St. Skin #4

Lost, Found, Loved

Rate this book
It's all supposed to be fake. Until it turns real.

Bella:
My car broke down. Now I'm getting tattooed by the guy who saved me... and I'm sort of engaged to him. Don't worry, it's all fake. Well, it's supposed to be...

Zayne:
I've been staring at the wedding invitation for months. She sent it to me as one last jab to my heart. All I want is that one chance to get back at her. And that's the moment I see the car on the side of the road... and a woman sitting on the hood... crying...

I really can't even express how much I love this story. Bella and Zayne are the couple that was meant to meet and fall in love. It took a lot for them to get to the point that they finally met but , it was an epic meeting. Two people who have been hurt by the ones they loved and how they plot revenge….
This is my favorite of the St. Skin stories.
Love the St. Skin books. Every story has dirty sex and HEA.
Bella has been betrayed. She comes home from work early with the hopes of spending time with her boyfriend and finds him in bed with her best friend. She packs her bags and leaves heading nowhere and her car starts smoking. It's not a problem she hasn't come prepared for, since it's happened before. She wait for the car to cool down, then opens the trunk to get the water jug and it's empty finding a pin hole in it.
She climbs onto the hood of the car, smokes a cigarette and waits. She doesn't have anywhere to be so she just waits.
Zayne needs some space so he takes off on his motorcycle and just rides. When he sees a car up ahead on the side of the road. He stops, gets off and walks up to the front of the car and gets up on the hood sits down and asks, "Hey, darlin' you got a light."
Then she looks at him with tears on her face and hands him a lighter.
"Maybe that was the was the moment I started to fall in love with her."

Fun but deep, too

Nicely paced, characters were fun to read. Zayne & Bella definitely have some crap to get over before they get their HEA, & there is a blip in the story with one of my 'hard NO's happening. Normally, that would knock a story down a rating, but this was done well & didn't go into detail.

And I loved how the tattoos came into play! ☺

I'm ambivalent in some ways. Characters were engaging, the story was good the secondary characters intrigued me. The sex was hot.

Negs:
It needed more romance, less waffling. Some spelling/grammar/inconsistencies, for instance Bella thinks to herself where should she go when she leaves and muses about the small town she grew up in. Later, while talking to Zayne she says she was raised in the city. And for heavens sake could they just have said what they were actually thinking for once?

After meeting quick (she caught her boyfriend and best friend in bed then runs off with no destination in mind) they meet up and unrealistically she stays with him. Why was he so drawn to her? I didn't feel it at times. They have chemistry and attraction and nearly do the deed but she discovers he lied her about something and leaves. Then they both hook up with other people, ew. Not what I like.

Ok in the final analysis, not a bad story, it had elements I liked but could have been so much more.

I loved it! I fell in love with the story right at the beginning. They were all easiness and coolness even with their hearts broken and everything else falling apart.
Also, I loved the loyalty between the guys at St. Skin, I really enjoy this kind of friendship/loyalty.

"They guys at St. Skin would give you the shirt off their backs to help you, but they were rude, crude and didn't give a sh*t. They were hard to deal with. But they were wicked loyal."

Zayne and Bella meet during a crisis in Bella's life. She caught the only two people she trusted 'stabbing her in the back' so she did the only thing she could, at the moment. She fled. A during this search for something, she encounters Zayne. Bella is lost, nowhere to be, nowhere to go and no idea what she'll do with her life.
Zayne is still hunted by his past and the woman who broke his heart to pieces. He is just passing by, trying to figure something out, save money and move away from everything. Then, she meets the pretty girl at the side of the road, her car broke down and she is in the hood, crying.

"He stopped with just a foot between us. He was like a giant as he towered over me.
'You're broken down on the side of the road, nowhere to go, crying on the hood of your car. You're every guy's nightmare, darlin'.'
'Then you better run,' I said. 'Things could get really scary.'
Zayne grinned again. He reached for my face, gently touching my chin.
'I can handle scary. I'm not sure you can handle me.'"

Zayne just wanted to continue his life, trying to move on and forget his past. But life had other plans for both of them.

"And in some ways, I wanted to help her. Save her. Keep her from getting hurt again."
(...)
"From the second I met her on the side of the road. From the second I looked into her sad eyes. It just felt good to be near her."

This was a really sweet read. It was beautiful how they both were trying to move past their ghosts and move on with their lives. Bella finally stepped up and said everything she wanted to Parker and Abby, leaving them forever, only moving forward now.
Zayne was finally able to get off Steph's hook and forget about that bloodsucker.

The HEA was beautiful and really sweet. He small town so inviting, I love small towns.
I wish there were some more closure, like Bella's writing and if she continued with Donna.
Also, wish there was a book about Tate, he was great, loved him. Also, one about Prick, it would be funny to see him struggling with love.
Anyway, great read. Already added the rest of the series to my tbr. <3

Book: Lost, Found, Loved: A bad boy new adult romance novel
Series: A St. Skin Novel
Author London Casey/Karolyn James

These authors have done it once again. Lost, Found, Loved was a great 5+ star read.

Bella and Zayne’s story was great. We read about their journey and the fate that brings them together. Bella has been deeply hurt and takes off, that is until her car breaks down. Zayne is intrigued by Bella and convinces the mechanic to take his time on her broke down car so he can learn more about her.

These two find they have a lot in common and were perfect for each other. They have both been hurt deeply and want to get revenge on their exes. My emotions were all over the place with their story. There were definately ups and downs with these two and some lies here and there.
Can these two lower their walls and let each other in? Will they get the revenge they seek?

The secondary characters were great, I enjoyed seeing some of the past characters.
The sex scenes are scorching hot as usual and their chemistry was off the charts hot. I do have to say that the conclusion was great. I was very happy with the HEA. I can’t wait to read more from these authors. St. Skin is a must read series, each book can be read as a stand alone but why do that, start at the beginning and hold onto your seats.. 1-click and get started today.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book.

Bella has lost herself all because she was doing what her lying, cheating boyfriend wanted! She packs up some clothes and jumps in her car! Where she is going is not yet decided. When your having a bad day it seems everything is working against you. Her car overheats, the water container she keeps in the boot has a hole in it! Frustrated she sits on the hood, smokes and lets the tears fall! Zayne needs a break and where better to clear the cobwebs of the mind than hitting the open road on his bike. This is how and where he finds a broken hearted Bella! He has her towed into town and offers her his spare room until her car is repaired. Zayne has a proposal for Bella and not the will you marry me kind! He has been invited to his ex’s wedding and wants Bella to go with him wearing his ring! Through the journey of this story two lost people find one another but almost dismiss their love for being part of the illusion they are trying to portray.

Cliches that work!

They are familiar storylines...woman's car breaks down on side of road, guy on motorcycle rescues her, she becomes his fake fiancee.....but it works! What makes it so workable is the characters. Zayne is a tattoo artist and a temporary resident running from heartache. Bella is running from heartache too but her car won't let her get far.

I gave it 4 stars because it was sweet as were the characters. Probably only worth 3 but you should read this story and judge for yourself!

Sensational St. Skin!

I couldn't put this book down!! Finally Bella and Zayne's story all wrapped up in St. Skin glory! Perfectly flowing story and I loved the cameos of all my favourite St. Skin people!! I have to admit my heart was on a roller coaster, some twists I didn't expect.... even getting mad at one point.... wondering how it would all turn out. I loved the story from beginning to end..... only now I want more St. Skin!!!! I can't wait for the next one 😉. Thank you Jaxson Kidman ands London Casey!! 😘. ~ Angie❤️

Love these St. Skin books

These two author's never fail to deliver such good stories. I have read all of there books and have never been disappointed. You have two people who find each other while they have gone through something painful in there own lives and wind up helping each other out and finding themselves a x love at the same time. If you haven't read these authors it is defiantly worth your time.

Really enjoyed my first St Skin story. This second chance at finding the right person read was fast paced and very hot with extremely engaging characters and some ex's that have you scratching your head wondering "what were they thinking"? when they hooked up with these losers, however love wins out. Highly recommend.

Gotta say, I absolutely love Zayne. His story along with Bella was a perfect mix of sweet, sassy with some sexy added in the mix. Love the fact that there was closure from previous relationships. The only thing I missed with this story was an epilogue.

Zayne and Bella’s story was so different than the other St.Skin books... I missed the “past” and it took me a bit to get into it but I loved their chemistry... their plan annoyed me but it worked for the story.

So bad...

Well I'm sorry to say, but this was as bad as it was short, (which is very bad and very short, thankfully). Honestly I can't believe two authors wrote this... I'm not trying to be mean, but this feels like something they threw together in a few hours, without much thought or planning. Between the two of them, couldn't keep facts straight, like the names of the characters (the ex's new husband kept changing name), timeline, and many other details that kept changing. I wish that the two authors that wrote this, would have put a little more effort and worked on this a little more, to at least put out something better for the readers. I think we deserve better than this.
The dialogue was bad, like really awkward. There's no depth or character, development, no well thought out plot. The big confrontations with the ex's that was the whole point of the story, where really anticlimactic and disappointing, specially the wedding part.
The only good thing I can say, it's that it was so short, that I didn't waste too much time reading it.

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** This was my first St. Skin read & I loved it! So glad London/ Karolyn & Jaxson decided to remodel this story after the chapter serial. Bella has just been back stabbed by the two people she thought she could trust, her boyfriend & best friend. Now, she decides to make her escape from their betrayal but her luck has other plans, in the form of being stranded on the highway. Enter the lone wolf St. Skin floater, Zayne. There's something intriguing that each sees in the other, both at a crossroads of where to go in life since being hurt by their respective exs. This is definitely a soul searching, angsty read, sprinkled with a fake fiancee twist. How will Zayne & Bella find what they need to move on in their lives within each other? Great development of characters & loved the mention of previous characters. Even if you've never read the other books in this series, you're not lost in this world & you'll want to read the others. Would recommend :)

⭐Jaxson Kidman and London Casey have done it again!⭐

This is the fourth novel in the fantastic St. Skin series and it gives us Zayne and Bella's story. Once again, it does not disappoint!

This wonderfully written book had me gripped right from the start, when the two broken souls have a chance meeting at the side of the road. Their chemistry was instant and electric and through their ups and downs, they realise that they need each other to heal and get revenge on their exes.

I felt as though I was experiencing all of the emotions right along with the characters as they went through their journey together.

This book was emotional, romantic, hot and full of angst and I completely fell in love with Zayne. ❤️❤️

I thoroughly recommend this book along with the rest of the the books in the series, which can be read as standalones. Each one will leave you wanting more...I can't wait for another one! 😍

Gritty with soul searching never boring action.
Both broken by their pasts. He was used for his money and wildness. She was ignorant of her best friend and boyfriend's time togetherness. They both ran with little to their name. Hundred Falls Valley is where they rested at. Zayne ex outlaw MC member is now pitstopping at St. Skin with a working relationship with Tate, he not a full time employee but works it out with Tate. His goal- Miami.
Bella heartbroken from two people she cared for, now running away to hide and clear her head, but with a bad overheating problem in her car she was stranded on the side of the road outside of H. F. Valley until some biker stopped and see what is wrong.
Two broken hearts will find away to get closure they need from each other but at what costs. Will toxic feelings become the only things that will define their life or will it he the glue that bring them closer together and bury the past.

I'm wondering if I read the same book as everyone else because I don't get what they saw in either Zayne or Bella. I thought that they were both so pathetic. Bella was to the point of taking back her ex and forgiving her best friend. She had no back bone and just accepted the excuses that they gave her for cheating.
As for Zayne he was the gullible idiot that let his ex have everything and he just wanted to prove to her she didn't still have a hold on him. Even though he thought about screwing her on her wedding day just to prove a point.
I am so confused with these books in this series. These men are supposedly hot alpha guys and yet each one comes across wimpy.
I know these books are stand alone but when they connect in some way I wish the author would let you know what's happening in the other couples lives. You get a very small glimpse of them but no context. Very disappointing.

Beautiful Bella finds her boyfriend in bed with her best friend. She's devastated and gets in her car to put miles between them. Hot, tattooed Zayne is out for a ride on his bike to clear his head and he spots the car on the side of the road. There's just something about Bella and Zayne decides to help her out - thinking all along that maybe she can help him too. Their feelings are all over the place as they get to know each other, not really knowing what they are doing. They help the other get closure on their past loves - but nearly lose what they have in the process.

I fell in love with St. Skin all over again. It was great to catch glimpses of the crew, and it was awesome to meet Bella and understand Zayne better. The authors did an amazing job bringing these special characters to life. I loved Bella's and Zayne's story. I wish the book had never ended.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 4th book in the St. Skin series, and it is Bella and Zayne's story. Each book in this series can be read as a stand alone.

Bella and Zayne have both been hurt. As a result, they are both hiding from their past lives. When Bella's car breaks down, Zayne stops to help, and for reasons he can't explain, he is intrigued by her and wants to learn all of her secrets. Soon, a plan for revenge is born, and their lives will never be the same.

This story is great! Bella and Zayne are great characters, and let me just say, the chemistry between them nearly melted by kindle! I must confess that I haven't read the other books in this series, but you can rest assured that is about to change. This, my friends, is a must read series!

Reviewed on behalf of Through the Booking Glass blog

Lost, found, Loved you do not need to read the previous St Skin novels but I highly recommend it so that you get to know some of the characters.

This is about Bella who was on the run from her boyfriend when her car broke down. Zayne is a biker/tattoo artist who's running from his past. Zayne rescues Bella and decides to use her to get back at his ex. Together they decide to have a fake relationship to get back at their ex's.

Overall comments: I love the writing style, comes across as being raw. The story was written in a way to keep you interested. The "fake fiance" trope was written in a way that I found to be different, most likely from the writing style. I enjoyed this one and would definitely recommend it.

Another great story by London Casey and Jaxson Kidman involving another member from the St. Skin tattoo parlor. I was anxiously waiting to read the conclusion of Zayne and Belle's story from when it first started as a story through their weekly newsletter. I have read almost all the St.Skin books and I have loved them all. I love the these two writing style. They deliver emotional and hot steamy romances. Loved the storyline and the characters. Especially loved Belle's banter with the St. Skin crew. I can't get enough from this series and can't wait to read more. Once I start reading these I have a hard time putting them down.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.

The wolf & his butterfly

Yet another swoon worthy , heart wrenching St Skins novel .
Zayne & Bella have both been betrayed & used by the people you should be able to trust to always have your back .
After running to nowhere in particular Bella's car breaks down . A lone biker, Zayne, comes down the road. When he sees Bella he sees sadness & hurt in her . It's then that he realises that Bella could help him in his revenge.
During their time together Bella helps Zayne feel, & Zayne helps Bella take control of her life.
Such a brilliant read .
A St Skin man is for life, not just for Christmas 💖

I started reading this book when the authors offered weekly chapters through their newsletter and was crushed when they stopped. I'm so glad they finished the book and, yes, it was worth the wait. Zanye and Bella have booth been devastated by the people who were suppose to be "the love of their lives". Those people turned out to be self centered, egotists, who took and took and gave nothing but pain and devastation in their wake. Zanye wants to help Bella and she in turn wants to help him. Along the way, they find themselves and each other. Great read, so heartfelt and really tender at times. A great addition to the St Skin world.

This was a very touching, emotionally engaging story about betrayal and how it destroys more than the relationship. It is also about courage - and the will to move forward. When this happens, doors open, hearts expand and the possibility for something more than we ever expected can happen....and you might get a tattoo to signify the shift.

What a wonderful story...my heart is full and I am on my way to get more great stories by London Casey and Jaxson Kidman and certainly more about the St. Skin shop : ) You know that place is a warehouse of knowledge. The guys at St. Skin might "ink" on skin, but Casey & Kidman "ink" on the soul. Seriously hot!!!

Ok

This was ok. The h was weak and even at the end she was still not as strong as she should have been. I mean come on...if you were my bff there is no way you would have done me the way the h so called bff did...the h gave her hope that they maybe friends down the line, which was bs. I believe in forgiveness, you have to forgive in order to be forgiven (some of you may understand that and some of you may not) also it's not healthy to carry a grudge, but that part was missing real and honest feeling.

Totally Love 💘 this story about Bella and Zayne. These two are kind of lost souls, having had bad break ups. When Bella's car breaks down and she is sitting on the hood of her car trying to figure out what to do next, the last thing she expects is a hot tatted biker God to stop and help her. The song the zips through Day he when he see this beautiful damsel in distress he know his life is about to change. These two have a sizzle about them and once they ignite it there is no turning back, but they both have been burns can they see pass that hurt to see what is standing in front of them.

A book built entirely around lies and the need for payback. Zayne was a gorgeous, strong character for everyone but himself and struggled with his need for revenge. Bella was a sweet door mat who needed Zayne's strength to help her find her backbone and her place in the world. There's a lot of heartache and living in the past in this book with a side of hope for the future.
Small Spoiler.....I did keep expecting them to find all that they needed in each other and rise above their need for payback.

Bella and Zayne are kismet! These two characters meet during very low times in each of their lives but together manage to find happiness. It has to be fate! The characters of this book, much like all of the St. Skin characters are easily relatable to anyone who's ever suffered through heartbreak or been down on their luck. Bella and Zayne fumble through recovering from heartache and deceit by basically using one another. This story is unexpected, unconventional, and unbelievably AMAZING!
