After his father is laid off, Ky Scion is forced to reside in his ancient family manor in the small town of Blackstone Falls. He’s an outcast to the local farmers, too Goth and too gay. Ky turns to repairing the huge house while pursuing an art degree. His parents are blind to the terrible secret he discovers among the bloodstained walls. Something lives in the dark, in the nooks and hideaways of the old house. Someone with hot breath and strong hands who wakes Ky up in the middle of the night.
In the dark hides the powerful Relics. Unique and beautiful, they’re exploited for their magic and fought after viciously. Relics aren’t items, they’re sentient beings, demonic men stolen from their world to be bonded into servitude to callous sorcerers.
Ky’s grandfather disappeared years ago, leaving his Relics to be killed off one by one. The monster who feeds on the Relics smells of rot and blood, and is soon to attack. Ky’s not a sorcerer, and has no way to defend himself from the murderous beast set on revenge.
Each episode in this sexy, suspenseful gay monster harem serial is over 10,000 words, and should be read in order to be enjoyed fully.
Short, hot and more than a little creepy. An old house, a feeling of being watched and the smell of blood. A human sized sexy 'cat' who likes to lick amongst other things. Lovely.
Decent writing. Intriguing story. Ends very abruptly. I find these serials annoying. First book free to rope you in then 2.99 for subsequent episodes. Less than 300 pages in all 4 with a cost of $8.97. I will not continue.
A strange old family mansion with dark shadows and unrevealed secrets. You never really know what hides in the dark. Is it good or bad to embrace it, let it claim you. Fantastic story.
This book is hot, seductive, erotic, tempting... How many ways can you say amazing? I really liked reading this book. It gets you on edge and keeps you there and the erotic area is amazing.
Well, this one wowed me. It exceeded all of my expectations in the most unexpected way! I don’t know what I thought I was going to get, but it wasn’t this, and thank goodness for that. THIS is how you write a short.
I was looking for a new series to start and remembered I had saved this one. While the spice in this is...interesting, the plot is AWESOME. Very Hill House vibes and I am INTO it.
This story was absolutely awesome. Ky moves into a large family manor with his parents, while also studying his art and going to community college. I really like Ky. There's so much that I don't really know yet but I can't wait to read what happens next as this series unfolds. There were many parts in here that had me laughing out loud, like finding the dead rat in his bed, or smelling the blood in the basement and hearing chains as he runs out of there taking two steps at a time. :) I would definitely do the same. It's his thoughts and reactions that are cute. Frankly he's very brave because I would have been off to tell my parents. :) The story progresses at a great pace and I enjoyed the style of writing. I just love this series so far and I'm off to get the next episode. :D
Disclaimer: I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
Unlike the previous story I read from Sadie Sins, Coffee Boy, this one is almost tame.
A college student who discovers that his grandfather kept a demon under his bed? It sounds like the beginnings of a horror story, but it turns into something sexier. This demon is almost an incubus in its soft seduction and it's definitely the start of something good.
A fantastic start to a great series. We meet Ky and start to get an image to the type of guy he is. Plus, there is Lovely. Just what is he? That's one of the things I love most about Sadie Sins. Each episode explains a little more about the world she's created while expanding it. The further along you go, the more you never want to leave it.
If I was rating this by how well the writing and story is, it would be a 5 star. It was done very well, but I don't think this genre is totally my "thing" that I would get completely hooked on.
Not a bad story at all, just not my type at the moment.
