Dystopia: A Dark Future Unimagined
NEW MOSCOW
Surrounded by fragments of charred human flesh, Nikolay finds himself contemplating his escape from an existence he deems worse than death. New Moscow is a wasteland where nothing grows, and even though there’s no way in and no way out, Nikolay believe he can be the exception; but he’ll find it difficult to escape a city where military tanks line the streets and where the punishment for an attempted escape is death, not to mention the frightening, ghostly beings that weave their way through the city, ripping the human inhabitants to pieces.
THE SACRIFICE
The Linage, a group of frightening, demonic, supernatural beings have come knocking at Quinn’s door demanding valuables to add to the annual sacrifice. Everyone knows withholding valuables is punishable by death; but when Quinn discovers a mind shattering secret about the mysterious strangers, the whole town is turned upside down and things will never be the same.
THE UNNECESSARIES
In the heart of Left Africa lies a mechanism for murdering the unworthy. It is an enormous, concrete building called Purgatory where people go to die. If by the age of twenty-one, a citizen has not proven they can contribute to the ongoing survival of the only habitable continent left on earth, they are brought to Purgatory to be slaughtered. But Gregory Nocks, who has a niece turning twenty-one, cannot accept her fate, and embarks upon a dangerous journey to discover the truth about Left Africa and its leader.
THE PROPOSITION
Death has done the unthinkable. He’s given Glen Mathews a second shot at life after an attempted suicide that would have been successful had he not intervened. However, there’s a catch. He must agree to accompany death on his nightly run and witness the inner workings of Death’s job. Shocked and horrified at what he sees, Glen is faced with a decision that will seal his fate for good.
