The first time we meet Rachel and the Brooks brothers was in Weekend Surrender. The next time was in a short installment called Fantasy Surrender, that was part of an anthology. Married for 5 years now and the parents of 2 children, Rachel and her men have come to a crossroads. Rachel is feeling down about being a stay at home mother and because of that, feels that maybe her husbands don't see her as sexy anymore. And she's tired! When the guys ask her what she wants for her anniversary, she's scared to tell them. In the short story with this title, we get Parker and Rachel's fantasy. It was so well received that readers wanted the other brothers to get their time with their wife also, so Lori King wrote more to this book. And OMG, did she ever spice it up. Each of the other 3 brothers get their time with their wife in their own way. The story never slowed down and will definitely keep the reader turning pages. At first, I only was hooked on Parker. I liked the other brothers but Parker was my book boyfriend. After reading this, I can truly say that ALL of the Brooks brothers are now my book boyfriends. I guess I just needed their individual stories with Rachel to bring it out. What Hudson planned was out of this world sexy. Sawyer shocked me and Rogan.....well, I just fell for him big time. This was the book I needed to complete the story of the Brooks family!! You can FEEL the love that each brother has for Rachel and you can FEEL all the emotions that Rachel is going through like you were right there. I even got a bit teary eyed in a few places. If you like Lori Kings' books, then do yourself a favor and get this book!!! You find out just how hot cowboys can be.

We have been following Rachel and the Brooks brothers since book one of this series. Five years into their marriage, we get another glimpse of their life in Fantasy Surrender. This one will take the reader on a roller coaster of emotions in a good way. I was happy, sad, tense, worried, aroused, laughing, and teary-eyed just to name a few. Ms. King has done a terrific job in writing and expressing the everyday highs, lows, and worries that come with keeping this family together.

It's Rachel's birthday and all four brothers have special, well thought out gifts for her. The first gift (Parker's) was part of an anthology already published earlier. Ms. King has now expanded it so the reader can experience all the gifts from all the brothers. Each gift is special and unique to each brother, but the gifts also tie them together as a family. I loved getting to see each brother get their special alone time with Rachel and how they each interacted with her during these times. This family has a special bond together that was great to see again!

Wow just WOW.

Oh wow what a great book. In this book we are back to visit Rachel and her four husbands in everyday life. So how is it being married to four men and raising two kids? Exactly how you would picture it. It'd hard trying to keep everything together and still have your own self. In this book it's there five year anniversary and each man has something special for there girl. You get to see how they love and how they struggle to grow as a family. It's really a great story. If you love hot sexy nights and a woman who's still trying to figure it out you'll love this book. I absolutely highly recommended this book.

This series is sizzling hot! I live my dreams through the woman of this series. You should definitely read “Weekend Surrender” first you haven’t already. If not it’s free on Amazon for a limited time so better start clicking. Rachel is one lucky woman, she not only has one sexy loving husband but she has four! And let me tell you, she is loved thoroughly by them all. Even though they have been married for five years, they still have some insecurities of their own. This story is about change and this large family goes through an emotional roller coaster ride of change. I would highly recommend this book and series to those with an open mind about multiple partners; or heck if you have a fantasy of being with multiple partners. If you want to know what happens guess you have to get the book to find out. I give this book 4.5 stars

How do I start? How about how did Lori do it? How did she manage to take a story of 4 men and 1 woman and make it so very real?
The first time we met Rachel and the Brooks brothers it was surreal. Hot. Passionate. It was so steamy that I would've blushed if I was a normal woman. Ha
The second time around was OH WOW! Not only did we get that heat, all the intensity, and let's face it, you know you want it, all those brothers, but we also saw the other side of the happy. The unsure part. The self image part. The, am I doing what I want in life part. She took apart the relationship of all five and made us see them as just couples, as just one person. Just questions and insecurities. That's real life. That's how good Lori King is. She makes me understand poly love. She makes me understand that it is the same love, just bigger.

For those of us who can only fantasize about having four doting husbands, this story reminds us all why we fell in love with Rachel and the Brooks brothers in the very beginning.

Each of Rachel’s delicious Cowboys have a distinctive plan to celebrate their five-year anniversary and Rachel would obviously be the delighted recipient; but Rachel has ideas of her own and needs to be reminded that her husbands still find her the sexy, adventurous woman they married, and not just a mother and a wife.

Ms King has managed to wrap up the series beautifully by bringing real life issues such as insecurity, doubt and low self-esteem into this unique relationship; this only made me relate to Rachel even more, but also envy her the love and devotion of these wonderful men! A fabulous read that was very well written.

This story has been greatly anticipated, I needed to know more from this family! Some people may look and this book and think it's just about sex, sex and sex. Well that's not true, yes we get some amazingly hot sexy scenes, hello 4 hot hubbies! But really, that's not what draws me back to this series again and again, it's the love, trust and communication between everyone. There's a lot that's happened in the 5 years they've been together, their family has expanded, and they've all changed. For Rachel's anniversary all of her husbands gift her with an amazing gift. Each one shows the love and caring they feel for her. And oh my, some of the surprises had me completely lost in the story, they had me from page one and kept me totally engrossed until the end. Absolutely love this and only wish it didn't have to end!

Loved the short version of this in the box set...the full thing is so much better!!

The Brooks Brothers love their wife Rachel and want to make sure their anniversary is wonderful. These men have some amazing ideas. No, I am not going to tell you...you have to go read the book. First up is Parker, that was awesome. Hudson's gift idea both thrills and terrifies me. Rogan's is super sweet! Sawyer's is so cool and possibly my favorite. Each is a special as the men she loves, but there may be something missing.
I loved how things ended, especially after that chat and even teared up a bit near the end. What a wonderful ending to a great series!!

I do love this series. I can live my every fantasy through Rachel. She is one lucky woman being loved and adored by four husbands. But it is a lot to keep everybody happy. They all go through insecurities and have questions of their own. We get on an emotional roller coaster and there is no getting off until the very end. Blimey, but what a ride. I enjoyed that every guy gets his own time with Rachel. They all so complete each other. So happy to see that at the end they all worked through their issues and their dreams come true.

This book was incredibly emotional and touching. As I read, I felt the happiness, the uncertainty, the confusion, the sadness and upset; all of it. This book was both hard to read and an absolute pleasure to read (mostly the latter).

This book features Rachel and the Brooks brothers from Weekend Surrender. Now they celebrating five years of marriage and two beautiful children. They are settled and the honeymoon phase of being newlyweds is completely over. Rachel is struggling with her life as it stands. On one hand, she is completely happy with her life. She has four husbands who love her and she loves in return. She has two children that all five of the adults absolutely adore. She gets to stay home with her kids and has gotten to be their for all of those little life events as they've grown up. She lives comfortably with the family not strapped for money. Overall, she has a wonderful life. Unfortunately, she still feels some discontent. I think Lori King did an excellent job of demonstrating that and her struggle with it. After all, when your life is full of great things that you love and make you happy, you should be content, right? King does a great job demonstrating how this isn't how it works. Everything can be seemingly perfect in a person's life, but that person can still feel incomplete or depressed. And when that's the case, that person starts feel guilty about feeling any unhappiness about their situation because they do have it so well and they should be thankful for everything they have and be happy. Right? This is the struggle Rachel goes through throughout the book. It was an emotional ride as her husbands fought to bring some excitement back into her life. Parker creates a thrilling, high-stakes chase, Hudson arranges a weekend at a B&B where she gets sexy photos taken, Sawyer takes her on a four day trip to New Mexico with a package that allows them to take any number of culinary courses. Over the course of the book, we watch Rachel try to figure out what's missing from her life and then, once she figures it out, how to make it a reality. As she does so, she also sees some of Sawyer's discontent and wants him to be able to fulfill his dreams as well. Ultimately, they come up with a solution that won't hurt the ranch in any way or the family, but would allow Rachel to be more than just a mom and Sawyer more than just a rancher. It is going to create a lot of changes though, and that scares Parker, who asks Rogan "Why now? Why does everyone suddenly want something new, now?" to which Rogan responds "I don't know, but I can't imagine everyone spends their entire life knowing exactly what path is right for them and how to walk it." (Chapter 21, p. 142). And Rogan's words are so, so true. It was touching watching this family struggle to make all of its members happy. In King's words, "Sometimes we're tested. As people, as a couple, as a family. I think this is one of those hurdles in life you either work hard to climb over or fall back and look for an alternate path." (Chapter 21, p. 146).

Overall, this book was fantastic! It's HEA with no cliffhanger. While it can be read as a standalone, I would strongly recommend reading the rest of the series first or, at the very least, Weekend Surrender. I only wish there were follow-up books for the other four poly marriages as well!

Rachel loved her family, but felt something was missing. Her four husbands could tell she was restless and knew they had to show her how much they meant to her. Each husband knew they had to show how much they meant to her individually.

Parker showed her she was the most beautiful and worth chasing after. Rogan did a spa day for Rachel and her mom. Hudson did a weekend getaway with boudoir pics. Sawyer did a cooking retreat getaway.

With each husband showing Rachel how much she was wanted and was desired it still didn’t quench the missing element till the trip with Sawyer. Sawyer always had a passion for cooking, but could it become a reality?

Will there be discord between them all? Will having a baby settle Rachel,

Excellent Read!

I really enjoyed reading this book about Rachel and her 4 husbands! It's 5 years after the marriage to the oldest brother, Rogan and the Acceptance ceremony between the rest, Parker, Sawyer, and Hudson! I loved how each husband made plans of their own to take Rachel someplace special for their anniversary! But, there is a little rift on the home front. You have to read Book 1 to see how they got here! I know everyone will enjoy reading these books, it you are into multiple lovers at one time!

Riding the Fence

Riding the fence on this one and I can only say I wish Rachel could figure out what was missing and really see how much she has in her life like her glass is half full versus half empty. Her husbands would do anything for her and yet she didn't lean heavy on them. It was nice to see the other characters from Stone River in this one. I wanted more of the story, especially since Sawyer finally spoke up about his career path.

Happy or not

Rachel has 4 husbands and 2 children, but still misses a life of her own. Should she have another child or get a job. She discusses it with her friends, so we are able to see how life has progressed for the other plural marriages. There is of course lots of sex and real discussions of life. The solution makes a lot of sense and I was happy with how things worked out.

Conclusion

This is the conclusion of this series and it does a great job of wrapping the series. However, I did not feel the book was needed, but it was great to come back to the Brooks brothers and Rachel's story.

What an emotional book!!! I both loved and hated it (in a good way).

I have been a fan of this series since the first book. In Fantasy Surrender, we are brought full circle back to the Brooks family 5 years later. This book did an amazing job at bringing real life into the story. Each person dealt with some sort of issue or insecurity that being married 5 years can bring.

Rachel had the biggest obstacle. Before the guys and kids, she only had to worry about herself and her needs. Now with 4 husbands and two kids, she feels lost or more so depressed that all the big milestones that happen in a lifetime have already happened. She was a very successful real estate agent before and how she is second fiddle the the "kids show."

It was nice to visit this family again seeing how they work together as a unit but also how they carve out time for each other. Rachel not only needs her men but she also needs alone time with each to nurture that relationship. These scenes were both touching and also very steamy!

I am going to miss this family and this series.

I freaking love Lori for expanding this story from its beginnings in the Dirty Doms Anthology. This full-length story takes a closer look at the family of seven, in a more natural, down to earth setting. Don't get me wrong, Fantasy Surrender is a whole lot sexy and I defy anyone reading this book not to want some of what Rachel experiences. But Lori adds a more realistic, human thread, one which most women come face to face with at some point in their lives, their confidence, in themselves and in the decisions they make. Lori has succeeded in having a female lead who is strong and feisty but who have flaws which are explored throughout the book. This is a brilliantly well-rounded story which has made me fan myself, laugh and ache for the characters. And for poor Mr. Mouse :D

A great ending to a great series. They're coming up on their 5 year anniversary. They are settled now and the honeymoon is definitely over. With four loving husbands and two children, what more could a girl ask for. But Rachael isn't content anymore. She feels she's missing something in her life. As the Brooks brothers each give Rachael a special and unique gift, she finds she's still struggling internally. She doesn't want to ask for what she truly wants, afraid it will tear her family apart. When Rachael finally gets up the nerve to talk to them, they all have different reactions. Will Rachel's request tear them apart? Will the Brooks brothers be able to give her what she truly wants and save their family?

We first met Rachel and her 4 men in Book 1 (Weekend Surrender). Fast forward in time to their 5th Anniversary, she and her husbands celebrate their happy life with their 2 children.
This was a well written erotic romance, I have a habit of skimming dragged out sex scenes, but I certainly wasn't bored with this one. Each of her husbands, even though they are brothers bring something different to their relationship.
We saw the doubt creep into their relationship when a woman feels like a mother and an extension of her husbands, and not a sexy independent person anymore.
There was plenty of good storyline and steamy sex. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Four Brothers work to make their Wife’s Dreams come True!!! 4.5 stars

Four brothers in a polyamorous marriage to Rachel each work to find a special way to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. Rachel is feeling down. She loves her husbands and two children, but feels like she has lost her own identity.

With equal parts of humor and sensuality we join the journey of these men to reconnect with their woman.
As changes come upon those at the ranch, they work to reach their potential and solidify their relationships. A unique family who reinvents the meaning of relationship and love.

It love the expanded version of this story. The story is fast paced and quickly drew me in, I didn't want to put it down. The characters are vibrant, full of depth, likable, and believable. The author does a great job of conveying the emotions of her characters. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I really enjoyed Rachel and the Brooks brothers story after 5 year of marriage. We all know how a relationship can get with the everyday mundane choirs, jobs, and kids. In this story Rachel has alone time with each of her men and they help her reaffirm their love for one another and help her bring back the spark in herself. A really loving story that I enjoyed!
