Heroine is a second generation Hollywood nepo baby who's already won an Oscar and is now trying her hand at film music composing. Coming off an abusive relationship that almost killed her, she is weary of getting involved with the broody, cynical but very attractive, hotshot Hollywood director hero, who wants her to score his vampire movie (which is a thinly veiled satire about his soulless ex-wife LOL). I was a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer so the hero's film sounded good haha.
