Worth It is a book written to encourage and uplift those who don't feel good enough or talented enough to be used by God. Worth it defines and reevaluates our culture's obsession with self-worth. This book is for those striving for a worth deeper than the surface, a worth that lasts, a worth deeply embedded in Christ.
Such a well crafted, heartfelt, truth filled novel written by girl wise beyond her years and full of untapped potential that I’m sure we will see in the time to come as she releases more and more novels. Nicole is using her God given talents to speak to our generation in such a quiet but powerful way that I related to immensely.
I am personally thrilled to find a Christian nonfiction author who is not only my specific denomination of Apostolic Pentecostal, but is also someone close in age to myself that I feel like I can relate to on an entire other level. I’ve followed Nicole for years of social media and watched her grow as a person through the highlight reel that she has chosen to put up and have always found her and Blake to be great role models for any young Pentecostals looking for a social media influencer to emulate in their own lives.
It’s incredibly exciting for me, as someone who reads a lot of books every single year, to find someone within the UPCI who had a book out there that’s available for me to recommend to others who share the same beliefs and faith that I and others in my church do. I honestly think this would be a great, short, captivating novel to share with something like a small group or even just within a friend group or small book club. The stories, comments, and revelations that she has shared in this novel could spark many a conversation and even preach if someone felt led to take a concept and run with it. That’s how powerful so many of these truths are.
I annotated my copy to death and will probably continue to do so upon reread. I know Nicole does restocks of her novel through her website every so often so I will leave the link to her site down below. Please check it out if you can get your hands on a copy.
Everyone needs to read this book! I loved every single chapter. After I’d finish a chapter, I was so consumed with God’s presence. This book confirmed so many questions that I was asking myself! One of my favorite chapters is “a lost art” which speaks about vulnerability. Nicole truly has a God-given gift! I encourage everyone to read this book. If you are struggling with your self-worth, buy this book. If you feel unusable by God, buy this book! If you need help loving God and Loving yourself, buy this book. This is one of those books that leaves you so inspired, empowered, and full. I love it!
There are few books upon ending that I immediately restart. This book is one of the few. It is packed full of biblical truth for a modern world. As a girl who has struggled and fought with her worth, this book made me feel a lot less alone. This book is beautifully written, raw, and uplifting. I could not recommend this book enough. It is truly Worth It.
This book is absolutely timely and relevant. Reading it, I felt as if was having a conversation with the author; she was simultaneously pouring out her heart and wisdom through her words and my soul was responding. You will be encouraged and challenged by this book. Reading it will be worth it!
This book was recommended to me by a good friend of mine and I am honestly glad that she brought this book to my attention especially during a difficult period of time that I went through where I felt emotionally lost. I was positively impacted after reading this book by being reminded of the value of self-love, acknowledging self-worth, and the importance of growing a relationship with God. For these reasons, this book is very special to me. Moreover, Nicole M. Arnold included Bible verses and personal anecdotes in the book, which I think were really nice details to add. Also, the book's design was very cute and added on to the book's purpose of reaching a female audience. Overall, I recommend this book to any young girl who may be struggling with accepting and loving herself and to those who may be seeking spiritual growth.
"God does not call the qualified, he qualifies the called." This book was published on Nicole M. Arnold's Instagram page and I decided to read it since she's an inspiration to everyone. This book really moved me and it made me realize many things. It allowed me to find my self worth and it motivated me to continue what it is that my heart desires to do for God. Nicole was very transparent while typing this book which is why we could all relate and it just lend me a message. Overall, I think its a great book that everyone should read specially if you are struggling in finding self worth.
