Oh, I just love these cowboy brothers… Claiming His Cowgirl is Vin and Lauren’s story.
Vincent Rhone has been second guessing himself for almost 20 years since he pushed Lauren Kensington out of his life. Determined to give her every chance at happiness and not be “stuck” waiting for Vin to get his life together, Vin thought he did the right thing. But now Lauren is coming home—home for Drannon and Lacy’s wedding. They haven’t seen each other for years and it’s about time the chickens have come home to roost…
Lauren found safety and peace in Crawley Creek when she was an abused and neglected little girl. She also thought she found love, until Vin pushed her away. But she promised Drannon she’d come home for his wedding to Lacy. Three days—just three days. She could handle being around her adopted “family” for that long and then return to her nice life in Arkansas. Right?
Oh, damn, I love a second chance romance. Even twenty years later, Vin and Lauren are still connected—first love has a tendency to do that. And, jeez, the tension between these two is palpable. But when they are together—holy hotness factor. You can’t help but hope they put the past behind them and get back together—they smolder… I can’t wait to read Hawke’s story next! ~ Missy, 4.5 stars

Second chances and cowboys are kinda like all my Christmases come at once, if I am honest. Which I am. And this third installment in the Crawley Creek series is the bow on the biggest present under the tree.
It's been a while since Lauren Kensington has returned to the ranch where she found love and family. After having her heart broken by Vinnie, she left North Dakota and forged a new life for herself. But she never really got over the boy that broke her heart.
Vincent Rhone has made some bad decisions, not the least of which was sending Lauren away 18 years ago. It's his one regret, and he's never stopped thinking about the girl he let get away.
When a wedding brings her back to town, and a disaster keeps her close, they get their second chance. This time, Vin is determined to prove that Lauren's heart is safe in his hands.
Vin and Lauren, so hot and so perfect for each other! I really enjoyed this book. In fact, it's my favorite of this series so far. It had all my favorite elements. Cowboys, obviously. Lots of hope and love. Some very sexy times. And a touch of humor.
Ms. King did an excellent job bringing everyone together as they prep for Drannon and Lacy's wedding, all while battling Mother Nature. It was fun to check in with the couples from the first two books, and get some updates on the boys that, I hope, are yet to come—Hawke and Bran.
There's great emotional balance in this book, and it would seem there are some potentially heart-breaking times to come as this series continues. I can't wait to continue with these cowboys and their cowgirls. I hope Santa brings them to me soon! ~ Beth, 4.5 stars
An incredibly sweet Romance, Lori King puts just the right amount of heat in this Second Chance Romance. I love how the Characters of her Crawley Creek stories have such depth, the connections they forge throughout the series is very heart gripping. This story of Vin and Lauren is a tender reminder of first love and the heartbreak one goes through, as well as the reconnection years later, with a twist. The Crawley Creek family is made up of a mixture of foster kids and all the emotions of abused kids and their feelings of being lost and found tumbled all together. This amazing group of people will have you looking for more as you get to know each and every character. I recommend this to all the Cowboy loving readers and those lovers of the HEA! Well Done!🌸
"A Super Amazing series!" If you love cowboys and sweet plus touching stories then this book and series is for you! Each book in this series has been amazing!. It started with a couple Abe and Sera who had so much love to give only they could not have children of their own. So they started fostering lost and abused children on their ranch. Years later four of their foster children brought Crawley ranch now they want to keep the legacy going. Not only do the young men want to take in foster children they also want the ranch to be a safe heaven for ones with PTSD. One of the foster brothers has found his true love Lacy. They plan a wedding at the ranch and have invited Lauren to the wedding. Lauren Lauren had been taken in by Abe and Sera when she was a teenager. Now she works for a private funded First aid team. She also caters events with edible Artwork. Vin who is one of the foster brothers had been in love with Lauren for years. Now that she was back he is determined to win her love. It seems Crawley Ranch is not only a home for lost souls it is also a home where true love meets!. You will love this sweet and touching series with just a dash of suspense. This is a must read book and series!
Lori King give another stunning love story to the family of Crawley Creek!
Vi was the first of many children taken in at Crawley Creek as a toddler. His life was literally changed when Abe and Sera Crawley took him in as a foster child. Their love is the only love he has ever known... Until Lauren comes to stay. Her sweet innocence and naivety are what draws Vin to her and yet causes him to push her away.
Lauren has grown up knowing she loved Vin differently than she did her other "brothers" at Crawley Creek. When she gives herself to Vin after her 18th birthday, Vin is torn. He wants her but knows he can't keep her. He has a choice to leave and make a life in the military or go to jail. His decision was what was best for her at that time. So now almost two decades later he wants to try and convince her to give him another chance. Not knowing Lauren has never gotten over him and still loves him.
Ms King has once again grabbed her readers by the heart strings and sucked us into her world at Crawley Creek. A world full of lost hope and second chances.
A must have for any person with a love of love. 5 Stars all the way! I received this book as a gift and this is my unbiased opinion and review.
The third in the series concentrates on second chances, which I love. Vin made a decision twenty years ago that he has regretted ever since. Now he has a chance to put it right, and maybe get his very own HEA.
This series is a like a warm blanket you pull over to snuggle down. The characters are familiar and the new ones quickly become favourites. The humour and love are rampant and are the mainstay of the book, which makes it wonderful for a sappy romantic like myself.
I loved how Lori intertwined the new and old storylines, bringing about a hot and steamy romance, whilst getting updates on stories already told, preparing for new stories and don't forget, battling Mother Nature.
With some definite smokin' scenes, this is guaranteed to warm you up. Definitely recommended.

I was really looking forward to Vin's story. It didn't dissapoint. I was very much into the Crawley Creek world. The drama. The hope. The faith. The love. The passion. On to the next chapter.....
The only thing keeping this review from being a 5 star is that the story stopped at 87%. I always feel jipped when this happens.
I really enjoyed this story! This is the third book in the Crawley Creek series. I really loved Vins story. This author does a great job keeping the story new and old going. I feel like the Crawley Creek men are not only strong alphas but also brave survivors. Going into foster care is not easy for any child, the lucky ones end up in Crawley Creek.
I liked this book, but there were too many couples featured.
I enjoyed Vin and Lauren, but I feel like they didn't get their own book because there was too many other things going on. I understand the author wanting to set up the next books, however, we didn't need to see POVs from anyone but Vin and Lauren in this book.
These two definitely had chemistry 20 years ago and it hadn't changed one bit. The story was great, but would rather had more of the spotlight on them.
This is the third book in this series and they are better read in order. Lauren Kensington found her refuge at Crawley Creek as a foster child. She had lots of first at Crawley Creek including her first love and her first heartbreak. Vin was also a foster child at Crawley Creek. Abe and Sera did so much for him. He has had his fair share of mistakes and regrets. His biggest regret was pushing Lauren away. Lauren will be coming back to Crawley Creek for Drannon and Lacy’s wedding. Lauren has always wondered about Vin. This is the first time has been back where she will stay any really length of time. Vin is nervous with her coming back. His greatest wish is to get a second chance with her. Wil Vin get his wish. Lauren has never really gotten over Vin either. When the two get caught in a storm together they are finally forced to clear the air about what and why happened all those years ago. Will this lead to the possibility of a second chance? This series pulls me in further with each new book I read in it. Each child that came to Crawley Creek had a not so great childhood. Some worse than others. Abe and Sera gave them all the love a child could need. This book is about two of the fosters that came to Crawley Creek. The difference was the Vin stayed and Sarah came and went many times. I felt for both of them. Vin had his reasons for pushing Lauren away and felt that he was doing what was best for her. Lauren held a grudge against him for since it happened. While she wasn’t sure he meant what he said he still said them. I like second chance romances and this was a great one. I look forward to reading more by Lori in the future.

We are back again with the third instalment from the amazing Crawley creek series, and this time its Vin and Laurens turn and you are all in for a treat.
Lauren Kensington had once found her refuge at Crawley Creek as a foster child after her turbulent time with her mother. Lauren had never thought about love whilst she was there at Crawley Creek but she found it non the less and had her heart broken at the same time. She has spent almost two decades creating a new and very successful life for herself far from the wilds of North Dakota, but she gets drawn right back in for a family wedding, which soon leaves her thinking why? Especially when she comes across her one true love, feelings that once where trampled on are soon reignited.
Vincent Rhone has had a tough life his path has not been an easy one at all, but he has been able overcome allot to become the person he is today. But he has one serious regret, a big one from his past where he pushed his love Lauren away and out of his life for good. He had always thought that he was protecting her from his true wild self. But how would she react when he opens up and tells her that his deepest desire is to hold her once again?
Can she be his redemption once again?
Could this be there second chance on love when they are forced to lean on one another when nature chooses to strikes with a gale force, will these two lovers finally confront their past. Or will they cause one another more heartache, and grief. or will this cowboy finally man up and be able to claim his forever cowgirl?
This is for sure my favourite book from the series so far. I fell in love with the characters and the story line the ups and downs of what was happening, it was like I was a part of the story or someone watching from afar as this love unfolded once again.
Vin was an amazing character he shone right through and captured my heart as im sure he will for many others, he is a man with many faults but he has worked many of them out and is now a better version of himself than he ever was and could have been before. his emotions through out the story were spot on and the way Lori King touched on his PTSD was genius I found myself so emotional so sad.
Now Lauren she is a bit of a tough cookie she has a past of pain and heart ache but can she forget it all and move on and up? I no she projects toughness but you can sense her raw emotions which of course Lori does so well. You can sense and feel her struggle but as well as you can sense what she truly needs and that is Vin, yes he was an idiot but then don't we all make mistakes?
I loved how we got to interact with the prior characters as well as some awesome new ones I can already sense the next brother who is going to fall and fall hard no deeply in love.
My most favourite part was when the first crossed paths once again the electric raw passion and anger of lost love between them was spot on.
There was nothing at all I didn't love in this book but I cant help feeling jealous of Lauren she gets this smoking hot cowboy.... sighs a reviewer can dream cant she Lori?
Lauren Kensington once found love at Crawley Creek only to have her heart broken and she’s spent nearly two decades creating a successful life for herself far from North Dakota but a family wedding draws her back where feelings she thought were burned out are reignited in this sensational romance.
He’s walked a tough path but Vincent Rhone has overcome his obstacles to become a better man but pushing Lauren out of his life is one regret he’s not sure he can fix and readers can’t help but empathize with these strong, captivating characters as the potent emotional turmoil that flows from the pages and grips the heart as Lauren and Vincent are confronted with the chance to overcome the past. The chemistry is sizzling, which is to be expected since we are talking about the Crawley Creek cowboys, with anticipation and suspense building throughout the story since Lauren isn’t making in any way easy for Vincent to claim his cowgirl and then there’s some added excitement and drama due to the wedding preparations and a major weather issue.
Once again there’s never a dull moment to be found when you visit Crawley Creek and Lauren and Vincent’s story was touching in several different ways so you get the full experience of being part of Crawley Creek.

I was pulled right into this story. This story contains heartbreak, pain, second chances, secrets, and suspense.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Forget Me Knot (Crawley Creek, #1) Rough Ride Romeo (Crawley Creek #2)
This is Lauren and Vincent's story. Lauren and Vincent were together years ago but Vincent broke it off. Now Lauren is back in town for Vin’s brother’s wedding. Can they get a long for a the few days she is back in town? Vincent knows with Lauren back in town he has one shot at proving he still wants her and loves her. Can he prove that he wants her forever this time? With the history they have it will be even harder for Vincent to prove he is after forever. Can Lauren trust Vincent not to break her heart all over again? When disaster strikes and Lauren steps up to help Vincent knows he has to stick close to her. He can’t have her getting hurt and be off alone. Can they re-connect and find love again? Will Vin finally be able to have Lauren forever this time?
I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

This is the third book in the Crawley Creek Series. It is hard for me to say which book of the three would be my favorite. Each one touches on the life of not only the focus couple, but allows us to keep up with each couple and character involved.
This particular book shows us that sometimes life can actually realign and allow us to have our second chances. Lauren wan't sure if she would be able to face the one man that she has always loved, but thought that she would never be able to love again. Not wanting to face that fear head on, but knowing that she had to attend her brother Drannon's wedding she decided to swallow her feelings and head to the one place that has always been her true North.
Vincent knew that they way he ended things with Lauren so many years ago was wrong. There were many days that he longed to be able to make it up to her and to right that wrong. But, the fear of her turning him away was just to much. He was watching as each of his brothers was finding their happily ever afters, but had his already come along and he missed his chance. If you asked Vin, then the answer to that question was YES.
The thing that makes this story as well as the first two so wonderful is that even though each of the characters involved has had extreme loss, heartache, hardships, and hurdles to overcome, they did not let that alter the individuals that they have become. In fact it is what seems to fuel their strengths. Now, add into the mix that we are talking about four very sexy cowboys that lead us into a very dramatic and sexy romance story then just WOW!!!. I mean really what warm blooded female doesn't want to read a book with not only one sexy alpha cowboy, but four of them.
Lori King has a way of "roping" us in to the story that allows us to forget the outside world and become completely focused on what we are reading, and that there is what makes this story as well as the first two so much more. Plus, we get to follow the romance that keeps building between our other brothers and their lucky ladies, which gives us a little longer with them, because I don't know about you, but I tend to suffer from somewhat of an anxiety when I have to let go of my books. Its as if I can't bare the thought of the story being over and having to put the book down and go back to the real world.
So the point of all this, yep I have one, you must allow yourself the opportunity to fall in love with these four sexy cowboys and their lives on the Crawley Creek Ranch.
Like: I love second chances. I have my own, so they care close to my heart. I enjoyed reading more about the Crawley Creek gang. The fact that they didn’t immediately fall back into each other’s arms was a nice change. I was enthralled watching the relationship progresses.
I was also excited to see how Lori worked in the new character to the ranch.
From the book: “Jeanette, please. My flight was on time, and the drive didn’t take as long as I anticipated. I am sorry if my early arrival is an imposition.”
Dislike: Couldn’t find one thing to dislike.
Feel: The romance made me smile as the love was all over the place. I was happy most of the time and then I was filled with dread and sadness at the twist.
I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Vincent messed up when he was a kid he pushed away the woman he loved because he thought it would be better for her without him. 18 years and allot of hard times later he still can't forget the woman hes loved since he was 8 years old, but away from him shes made a life for herself.
Lauren lost her love, so she put her entire focus into her career and for 18 years she survived, but never forgot. Now back at the ranch where it all started and where she once found refuge she'll see him again and if shes gonna survive it she'll have to harden her heart or risk losing it again.
As a kid you always think you know what's best, but hind sight often shows you how wrong you were, and Vincent has seen it all too clear. Can he make up for what he did wrong in the past?
Lauren has been living, but she hasn't really had a life she's really enjoyed. She is a strong woman and when she does something she does it all the way.
These two have their ups and downs, but along the way you can see just how much they needed each other. I enjoyed seeing their story as they came together.
Throughout we also see the other characters we've come to love throughout the series and see more of their stories unfold. As well as getting glimpses of who will be getting their stories told next! Great addition to the series!
The Crawley Creek Ranch stories continue to Fascinate!!
Lauren was a sometimes member of the Crawley Creek Ranch crew. Her mom was abusive, but could put on a good show at times and would get Lauren returned to her home. Our four “brothers” also became her brothers, except Vin who was so much more. When Vin messed up and his choice was join the military or go to jail he broke Laurens heart by sending her away – and she stayed away except for funerals and weddings.
Lauren returns to Crawley Creek for the upcoming wedding, and immediately feels like she is back where she belongs. Her heart has never gotten over the betrayal from Vin. Vin know he has messed up and hopes this can be an opportunity for a second chance.
This story exemplifies the meaning of family; whether from the same parents or by choice. The possibility of the relationship between Lauren and Vin is both heart-warming and explosive. The gathering of the entire family and working through any trials is excellent reading!!
I read these stories mostly out-of-order, which did not detract from them at all! Having read later stories, when I went back to read earlier stories I felt I understood even more importance of the events – and each story exhibits that sense of family that makes this a stellar series.
**I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book**
This is one of my favorite series, this installment doesn't disappoint. The stories in this series are about second chances, forgiveness, family and love. It doesn't hurt that they are about dreamy cowboys.
One of the things the author does very well is build strong characters with real characteristics, flaws and emotions. While each installment of this series is about one particular member of the Crawley Creek family, the story for each of the other characters continues to build - I love seeing this.
This is a wonderful story that has been built upon from the previous books. While each book can be read as a stand-alone, I recommend reading them from the beginning - there are a few story arcs - to gain the full impact of these characters and their backgrounds.
This is truely a terrific story from a great series. The stories are all well told with great characters and plenty of romance, a little suspense, and plenty of dreamy cowboys. I'm looking forward to reading what happens next.
To have love and not lose it but simply push them away is more than a heart should ever be put through.. But for Lauren this was only the final nail in her coffin. She like the others at Crawley creek have not had it easy at all but in the mist of a storm she finds her place in the world at Crawley creek and in the arms of a sexy cowboy who is also a playboy.. But she knows he is the one so she risks it and in the end he leaves. Oh man I wanted to love and hate and love again Vincent for what he did to Lauren. She leaves in order find her place and heal her heart..eighteen years later She come back only for the wedding of her brother Drannon to Lacy. Afraid to see Vincent or see him happy she is determined to avoid him at all cost. But Vincent has ideas of his own.. See he left to grow up and pay for mistakes he made and truly regrets leaving her. and will do anything to get her back. No matter how these two have an undeniable love and it ignites. But will there be an them or no...
Crawley Creek is a haven, and for many it has been the source of painful memories too. No one knows this better than the Vin Rhone.
Abandoned as a toddler, Vin was the very first foster child taken in by Abe and Sera Crawley and the deep seated loss he feels at their passing is only surmounted by the loss of his one true love, 18 years ago.
When Lauren returns to Crawley Creek for yet another major event, she is plague by hurt and anger at the ease with which Vin threw away their love, so when forces of nature ensure that they are thrown together, she has nowhere to hide.
Claiming His Cowgirl is a jam-packed story full of failed wedding plans, natural disaster, emotional turmoil and some pretty spectacular HOT lovin`.
The characters will have you laughing, crying and sometimes doing both at once, so have the tissues ready and settle in for a fantastic ride!!
WOW!! Each book in the series Crawley Creek is fantastic!!! Claiming His Cowgirl is the fourth book in the series. Vincent Rhone has lived on the ranch since he was three years old after his mother gave him up. He has been able to overcome the obstacles in his live. But he has only had one true love and that is Lauren Kensington. But when she was eighteen he sent her away thinking he was no good for her. Now eighteen years later she returns to Crawley Creek for a wedding that gets rained out. But her and Vincent are drawn back to each other. She tries to stay away from him because she is afraid he will break her heart again. They are thrown together because sims days a rain and flooding on the ranch and town. Can two broken hearts heal each other? This story was fantastic!!!! The characters are very dynamic!!! Will tell all my friends about it!!!!
If I was Lauren, I would have been just as devastated as she was when Vin pushed her away. I really felt for her. But I am so happy that she made a life for herself separate from Crawley Creek, the only place that she considered home. Vin's biggest regret is pushing Lauren away. Add that to PTSD and I was so happy that they were going to have a shrink on the ranch. Once Vin realizes he can't live without her, he refuses to let her go.
I love Lauren's toughness. She is strong, she had to be growing up the way she did. Men are so macho they always think they are saving the person they love by letting them go. But they always find out that they hurt them far worse, by letting them go. But that love is always deep and always true.
Every book in this series gets better and better! I fell in love with Vin quickly, seeing how much he loved Lauren and held onto that for 18 years and knowing there was more to his story behind his leaving when he was 18 and pushing Lauren away. Lauren was a strong willed heroine which I love but also allowed herself to feel when its called for.
I love the Crawley Creek guys and Lori King, I always look forward to getting my hands on the next release and knowing I need a block of uninterrupted time so I can read it from beginning to end in one sitting. If you haven't read the other books in this series I highly recommend doing so, you'll fall in love with the ranch, the people and their stories.
This is one of my favorite series. I downloaded this book at 3 in the morning and could not put it down. I love the cowboys of Crawley Creek and Vin is no exception. After being abandoned by his mom at the age of 3 he became one of many foster children at the ranch. Lauren, another child who spent time at the ranch stole his heart when they were 18. Bad decisions on his part forced him to leave Crawley Creek and her behind. Two decades later they come face to face again. Can they put the past behind them and find the love they shared?
Vin and Lauren have a history together from when they were kids. Eighteen years ago, Vin pushed her away and left, as in his mind they couldn't be together because she was meant for better things than him. Lauren left too and has only been back for funerals as her heart was broken by Vin. Neither one has forgotten the other over all these years. This second chance at love made me a bit teary eyed as they both struggle to overcome past hurts. Vin and Lauren are pushed together to help the family, the ranch and community to overcome disaster. The love that this family has for one another continues to shine through in this addition to the series.
This series is getting better and better. This series hits close to home for me as an adoptive/foster parent. She has been able (in my opinion) grasp the emotions that comes with that. I appreciate the effort she has put in. Now as for Vin and Lauren they have loved each other for ever but life got in the way and Vin thought he was doing the adult thing pushed her away. Lauren? I can relate to her when she stayed away all those years. You just don't get over that kind of hurt and rejection easy. Coming home showed just how strong she was. Deciding what she wanted and going after it proved without a doubt her strength.
Love this series. Here we get Vin and Lauren's story. Both grew up as foster kids at Crawley Creek. But they slso fell for each other. Until Vin broke Lauren's heart. Years later she reluctantly came back for a family wedding. Still having feelings for each other Vin has one and only chance to convince Lauren to stay. It was nice to watch both Vin and Lauren battle their inner demons and with help getting over them. I think Miss King created lovely characters and I hope we get to see them in future books as well. We also meet new character in a form of Dr. Hall and I can't wait to read her story.
