I would imagine regardless of the number of years you have been riding, if you are just now becoming interested in evaluating your riding technique, or analyzing your riding skills in relation to how your horse responds, then this book might be helpful. However, do note this is a beginning book. But, it might get you started on you journey. Good resources are included.
