it's not that i JUST realised it but it just really felt it from the opponent's side - kageyama is able to elicit the same scared feeling that karasuno feels when oikawa/ushiwaka/atsumu go to serve. he is on their league as well

This book is about a volleyball player named Haikyu that wants to become the best volleyball player in Japan! He's trying to win nationals, which is the biggest volleyball tournament in Japan. They have to beat the #2 team first though. I liked this book because I've read all the issues so far, and I love the series and volleyball, so I gave it five stars. I would recommend this book to people that like manga and volleyball.

4 stars - great to see Nishinoya and Kinnoshita's hard work pay off when they cut Atsumu's serving off at one. Also nice to see a bit more background to Inarizaki as a team - again I love the dynamic between the Miya twins but am very middling on how much I like them as characters. Kita is a great captain too, very much reliable in the same way Daichi is. Nearly teared up when I got to the panel of him receiving his uniform. Also Kageyama with the back-to-back service aces!

What an emotional ending!!
This was an *excellent* volume!! I didn't realize how amazing Kita was until I sat down and read this volume! I am a fan!!! (Need to go look at some merch today!!) I truly enjoyed getting to know him more! He's such a great character and just KITAAAAA-SANNNNNNNN!! <3 <3 <3
That was also a great backstory about Noya! I had to laugh when Asahi asked him along the lines of this happened in your past life, right?" SO funny! (It definitely didn't sound like the Noya we know!)
Seeing Tsukki in this volume is extremely gratifying! He has come a long way and just the more I read about him, the more I love his character.
I also really like how ALL Karasuno comes together and definitely one of my favorite parts is when Asahi encourages Noya! Also, Suga coming out on the court saying how they are going to win this in two straight sets! Oh, and another favorite part was when Hinata and Kindaichi had almost the EXACT same expressions when reacting to Kageyama's service ace!
A volume packed with A LOT of feels, but also a lot of action! Very very very good!

The game isn't over yet, but Karasuno wins this volume with Nishinoya's revenge, Tsukki's usual bitchiness and Kageyama's baby ignorance innocence.

I really like what Nishinoya's grandpa taught him about fear! Wish I could always have that mindset...😬
Overall, this volume was a tiny bit slow for me. There were plenty of good parts, but I'm ready to be done with Inarizaki. The fact that their cheering section booed their own player gets under my skin. 😠 (Not that I'd want them to boo the other team, of course.)
Favorite moments:
-"Kageyama the Kalm".
-The flashback with Inarizaki's captain. He's not as annoying as some of his teammates. I might even say he's...likeable?
-Asahi's little motivational speech.
-The end part!

This latest release really superb!! We got to know more about Nishinoya past and Miya's Twins and his fox captain really stole the spotlight. I really love this arc than other arc, just remain me about karasuno vs aoba joshai arc 😆😆😆❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💕
