V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her mama over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn't happen.

5 Bratva STARS!
Every time I read a book in this series I think there is no way the next one can top this but I was once again proven wrong. I absolutely adore this series, the characters are so interesting and the story line never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat.
Gleb was a to die for alpha male with a tortured past, he didn't let his past affect who he is today. He is extremely loyal to his brotherhood, and an overall easy going guy. Until he meets Victoria, and all bets are off. His playboy days are over and he instantly wants to be a one woman guy.
"Victoria Gazmanova was mine, and no one and nothing would ever separate us."
Victoria doesn't want to let her past and the secrets she's been keeping from Gleb ruin their relationship. She realizes he means everything to her and doesn't want to lose him. What she doesn't realize is that Gleb won't let anything ruin their relationship, no even Victoria herself.
"Victoria was mine. And I'd find her. I'd torture her for days so she'd forever remember it."
My absolute favourite part of this story was the scenes that included all the side characters and couples from the previous books. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can Michael & Vitya have a book?! I love them so much <3

Yuppp.... because one book wasn’t enough for me from this freakin author so i read her entire series of this book! Oh boy did i enjoyed it all! I DID! I’M OBSESSED WITH THESE HEROES!!!!
Its exactly what i want from a hero!!!
Omg I’m extremely enjoyed and thrilled reading this series because how much GREAT THE STORIES IS LIKE SERIOUSLY OMG!!!! IT MADE ME CURIOUS AND MADE ME WANTED MORE!!!!

This book and well these series of the book YOU WILL NOT BE BORED. YOU WILL BE DIGGING SOME MORE. THIS SERIES HAVE A HOT SMUT SCENES, MAFIA DRAMA, ACTION CRIME FIGHTING GOING ON, FRIENDS AND FAMILY UNITED AND FUNNY SCENES FROM THEM AND BROTHERHOOD THAT JUST VERY CARING TO ONE ANOTHER AND FIGHT WHATS RIGHT!!!! OMG.... is just very great story. This series really should be a movie for sure😭

But I’m also glad that this book only have one enemy. The other series where the characters have two and even four enemies. BUT THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE only have one enemy. And it doesn’t talked so much about the human trafficking like the other books of this series... also it doesn’t have any stalking like the other books again like i said. SO IT WAS PRETTY NICE TO READ THIS BOOK.
‼️‼️‼️IT HAS SEPARATION at first when they were not officially in a relationship... three weeks. BUT BOTH DIDN’T GO OR TOUCH ANYONE ELSE. BOTH are very loyal.... even when the hero thought that his brothers are willing to give him away to marriage and at the time he doesn’t even meet the heroine again because she was hard one to find, THE HERO DIDN’T WANT TO DO IT.

Surprisingly both didn’t push away eveeeer... The other series because they have different stories, both was pushing away but not this one. EVEN WHEN THE HEROINE WAS EMOTIONALLY SAD about her past, she shared it with the hero without a doubt. She didn’t push the hero away at the time and ever. “I TOLD HIM BECAUSE I COULDN’T FIND THE WILL TO LIE TO HIM AFTER THE MAGICAL NIGHT AND MORNING WE SHARED TOGETHER.”

‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING! EPILOGUE 20 YEARS! OMG THIS SERIES IS ALWAYS SO GREAT ESPECIALLY WITH THE EPILOGUE! And it was long story well not too long but it wasn’t quick either. We get to see the other children, how their children and how hero and heroine are very in love even 20 years later... and it was very beautiful.

You think that’s disgusting? For me its not and i’ve been eating it like that for many many years. You tell me to put another sauce and see if i like that better? I already did many many times in years but i still like the way i like it. It’s called differences between me and you and billions people in this world😊 be open minded😙 I respect people’s opinions about my opinions but in the end of the day if i say I don’t like it or i do like it, its up to me and its on me. And in the end of the day i always liked and show my respect to books and people’s opinions on books whenever that book is good or not good in my opinion 😊 Respect people’s opinions guys😙😙 I don’t want to write this down because its not really my thing to do it. Darn how good!
Well I read this till it was done, everything on my to do list is not happening! I literally didn’t put this down all day. I had to see what was going to happen.
Lots of twist and turns and I can’t say much because it will give it all away.
Gleb is hot! Dang if he looks like the guy on the front cover then....yummmm! I liked him. I felt terrible about all his heartbreaking younger years. But as he said sometimes the family you find is the strongest family you can have.
Victoria too had heartbreak so sad. I liked her and I am glad she got the end result she hoped for.
Great read. Yuri’s story though. I really want to read that one.

Brigadier's Game by V. F Mason is Book Four in the "Bratva & Cosa Nostra" series. This is the story of Victoria and Gleb . This is the first book I have read by this author, so for me this was a standalone book.
Gleb is a part of Bratva and the brotherhood that it has brought him. Gleb feeling like he will never be with anyone person in a relationship has turned his love life into several different women..until now it feels like a chore than enjoyment. His 'brother' tell him that he will fall like them when he meets the women he is suppose to be with but Gleb is sure that won't happen. So this is my first V.F.Mason book and I have to say I really loved it. This is a story of a hurt young girl that lost everything due to the mafia and their business dealings. Having to play the good daughter and mafia girl she keeps her life going by being good. Victoria goes to America for school and training. Coming back to Russia she is forced into a marriage with one of the big men in the mafia, what comes to is a story that you will not be able to put down.
One that note, I was not able to put this story down. There is so much emotion, love, hurt, and mystery in this story that I was sad to see this story end. Loved it. I did not read the other stories before this one and did not feel like I missed anything. I will, however, read them now. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

I haven't read V.F. Mason book and shame on me. I truly enjoyed this one. Despite it being a part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. I will read the other books because the side characters are so intriguing.
Gleb laughs at the other members of his brotherhood who have been married off claiming they are in love. His only purpose is the brotherhood. He goes back to New York where he meets Victoria and they click instantly. He know she is his. After a one night stand, Victoria leaves Gleb because she has one mission: find her brother's killers and destroy them.
After leaving the states, Victoria is back home and is being forced by her Uncle to marry into the Bratva. Normally she would be repulsed but being inside will help her take them down quicker. She just didn't plan on marrying Gleb.
Everything gets tangled for Victoria as she finds herself falling for her husband. The secrets of the past is piling up but Gleb is not oblivious to it all. He is trying to figure out what is going on with Victoria.
I loved the glimpses back in Glenn's past. He is such a strong and loyal character. The first half of the book is strong and the second half became more emotional. I thought this was going to be a lot more dark than it was. It is still good and the secrets that came out nearly blew my mind. Things wrapped up a little too neatly for my taste but I still enjoyed this book.

Anyone who knows me knows that Mafia books are my jam. There is something about the brotherhood, loyalty and eventual secrets that come out that I love. Brigadier's Game was absolutely fantastic. Gleb and Victoria were perfection. He was an alpha male through and through and she was so sexy, strong and sassy and proved herself to be a strong man's weakness. I could not get enough of this story.
Brigadier's Game is the fourth book in the Bratva & Cosa Nostra series and really should be read after the previous books. This series is epic and quite alot happens in each book and should not be missed! I rally enjoyed this book. I felt the chemistry between Gleb and Victoria was combustible and their banter fiery. Victoria is out for revenge against the Bratva. This consumes her every waking moment until she meets Gleb. He is the Bratva's Brigadier (aka the man who takes care of what needs to be done.) But once they get together they realize that their feelings for one another are on another level. His playboy days are behind him and Victoria realizes she loves him and does not want to lose him. But what happens when Gleb finds out her secrets? Will he protect or kill the woman he loves for the brotherhood?

Until he showed up claiming me as his and shifting the rules of the game. Falling in love with him was easy, but choosing between loyalty and love was not. She dreaded the day he would find out the truth. No one would be able to save her from the brigadier's wrath.
The Bratva became Gleb's only salvation, saving him from the nightmares of the past. They accepted him with open arms and introduced him to the brotherhood that stood by me though everything. He gave his heart and soul to that gritty and dark world, never wanting more. Until he met Victoria and then everything changed. Victoria Kuznecova became his. But, she was hiding something from him, placing them both on a dangerous path. Because no one betrays the Bratva and lives.
This series is absolutely amazing. If you love a good mafia book your are missing out if you have not read these books. I think that Brigadier's Game is now my favorite one in the entire series. I fell so in love with Gleb and Victoria. Victoria is out for revenge and has a plan. It was all suppose to be so simple until she realizes she has given up her life for revenge only to have it called off which was never suppose to happen. Gleb is the Brigadier in the Brevta. In other words if things need taking care of he is the man to do it. So was Victoria's dad. Until he was killed and her entire world shattered not once but twice. Gleb is very loyal to the brotherhood and the Brevta is not what it once was when Victoria's dad was killed. It is a family more like a brotherhood than anything else. Sure they do things but they mainly just care very deeply for everyone in the inner circle. This also was reason why Gleb never did relationships. However the moment he lays eyes on Victoria he claims her as his own. Fate has a funny way of throwing these two together in the least expected ways since they only enjoyed the one night together and Victoria secretly ran off from his room. They really didn't get to know each other and are about to learn some things about each other really quickly. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and reading as quickly as you can. I loved every second of it. There are twists and turns and of course secrets being kept. They will keep you guessing till the very end.

Gleb is a man who didn’t let what happened in his past affect who he is today and he s extremely loyal to his brotherhood and many would characterize him as easygoing- all until Victoria came into the picture and then he was like a man with a short temper . As soon as he met Victoria, he knew she was meant to be his. His soul recognized his playboy days were over and he is , for now on, going to be a one woman man all because of Victoria.
Victoria doesn't dare let her past shape who she is now pretending to be , for she has secrets she is holding in deep nor is she able to let the secrets she's been keeping from Gleb ruin their burgeoning relationship. Wow I really enjoyed Brigadier's Game and I can't wait to see more from the secondary characters cause they have stories to tell that I must know . I've only read Sovietnik's Fury and my plan is to read the Pakhan duet ( you can read this as a stand alone I wasn't lost at all but I'll highly recommend that you get these books asap) . When these two made eyes a crossed the room there was no denying the instant attraction they shared ,what began as a one night stand with feelings they didn't quit understand the reasoning of why Victoria and Gleb have such a strong magnetic connection ( lets just say these two bring the heat with sex scenes that are off the charts hot) they become reunited in a unexpected way .Victoria is out for blood the man who came in like a wrecking ball and demolished her family is about to pay and on her journey of revenge she is unexpectedly in the presence of the man she gave her virtue and a piece of her heart , I really fell for the heroine and understand her need for vengeance my heart broke for her when we would get little flashbacks . Gleb is just pure yummyness once he finds what he never thought he would or could ever have there is no going back for this man meat he's possessive , protective , dirty talker who could be a bit of a teas (wink) , and loyal to his brothers , he too has a past full of pain . Ok what an unexpected twist I was in tears for the last couple of chapters just oh my gosh people I know I'll be reading more from the these characters I'm a little disappointed on not seeing who's next I'm hopping it will be the one of my two favorite must couples stories cause they need to happen .

I WANT! I WANT! I WANT!! (Imagine that being screamed like a bratty little kid) That is the way I feel after reading V.F. Mason's newest release, Brigadier's Game. I want more! NO, I NEED more Gleb and Victoria!!
I loved this book so much. The twists and turns, the angst, the sexiness, and of course, the hero and heroine! Gleb is this sexy mafia guy who sees all of his friends falling in love, but knows it will never happen to him. And Victoria is this tough, kickass woman who knows what she is after in life and determined to get it.
I love that the characters own themselves and their personalities. I love their chemistry and I love their loyalty to their parties. This book is just so much love from me.
I could preach my love for days about this book, but I think it's mostly because of the characters. I love them so much. I hardly ever think of characters from a book like this so long afterwards, but goodness, how could I not.
This book is a no brainer suggestion to read from me. Especially if you love mafia romances; strong women; hot, alpha men; angst; and a story you'll remember for days!

This story has certainly evolved from the first book. Although a stand-alone, BG is connected to the Pahkan trilogy. As each standalone is released, the stories take on a more contemporary romance vibe. It will take a bit for my mind to separate and grasp the new concept.
With that being said, as a CR story, BG is spot on! It has the feels, secrets, betrayals, revelations, etc. There’s quite a bit of emotion in the last half of the book. Michael is the biggest surprise of all. The intrigue around this reveal is well-written.
As a CR, Mason nailed it. This story should not be considered anything but a CR novel.

Eeeekkkk!!! Ms. V. nailed it again!!! Brigadier's Game is Gleb's story. I love the story and the characters of this book!!! It's full of surprises and emotions from the start up to the last!!! Victoria, I love her!! She can definitely kick some a**!! She's not a damsel in distress kind of woman and I love her for it! Glen, my gosh!! **swoon** Overall, this book will rock your world! First let's get the cover out of the way. This cover alone is one zillion stars!!! Drool worthy and delicious! OMG Gleb, was my favorite of the series so far! I loved him and Victoria together. They are by far my favorite couple! They were super HOT! I hope Michael get his book!

I absolutely loved this book. V.F. Mason did it again!!! The way Gleb and Victoria interacted was so fascinating and titillating. Watching how indifferent Gleb appeared to outsiders while showing compassion for those he deemed his family was amazing to read. I loved seeing Victoria open up to loving someone and to start looking into the future. There is so much in this story to love and I can’t wait to reread it again. I could go on and on about how wonderful this story was but to anyone reading this.... buy this book! You won’t regret it! It is a phenomenal book!

She slid down my body, moaning against my hard-on, and then whispered, “You brought me to the woods to have your naughty way with me?” I really enjoyed this book, and I have to say I'm hoping Yuri gets a book because that man caught my interest.

V.F. Mason has definitely hit my top 5 for this year. I was introduced to her when I read Pakhan's Rose and was completely blown away by the story. After that, I made sure I received every arc our blog received. Her stories are so well-written with realistic characters and dialogue. I loved Victoria's and Brigadier's characters. The whole book reminded me of the Sopranos.
And talk about your attention catching cover. HOT!
Overall if you like gritty, sexy and a dirty read then this is the story for you.

The more I read V.F. Mason, the more I see how each new book has shown new levels of EPIC goodness! And as much as I have LOVED LOVED LOVED every book of hers, and I've read each and every one of them to date, Brigadier's Game has become my absolute favorite! I'll break it down for you a bit generically, because I don't want to give even one thing away accidentally. Basically, Victoria grew up in the Bratva, but when said organization ruins her life, she makes it her mission to destroy them. She's out with a friend one night when she comes face to face with a man that she cannot resist, spending a hot night with him, and running out before he can find out who she is. Little does she know that she will come face to face with Gleb, a Brigadier in the Bratva, that man that she can't stop thinking about again. But will he forgive her when he finds out what she's hiding?! Brigadier's Game was cover to cover action, and my heart never stopped racing. I fell in love with Victoria & Gleb from the beginning, even though I wanted to shake him for some of his actions. They EXPLODED into serious FIERY FLAMES of sexy times that didn't just melt my drawers, but disgenergrated them fully. And the colorful cast of secondaries only added to the awesome depth to this addictive story. I cannot say enough that V.F. Mason has a brilliant & highly original writing style that I'll NEVER EVER get enough of! Her diabolical twists & turns had me dropping loud f-bombs like they were yes & no answers, as I didn't see many of them coming! I will ever be waiting impatiently for her next exciting masterpiece, especially in this series, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Brigadier’s Game 3.5 Stars
This has to be the hardest review I’ve ever had to write. There were parts I absolutely loved and others that had my eyebrows raising and me questioning
how can this be about the Bratva. I love a good MC read and absolutely adore a good bratva read.
All in all this book was well worth the read; I had no trouble following along even though I haven’t read the ones that came before it. The H/h were absolutely great together, even though there were numerous flashbacks it didn’t take away from the story and the storyline itself flowed well and had enough tension to keep me flipping pages to find out what would happen next.
Now for some of my eyebrow raising moments.
MC VS MOB?
They all live at headquarters and there are whores there for them and they all party together? Usually the Pakan and his wife wouldn’t live with everyone else and this sounds more MC related than anything.
I am unapologetic about being a cover snob. While the cover is absolutely gorgeous it reminds me more of an MC cover and in no way depicts the H describe in the book.
An FBI agent being pregnant for a bratva member and still having the job investigating them. All the while still openly associating with them in N. Y.

Wow! This book is full of twist and turns that leave you questioning what will happen next. This is my first book by V.F. Mason and I absolutely loved her writing style. Although, I read this as a standalone I would recommend reading the previous books in this series so that you can fully understand the dynamic of the Bratva. The storyline weaves seamlessly between the past and present which helps with character development.
How can you not completely fall in love with Gleb? I mean he is the complete dominating alpha package with muscles to match. Victoria is an interesting character, she grew on me more and more as the story went on and you fully understand the depth she will go to avenge her family. Their chemistry is instantaneous and powerful! I loved how everything played out. Everything is not always as it seems. I am not going to give anything away because quite frankly it will take away from the book.
You completely fall in love with all the key players in the Bratva. Family means everything and true love binds them all together!

An exciting and suspenseful read. I just couldn’t get enough of this book. This story is about Gleb and his tumultuous relationship with Victoria.
Gleb had a hard upbringing in the foster care system when he was left for dead on a street in Boston by his foster mother and her boyfriend. A runner for the Bratva stumbles upon him changing his life. From there his life wasn’t smooth sailing but it was a vast improvement over his previous life.
Victoria thought she had a good life until it all came crashing down with the murder of her father because he was Brigadier for the Bratva. Then her baby brother disappears and her and her mother were kicked out of the Bratva’s home. When her uncle comes and promises her mother and her the life they lead when they were part of the Bratva her mother couldn’t refuse because of Victoria. Victoria grows up hating everything Bratva.
Gleb and Victoria spend one night together and she just vanished in the middle of the night and Gleb searched for her until he has to go back to Russia to fill his obligations to the Bratva. He is ecstatic when he learns of the Bratva’s proposition for him. Victoria will finally be his, but she is keeping a major secret from him. Will his time with Victoria be his undoing? Will he choose family over everything, even Victoria?

Wow each book in this series just gets better and better! The plotline are gripping and along with the characters you are kept on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next.
Glebe is a sexy Alpha Male, who is slightly damaged with his past but he refuses to let it define who he is today and he's extremely loyal to the brotherhood. That is until he meets Victoria, all bets are off and he wants her. The chemistry between them was off the charts.
I loved seeing other couples from previous books popping back in, it was like saying hello to old friends.
There are quite a few secrets revealed, there are betrayals, and some fantastic twists and turns.
I can't wait to see what happens next in this series

This is part of a series, but for me it can be read as a stand alone since the characters stories are self contained.
Victoria is secretly looking for revenge against those who killed her father. She is being forced to marry a member of the bratva. Turns out that she is being forced to marry Gleb, who happens to be her one-night stand. They have an instant connection, but will it be enough to over rule her betrayal when he finds out her true reason for marrying him.
I really enjoyed this story. At times it was a bit hard to follow since there were lots of secrets, but the connection between Victoria and Gleb was awesome.

Brigadier's Game; what can I say other than fantastic, amazing and loved it.
I love this series and the way this author writes. Gleb and Victoria's story made me both laugh and cry. Now I'm one of those readers who actually likes to cry whilst reading, it makes me appreciate the story and the characters so much more and for me proves how much talent an author has. Not only have they written something that has brought tears to my eyes, but it has me reaching for the tissues, and this story did both.
The story was fast paced, it had drama, angst, love, betrayal, heartache and joy; and every other emotion you can think of. Yes for me this book was all about the emotions, in fact this series has been all about the emotions and I've loved every word, paragraph and chapter and can't wait for more.

I love how this story has us entrapped with the characters lies, secrets, angst, drama and of course suspense that keeps us the readers on our toes.
