रोज़ तारों को नुमाइश में खलल पड़ता है चाँद पागल है, अँधेरे में निकल पड़ता है उसकी याद आई है साँसों ज़रा आहिस्ता चलो धड़कनो से भी इबादत में खलल पड़ता है राहत इंदौरी ने उर्दू शायरी को अवाम में मक़बूल बनाया है, वो अदब के रुख-ओ-रफ़्तार से वाक़िफ़ हैं. - अली सरदार जाफ़रीराहत इंदौरी के पास लफ़्ज़ों से तस्वीरकशी कर देने का अनोखा हुनर हैं, में उसके इस हुनर का फैन हूँ. - एम. एफ. हुसैन रा से राम है, रा से राहत है, राम वही है जो राहत दे, जो आहात करता है वो रावण होता है. राहत साहब की शायरी में राहत है, में उनके अंदाज़ को सलाम करता हूँ. - मुरारी बापू डॉ. राहत इंदौरी के कलाम बरजस्तगी, मआनी आफ़रीनी और दौर-ए-हाज़िर का अक्स है. उनका वजूद उर्दू शेर-ओ-सुखन और उर्दू ज़बान के लिए बड़ा क़ीमती तोह्फ़ा है.

It can't be missed if one likes Urdu Poetry. The metaphors, the underlying messages ,layered lines.. of course language ..so smooth and beyond appreciation adjecties.
