**Note** This book was formerly called Everything to Lose. The publisher gave it a new title and cover and made it part of the Hawaii Billionaire Romance Series because it was written as the lead-in story to this series.

A fast-paced, sweet romance by bestselling authors Jennifer Youngblood and Sandra Poole

When her father dies suddenly, Samantha Fairchild gets engaged to Anthony, an uptight, controlling billionaire in order to save the family from financial ruin. Samantha accompanies Anthony to Hawaii while he’s conducting a business deal. A chance encounter with a free-spirited surfer with dreamy eyes and a quick smile throws her into a heart-wrenching tailspin.

Finn Croft is everything Samantha ever wanted in a man, except for the fact that he’s a simple surfer with very little money. When he offers to teach her to surf, she doesn’t have the willpower to turn him down. Sparks ignite between them as Finn whisks her off to romantic spots around the island, leaving Samantha trying to juggle her commitment to Anthony and her family versus her growing attraction to Finn.

Caught between forbidden love and loyalty, Samantha has everything to lose. Will she choose money and security, or will her heart win out in the end?

You'll enjoy these other books in the Hawaii Billionaire Romance Series. These are all standalone novels, but the characters interconnect.

I am a simple soul and I love good clean romance stories. I relish being caught up in the story with characters, situations, and plot lines that come across as believable. The authors did that for me in this offering. I love the fact that they obviously did their location research well. I actually went to Google Earth and found Goat Island. I could see where Samantha and Finn walked through the water to the island and the beach where they strolled. I was pulled into the story quickly and remained captivated through the last page. When a story does that for me, I award five stars.

Everything to Lose (Destination Billionaire Romance) is by Jennifer Youngblood and Sandra Poole. This romance is set mainly in Hawaii. The book is well-written and fun to read.
Samantha, her younger sister Dani, and their Mother got a devastating shock when they went to the reading of their Dad’s will. They discovered he was in such debt that everything they had, including their house, was to be sold to pay the debts. The only thing they had was their Mother’s shop which was not doing well. A family friend, Anthony, offered to help them. He purchased the house and let them live there rent-free. Then he set to work looking into the business to see what could be done. When, after a short while, Anthony proposed to Samantha, she felt obligated to agree, thinking a long engagement would be in the works. To her dismay, Anthony and her Mother pushed for an immediate wedding. Since Anthony had to be in Hawaii for work, they agreed to a wedding in Hawaii. Samantha was to go with Anthony in advance to get to know each other better and then would marry before returning.
Samantha was miserable. It seemed nothing she did made Anthony happy. Nothing was done to his satisfaction. His OCD outmatched her own by a lot. He began controlling her every move.
Dani arranged for Samantha to have surfing lessons. Finn was her teacher. She met him at the airport when she arrived in Hawaii. Samantha picked his bag up by mistake. She had to ignore her attraction to him but did tell him Anthony was her brother when he drove up to pick her up.
Anthony’s OCD gets worse when Dani comes to visit. Dani is very messy and it drives Anthony nuts. She is also a bad influence on Samantha, or so he thinks. With the help of Anthony’s neighbor, Liam, things really begin to happen quickly.

After the death of Samantha's father, the family finds out that they are deeply in debt. Anthony holds that over their heads to get Samantha to date him. Samantha doesn't like the way he looks at her and he is at least 10 years older than her. But she decided to go along with him for the sake of her mother and sister. Anthony convinces her to go to Hawaii with him for a month to get to know each other. While they are there, Anthony's true colors and controlling nature come out plus he is super picky about keeping the house clean, even down to how much toilet paper she and her sister can use at a time. While Samantha is adjusting to all this, she meets Finn who is a surfer and starts taking surfing lessons from him. More than one person is keeping secrets and deceiving others, which leads to mistrust. After Anthony locks Samantha in her room, she and her sister leave and take refuge with Liam who lives next door. I was so glad to see Samantha finally come to her senses regarding Anthony and love how things turn out once she and Dani go back home. There is some humor in the story and I enjoyed reading about who Anthony turns to next and he just may get what he deserves. I received a copy of the book and this is my honest review.

Samantha and Finn

Samantha's father has just died from a sudden heart attack and now she, her sister Dani and her mother Katia are going to hear the reading of the will. Her mom has also invited Anthony, her father's business partner, to be at the reading. Anthony, is at least 10 if not more years older than Samantha and she hates how he looks at her. At the reading it comes out that their father wasn't as financially sound as thought, so now Anthony is holding that over her head. They have gone to Hawaii for a month to get to know each other, and for him to figure out what is going on with one of his investments. Just because he's a billionaire doesn't impress Samantha all that much! Then she meets Finn at the airport. In a case of mistaken luggage? What happens next? What about when Dani gets there? Whose Koa and Liam? All this will be made clear when you read this great story by Jennifer Youngblood!

An Intriguing Story, With Surprises
Without risking telling too much, I’ll just say she chose him, to save her family; but later questions the wisdom of that choice. There are secrets between the couple, and they begin to put increasing tension between Samantha and Anthony. Don’t get discouraged, … keep reading! You may be surprised how it ends. I was, … pleasantly so!

Trust your instincts

Great story. Beautiful location. Loved the fact that it really is a clean story, and well written. No swearing. No sex. A better story without them. Delightful hero. Skin crawling, creepy villain. Secondary hero too. Good fun, with a healthy warning. Well done.

I liked it , but...

I didn't like the lies. I knew how it would end:it's a romance.
Anthony was over the top.
Samantha was under
handed and dishonest. The mother should never have sold her daughter for her own safety.
Too pat an ending
Finn and the other guy were the only good people in the story.

Cute book

Samantha's dad passed away unexpectedly leaving the family with loads of debt and the family home mortgaged to the hilt. Enter her dad's business friend who wants to rescue the family but only if Samantha will marry him. He is not who everyone thinks he is plus Samantha catches the eye of a gorgeous surfer. I really enjoyed this book.

Rating 3.5. This was an interesting but somewhat depressing story imo. It was difficult with all the deception swirling around and with such unkindness running through virtually the whole story. Kind of wore on me.

And I thought that i knew what OCD behavior was. It has taken on a new meaning. It must be a shock that the death of a parent means giving up your current life style and being forced into one that takes self control away.

delightful romance

I really enjoyed the story. I couldn’t put it down. Though, I feel like the ending was a little bit rushed. I wanted a little bit more. But it was still a great book.

ENJOYABLE STORYLINE

This was a fun read, placed in the romantic setting of Hawaii and it involves a billionaire tyrant pressuring a woman to marry him while she is falling in love with a “surfing instructor “.

Very enjoyable book!

Samantha grew up having plenty money. She never wanted for anything. Her mother and sister were the same. Their dad and husband of their mother died from a massive heart attack. Life is a different story for all of them now.

This was kind of an intense read. First there were some editing issues. Other than that this was an intense book with a psychopath. I enjoyed how two love stories sprang from the mayhem and love prevailed over hurt and money.

I really love this story set in Turtle Bay resort on Oahu. The descriptions brought back many fond memories of that beautiful place. I love the characters. Samantha is a thoughtful loving daughter, wanting to protect her mother and younger sister. Dani is naïve and carefree. Katia is delicate but strong underneath it all. Finn is fun loving and kind. Anthony is a HUGE jerk. A wonderful story set in paradise.

Stay True to Yourself

Nice sweet story about learning to lean on others for help but most of all yourself. Honesty is the best policy. Lies never stay hidden they always appear at the worse moment.

Great story

This was a memorable book. The beginning was slow to get started, but then I fell in love with the characters and had a hard time putting my kindle down. I enjoyed seeing how Finn and Samantha worked on their love. Overall this was a fantastic book and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a clean romance.
