There is nothing really unusual in the actual storyline but there doesnt seem to be one character who isnt unhappy with their life.
The ending is left fairly open and you arent quite certain what happens to Luke, but as he really wasnt very likeable, its hard to care very much either way.
Disjointed momentum and simple character development and dialogue. Many times I had to reread pages as I thought, have I missed something? More effort in descriptive language setting the scenes and depicting the main protagonist being the beach. Which I enjoyed. An easy afternoon read to be fair, this book doesn’t demand much from you. A young reader might appreciate this book more.
Kind of no plot just vibes, but I still really enjoyed it. Was going for 4 stars but the ending just seems predictable and boring compared to the rest of it
