Alien anatomy
This is the first read I’ve had that simply didn’t make alien males a larger version of human men. It was nice to see an author finally step out of the box and use a bit of imagination when it came to alien anatomy.
My understanding is this was originally presented as a serial. In fact, started with the first “book,” before I realized it was actually just a single chapter. Thankfully I have kindle unlimited. Otherwise I would have been livid to find I’d just paid whatever it’s listed as for a single chapter that led nowhere. Personally, I think labeling each chapter as a book is misleading.
Anyway, the alien anatomy was awesome. The sex was great at first but started to wear thin as the story line progressed. It was just a little too much for the amount of plot. I suppose if you were buying the chapters individually and spaced the reads out, it might not have been to tiring. As it were, each chapter has several sex scenes and very small incidents to move it forward.
I don’t know. It was an okay read. I’d definitely like to read more books that don’t have canned human male anatomy. However, this book definitely has me sexed out.

"Harem Ship Saga" is a collection of linked erotic novellas following the raunchy antics of Capt. Kitty Black, interstellar smuggler, as she fights the good fight while having sex with just about anything that moves.
And, as space flights can be lonely, she has built up an onboard harem to take the edge off as required.
There is a lot of sex, often followed by more of the same and it is noticeable that most of the grammatical and spelling errors occur just as things steam up.
Surprisingly, to me at least, there is actually a mostly coherent plot and if the author had given it the same amount of attention as the fornication it would have been a better book.
Two elements bothered me, the fact that her onboard harem are slaves (not really, but this is not immediately clear), and a very specific rape scene which should have been toned down or left out.
Still, I made it to the end and kinda liked it.
2.5 Stars, raised to 3 Stars.
