I've been waiting a long time for Gunner's story, and ML Rodriguez did not disappoint. In true ML fashion, she draws her readers in and makes them FEEL a wide range of emotions. I was left with a smile on my face for two people that truly deserved to find each other. I'm excited for what's up next in the series.

EVERYTHING (Men of Phoenix, #1) is Gunner's story. You met Gunner in LEAP OF FAITH. With this story, you will receive more background on the boys (Jake, Jax, Damon, Zeke, Duke), what happened to Gunner's career prior to the Phoenix Corporation, and we will discover if Gunner finally gets his happily ever after. Because man! He definitely deserves one. BUT life has a funny way of throwing curve balls, so Gunner has some decisions to make.
Our much-loved characters will also make an appearance, and, yes, Skylar will take center stage for a scene or two.

I received an ARC from the author for my honest review. This is another great story in the series. I had a couple issues with two of the supporting characters, but those didn't hurt the story. There were also several small typos, but since this is an ARC I assume those will be resolved before the book goes live. Thank you M.L.

It's emotional, sweet, a little sexy, heart warming but also gut wrenching. I definitely want to know all of the Men of Phoenix! Loved the concept, how it was presented in parts beginning with the character's early childhood. It was narrated from different POVs, so it was great to know what the character's were thinking and feeling. Their situations were truly unique and this author developed such a beautiful that got some laughs, tears and sighs out of me. ML Rodriguez is a new to me author, but, after reading this, I want more!
Heidi was the perfect girl in the eyes of everyone, but that was so far from the truth. Gunner did had an almost perfect childhood and, to top it of, he had his brothers who were with him every step of the way. But second guessing himself and a doing something he thought was in everyone's best interest at the time ruined his career. Now both have a second chance at happiness, but will they be brave enough to grab it? Will the past mess things up? So worth it to find out!!!

Oh my...when I first read this authors books I was gripped from the beginning. I read the first 3 books back to back, and I can honestly say I didn't put them down. Her style and storyline are unique. They are heartbreakingly beautiful and I was in bits at times reading them. It's been bitter sweet waiting for this book, the anticipation not knowing where Ms Rodriguez will take us next. This book didn't disappoint. I stayed up half the night reading it. Once again it's poignant and I was crying whilst reading it. The heartache and devastation these characters endure is almost unimaginable. But in between all this is a powerful love story that's so deserved, on both sides. Gunner and Heidi will cement themselves into your heart almost immediately. It'll make you mad and sad all over again but ultimately cheer them all on. Whilst it ends on a wonderfully positive note, there's still an unresolved situation still to be explained embedded in this ongoing family drama. Btw not with the two main protagonists in this book. I'm hoping for another book not too far in the future because it's torture not to get closure. Lol. I won't give more details as it will spoil it for others.
Suffice it to say I'm recommending this book and series to anyone who'll listen. One of my favourite books so far this year, and I've read a lot of books already. To fully understand this book I'd say you must read the first 3books.

I really enjoyed the La Flor series by M.L. Rodriguez and couldn’t wait to get stuck into Gunners story. He has been there from the start, lurking in the background. I was so excited to hear that he was getting a book too. He really deserved it.
For years he has been in love with Faith, always waiting for his chance but never quite getting it. Now he knows what real love is, what he felt for Faith pales in comparison. Heidi grabs his attention from the start, but between his confused feelings for Faith and the fact the Heidi does not want a relationship he really has to pull out all the stops. Being friends is a good place to start.
Heidi is an enigma, no one knows her, not the real her anyway. But Gunner gets past the walls she has placed around herself. Slowly making them crumble. But when the whole truth comes out, will anyone stand by her??

3.5 stars for this book.
I enjoyed most of the story but found it a little long winded in places.
The characters are OK but I struggled to relate to gunner, not sure why but he just didn't appeal to me.
When Heidi and Rylee talked I did get a little teary for them and Heidi's story.
I feel all together it's a good story but sadly I struggled with it. I feel horrible for not enjoying it more.

This is an emotional read that will stay with you long after you finish reading. The story flows well with a good plot that for most of the book keeps you wondering what the big reveal is going to be. There is also a very good epilogue that will leave you smiling.

She has a way to make you emotional and tears you apart only to build you right back up with a lot of hearts and love. This was no different. ML Rodriguez gives you a love story that's full of emotional turmoil, twists and surprises, and sexy romance you can't help but love. Everything is a new series by ML and she didn't disappoint. Heidi and Gunther's love isn't easy. There are time you're upset and just want to yell at them, there are times they make you sad, and there are times where Gunther makes you swoooooon. Heidi's strength is beautiful to see. Five everything stars!

Enjoyable
I loved the premise of this story. However, I felt confused by the secrets. They didn't seem flushed out enough for it to fully make sense. I wanted more backstory of how it happened such as Zane's role in it.

I received this book compliments of the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review. This was my first book by ML Rodriguez and I thought it was pretty good. It’s a sexy but emotional story of regrets, love and forgiveness. I’d be willing to read more from the author, perhaps the next Men of Phoenix. Worth the read.
