About the author

Kevser Yesiltash is a Turkish author of 20 books including “Ibn ‘Arabi - The Enlightened are Not Bound by Religion”. She writes mostly on mysticism, Sufi metaphysics, Quantum philosophy topics. Her books constitute the great masters Mansur Al Hallaj, Haji Bektash Veli, Yunus Emre, Rumi, Farududdin Attar. Kevser Yesiltash is one of the very few authors who wrote about Mansur Al Hallaj in the world. She writes not by research but by the inspirations she gets in her dreams visited by the great masters themselves.

Kevser Yesiltash is also lecturer and column writer on sprituality, enlightenment, reincarnation, Quantum Physics & Philosophy topics. She wrote columns for Ruh ve Madde (Spirit and Body) and Indigo magazines in Turkey. Her quotations were used in one of the Turkey’s best TV Series “Muhteşem Yüzyıl (Magnificent Century)”.

Kevser Yesiltash’s works are being studied as reference books in Turkish Universities such as Istanbul Bilgi University, Pamukkale University, Harran University.

The whole learned Ibn Arabi society has practically convinced itself that translating Arabi's Doctrine is impossible.
Yet, the author of this volume has no such fear. Of course, the text will never be an easy reading, either in the original or in the English translation, and there will always enough people criticizing this or that choice of words. Of course, half way through there may be a need to go back and change something in the earlier volumes, and the electronic format makes it easier. But please don't let it stop you, Mrs Kevser, the critics will go away, and your book will remain.
Much of the current dialog from and about Islam assumes a very rigid and narrow perspective on the role available to Ibn Arabi in Islam. The Enlightened are not bound by religion, It is written at a college level, so for some people it would not be an easy read, but the writing is clear and straightforward so it is not hard to follow.

I read the book in Turkish. But I got the English book The Enlightened are not bound by religion in New York.
This book is an excellent read for someone following the Sufi path. But it contains so much depth that an ordinary person will find it difficult to comprehend. The author is a renowned Sufi saint that shares his experience through parables. Each time you read the same chapter, you get a new meaning. This is not a book to be read only once or to be read at one go. You have to meditate of the meaning of each chapter to be able to understand.

It's a college-set book. It is an academic resource.

The concepts are well drawn. I used to be confused with all these metaphysical jargons. But this book illuminates me.
I now understand clearly the sufi concepts.
It's a great book. Highly recommended for the beginner in sufi and the seeker of truth.
