallowed me whole.

At the risk of repeating myself, another phenomenal of a book! Loved every word, sentence and chapter. Completely hooked from beginning to end.

Cannot recommend this book enough and cannot wait for Chandlers book, he is Mia’s brother and boy, I’m already excited about it.

This was the first book I have read from this author, and wow.....was I impressed! Such a fantastic tale of falling in love with your best friend's sister as a divorced father of two pre-teen daughters.....and trying to navigate that situation! Roan had been through so much in his life already, and when Mia re-entered his life, it forced him to deal with feelings that he wasn't sure he was ready to deal with. They had always had a connection, as evident by their one night together many years ago.....but Roan was still dealing with the ramifications of his wife leaving his family. And both of them were scared as to how Chandler would react to them being together. Yet, once they finally gave in to their feelings.....holy smokes. They were incredible together! I also loved how Mia was so considerate of Roan's daughters and their feelings of the situation. She handled all those situations with such grace (well...maybe all of them)....and I think her actions towards his daughters definitely helped Roan fall further in love with her. Roan & Mia were just absolutely perfect together - they definitely balanced each other out and brought out the best in one another!

I really hope everyone takes a chance on Roan & Mia's story....it was great! And I'm so excited to read more about Chandler, as I think he was an interesting character that definitely was a scene-stealer!

A phenomenal story filled with passion and romance!

The Perfect Bastard is the story of Roan and Mia. A “forbidden” love that they can’t seem to control. Neither wanted Mia’s brother and Roan’s best friend to find out about their time together. Even after years apart, an intense spark still ignites between them. Mia is determined to prove to Roan that no matter your past everybody still deserves love and happiness.

The Perfect Bastard is a well-written story with characters that are well developed and engaging. LK Collins has a talent and gift in creating an engaging and attention-capturing story. Definitely another phenomenal story by LK Collins. I was completely hooked on this story from the very beginning. It was hard when I had to put the book down. This author really brought to life the struggles and difficulties that single parent homes can have. It was a nice touch to see that even though the children weren’t perfect and rebelled, that a unique and nice relationship developed between them and Mia. I did want to strangle their mom for making things more difficult for the children. There were real life issues and solutions that happened all throughout the book. A job well done and keeping things real. I look forward to reading more by LK Collins.

I recommend The Perfect Bastard to anyone that enjoys a passionate romance that will hook you right from the start and give you all the good feels.

I’ve read so many LK Collins books that I usually do in expecting a TON of hot and dirty sex and a small storyline. Well, don’t worry! There is still a TON of that hot and dirty sex but the Perfect Bastard has much more of a storyline then I’m used to with LK Collins! I enjoyed it, to be honest. I get a little burnt out just reading sex scenes so this was a nice surprise! You’d also expect a perfect bastard with that as the title but there was a heartwarming piece to this book. It really made it a surprising read for me!

I also have a thing for single father stories… and Roan has 2 children… and not just children but a preteen daughter and teenage daughter (poor guy)! I also really enjoy siblings’ best friends’ story and that’s what we get here! A ton of genre mash ups! This seemed like a short novel… I could have handled a bit more of an ending. I think the ending could have been a TON better with some additional info, it seemed rush. It sounds like we’ll be getting a Chandler book too so maybe we’ll get some updates but I really just wanted to feel more of a finality or an ending with this book.

I received an ARC of this series with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

L.K. Collins you've done it again I think Roan is perfect, not a bastard though. Roan is a amazing loving man done wrong. Roans wife left him with two small kids to raise all alone. With eventually getting divorce papers and papers where she signed her rights away on their girls. One night he bumps into Mia and one thing leads to another and they have a one night stand before she leaves for college. Not to ever bring it up again, but they both thought of it often.

You see bumping into Mia or Mia bumping into Roan is inevitable when she moves back home. Her brother is Chandler, Roan bestfriend and business partner. Roan and Chandler go out for drinks and Chandler brings Mia along. What neither of them know is how much the other wants them.

Roan is so frustrated over his daughters and the issues at home he decides to take advantage of the situation and take his daughters camping for the weekend. While camping Mia and Chandler show up but Chandler doesn't like camping so he goes off to bed early, he ask Mia are you coming and she said no I'm going for a walk and Roan joins her. They walk for awhile and talk finally Mia has enough guts to tell him just how she feels. Does Roan give in and take what he wants? Does Georgia ever show back up? How does this affect his girls? Does this affect Chandler and Roan friendship and business? Well I guess you will just have too one click and find out.

LK Collins is one of my all time favorite authors, I never have to 2nd guess whether to buy her books, and this one was no different. It has a little bit of everything in there, friends/ enemies to lover as well as second chance at love. Four years ago, Mia and Roan hooked up for one amazing night while she was interning at his and her brother’s firm. Now finished with college, Mia returns home, still angry at the way Roan left her.
They both have unresolved feelings about that night as it turns out. Roan is consumed with guilt, because of how he ran off and because he still wants her.
He has issues with his ex-wife and an unresolved hang-up from when he was a kid so he doesn’t feel like he deserves another chance. Mia doesn’t care. One look, one innocent touch from Roan and she knows she’s not over him and never will be.
I loved so much about this book and don’t want to give any spoilers away, suffice it to say, there’s a great story with a ton of steamy action. Looking forward to Chandler’s story.

I am always up for reading anything by LK Collins and like her past books she totally captivated my attention with this one. Reading about second chance romance are a bit of a favourite for me and even though I get frustrated at the misunderstandings and missed chances it just makes it that much sweeter when things come together. This was a brilliant 4.5 star read.

With a title like “The Perfect Bastard’ you could be mistaken for thinking that you are going to dislike the male lead but that is so far form the truth, Roan Reddick is yet another male lead that is perfectly written by LK Collins.

After a one night stand Mia and Roan are so hot for one another but the timing is off and for more than just one reason. The chemistry and connection between them is jumps from the page and you cant help but love them together.

This is more than a second chance romance with other tropes covered such as brothers best friend and single dad. The characters were extremely likable and it is easy to get lost in there story. Another hit by LK Collins.

The Perfect Bastard is a perfect combination of best friends little sister/single dad/and friends to lovers!! Roan has never had an easy life. He had to fend for himself as a kid and was always fighting his way through life, figuratively and literally. His best gifts and what he lived for were his two daughters. The three of them went through a life changing loss when the girls were younger and it was just the three of them for years. Roan had the support of his best friend, Chandler. Chandler and Mia went through their own life changing loss. They have a close bond because of it. Roan and Mia always had a spark between them but it was never the right time and too taboo to act on it despite their true feelings. Mia, a strong and independent woman, was ready to fight for what she wanted and her true feelings despite the risk and fall out. Roan and Mia's relationship was explosive and hot!! Things were falling into place just right until Roan's past threatened to tear them apart. The Perfect Bastard is a fun read with hot, steamy scenes with a few twists and turns. I loved Roan and Mia together they were a perfect match! I loved the relationship Roan had with his girls even though it wasn't always easy and the relationship Mia built with them. While I liked the ending I wanted more. I wanted a snippet of inside Mia's head at the end!!

A stand-alone book that is part of a series, The Perfect Bastard brings lots of heat and heart. Mia and Roan have a one night stand shortly after Roan's wife abandons him and their two young daughters. Roan decides for them both that Mia deserves better than his messed up life, and leaves during the night without a word. Did I mention Mia is Roan's best friend, Chandler's, little sister? He doesn't need to ever know, right?

Fast forward a few years and Mia has finished her engineering degree and has a great job offer in her old home town. The only problem is how to avoid Roan, even though no man she has met since could compare. Roan finds out from Chandler that Mia is home. She is the only woman since his wife who he has feelings for, but he still thinks she deserves better. Their chemistry is off the charts and the inevitable happens (often and all over!). Can they learn to be honest about their feelings for each other and make this second chance romance last forever? Enjoy reading The Perfect Bastard to find out.

A Review of The Perfect Bastard by LK Collins

Roan and Mia - 5+++++ stars

Oh, how Ms. Collins can write a set of characters! She had me hooked with the first lines of Roan, a man that is and has been broken, but yet knows his many flaws. My heart actually hurt for him and the things he went through before we ever met him. And, oh how I wanted to bitch slap Georgia for what she did -- I'll leave it at that, since I don't want to spoil the book for others. There are soooo many good parts to this story, but there are some really heartbreaking ones as well. I always know that when I pick up a book by LK Collins that I am buckling in for one emotional roller coaster of a read and that my heart will be touched, sometimes broken, but always put back together. Please pick this one up as soon as possible. You DON'T want to miss it, I promise.

If you are looking for an intense, exciting and unexpected romance book, then this is absolutely the book for you!

As soon as I saw the blurb, I knew I had to read this beauty, as it just had that hint of 'don't go there' romance, you know, the one we all have a think about at some point, but know we shouldn't. This book took that to the next level, and really made it both super hot and sweet.

The characters are brilliant and really fun to get to know. The author gave us enough depth to really make them interesting and realistic, making it very easy to connect with both them and the story,

I felt like the pace was perfect for the storyline and it really enhanced the exciting rush that the author gave us.

Overall, this was a very exciting read and one I highly recommend!

You know when LK Collins produces a book it’s going to spectacular! The Perfect Bastard is another fantastic, 100% steam-worthy romance that must be added to your collection!

A one night stand ends up being a night hard to forget for Mia and Roan.

Mia and Roan have undeniable chemistry that LK Collins perfectly writes in her steamy scenes. You can almost feel the connection from the pages it’s so good. Mia throws his world upside down, rocking his boat with her love and empowerment. She shows him the way to happiness, proving to him that everyone deserves love no matter what your past has given you.

I loved how this novel capitalizes on the males emotional struggles of brokenness, feelings of unloved from a marriage gone wrong and especially the bond between father-daughter relationships. I relate so much with this book, that I feel more connected with Roan and love him even more.

Oh, be still my heart! This story!

I didn't know what to expect from this book. It's not my normal genre but I loved it. This was the first time I've read a book by Ms. Collins and I wasn't disappointed.

Mia had crushed on Roan for years and when an opening came up to intern at Roan and her brother's engineering company she jumped at the chance. Flirting all summer long they finally gave into temptation and slept together. Then Roan split in the middle of the night never contacting her again. Mia was no wilting flower, she went off to college and landed her dream engineering job. But her job transferred her back to Boston and put her directly in the path of Roan again. What's the likelihood of her running in to him again?!

When Roan abandon Mia in the middle of the night it was in fear that he was becoming too attached. After his wife walked out on him and their two daughters it left him in a bad place, so instead of leading Mia on he just left. When Mia shows back up in his life he just can't let her go. Then someone shows up from his past to complicate things will Mia give up on him?

Wow!!! Just WOW!!!! I can't believe that It took me this long to read LK Collins, I don't know what is wrong with me!

Mis and Roan story was amazing, powerful and very emotional. It took me to real places, real problems, real people dealing with life.

Roan had the dream come true, a wife, two daughters. Until his demons won the battle and put him in a delicates situation.

Mia never forgot that one night with the sexy man that it was Roan, his passion, his fire and how he worshiped her only for one night.

After years, Mia has the opportunity to come back to home and to see Roan again. But he's not ready for her, bot ready to admit that he never forgot about that night with the second woman that ever made him feel alive.

I wanted more of this book, I become a greedy reader with LK Collins, I want more! I love when an author can make me feel happy, sad and hot in seconds, going through emotions and to read all night and morning!
I can't wait to read more of this PERFECT duo.
