Liked series alright... but Xander King is sort of a Hound Dog, sleeping with women, and then moving on, I get that he does not want to get anyone involved in his secret . Every women sounds exactly the same...I know there are bound to be some smart women in his books ( at least I hope so) He serves the country for sure, but the descriptive passages of his job and the results get to be a bit bloody and gory it is the same in each book.

Great action.
Great action book. But once again, every woman in this book, no matter her skills and intelligence, is described by her looks. The two main male characters are written men who view women only as something to be oggled and mounted.This type of writing is no different from the James Bond, Shaft, and Pulp novels written before women were liberated. I'm very disappointed with the characterization of all the female characters as 'gorgeous, breathtaking, sexy, and desirable". Bradley Wright shows exactly how he sees women. Sexually desirable, and by the way, capable too. The constantly repeated rapes with humiliating urine douses, are another indicator of the authors' misogyny. 3 Thumbs down on these novels from this woman, and action novel fan. Will not purchase B. Wright again.

Just Fantastic!!
I have just been on the edge of my seat through this entire series and the first three book right out the gate are just omg! I love that we get not only an alpha male the is so good and sexy that he leaps off every page. The fact the his close friend is so kick a$$ you can only just cheer every time she saves the day. The best friend is everything you want and he rises to the occasion every time. The writer gives us not only some of the best writing that's been a long time coming. This rag tag group is just what you want,can like and cheer for. I think Samantha got a raw deal,she was and is just right for Xander. They make you think of that old show (Hart to Hart),only they are the 2.0 version. If you want the ride of a life time,this is the series for you and boy do you want to ride!

I found the narrative in these books really generic. More importantly, Xander King is billed as "Jack Reacher meets James Bond" and, while that does actually seem true, it's not a good combo. Xander is as blunt as Reacher, but everyone treats him like he's as suave and charismatic as James Bond. Bad jokes have rooms full of people cracking up, women instantly fall for cheesy flirtations, etc. Overall, I just couldn't get into it.

This series is action packed. The fights are well choreographed and sometimes unbelievable. Xander should join the Avengers. I did not like the love triangle. Viktor is a hoot and great comic relief. The series is truly entertaining with many parts simply unbelievable.

Mixed Genre
A mix in my mind of 60 percent Rambo- 25 percent "stud"- 13 percent Bruce Wayne and 2 percent God Father. The first 20 or so chapters of book 2 were virtually all " stud"

One of the best box sets you could buy!!! You will not be disappointed by Xander King! If you could take James Bond, Jason Bourne and Mitch Rapp, mix them together, you might get someone as bad a$$ as Xander King!

Good, better, best
These prequel series stories are a delightful way to learn background on the characters that I have already read. Mr. Wright is an excellent writer. I love his fight scenes. Read and enjoy.

Short and sweet
A quick read but very good. Kept my attention. Sander and Sam are a good team. Surprised it was so short but it was very interesting.

Awesome book,
I loved everything about this book. It took me right there with them it hit all my emotions. I could only hope another book out. Great job.
