Following a viral outbreak, many of the infected begin to turn into something other than human. Wicked is the story of a small group of survivors in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. This desperate group of strangers will now come together and survive the end of the world, if they can. Meanwhile, some of the wicked retain the ability to reason, and the dead have their own agenda.

I like zombie stories, and this one was good, because the setting was an area that I am familiar with.
I did not like Derick. Without giving away any details, I thought he was ok at first, but he made detestable decisions throughout the story that gave me little reason to sympathize with him.
I think Carlos was one of the most interesting, honorable and true to self characters in the story. I did like him, and would like to see where his life took him beyond Wicked.
