Kate Benson has once again written a fantastic story. The Confession is Drake and Ana story following on from where The Sacrifice finished. Can time heal? That’s what Drake and Ana try to find out in their own ways! You get to read about some of the other characters too. This is my most favourite series. Kate never fails to get you gripped into the story and have you feeling how each character is feeling. The Queen of cliffy’s has strived again!!

I only have one word to describe The Confession by Kate Benson…”INCREDIBLE.” Benson’s talent truly shines in every page throughout the book!
The Confession picks up right where the previous book, The Sacrifice, ended. Drake and Analise are broken, and it will take everything they have within themselves to find their way back to one another. Along the way, we discover what is going on in the lives of those that love Ana and Drake. Because what has occurred between Ana and Drake affects Chase, Sophie, Jack, and Jenna.
I can always count on Benson to evoke emotions from me, but she truly outdid herself in this one. My heart was broken because her characters have become like family to me. I have been invested in them since I read The Promise years ago. The journey each of them has taken hasn’t always been an easy one, but I have certainly enjoyed taking the ride with them.
The book is told from several POVs with each character having their own story to tell. I find it amazing that each one involves a confession of sorts. While we get a look into each of their lives, it never takes away from the fact that this is Drake and Analise’s story. What they are enduring truly impacts the others and the decisions and views they have on life.
Benson’s writing is so unique in that she is a wonderful storyteller and gives you an incredible book, but her writing is like poetry in the way she writes. She utilizes all sorts of imagery that connects me with the storyline and the characters. The characters do endure obstacles and hurt at times, yet she somehow turns it into such a beautiful story. If you haven’t discovered the gem that is Kate Benson, you really need to read her novels. She never disappoints, and I can’t wait to see what is in store for the Ana, Drake, Sophie, Chase, Jack, Jenna, and even Matt because there were surprises along the way!!!!

This latest installment of The Promise series did not disappoint! If you haven’t read the other books before this one- go ahead and buy it but get the others as well!! Then binge read them all together.
My mistake was only re reading book 7 before starting this. I am kicking myself for not starting from the beginning and going on this journey all over again.
After book 7 left my heart pounding I wasn’t sure where Kate would pick up with this one but never fear- Mrs Benson/- as usual brought her A game.
The dynamic between the characters was as real as it gets and extremely well written. I still don’t know how she gets me so invested in these people but she does!!
Without giving away too much information I will say that I laughed a little more than I usually do thanks to my boy Matt but that angsty, gut wrenching thing my belly does was very much working on overtime. Of course I expected nothing less. I will also say that as a reader I appreciate how she transitions to the other characters so easily and doesn’t take away from the focus of Drake and Ana.
Book 9 can’t get here soon enough!!!!

Totally loved how this story turned out, Kate brought to life each of her characters in this. They each have their own struggles and wants and you get lost in the read hoping they find their way. Ana and Drake are the main story line and she doesn't disappoint with leaving you anxious and worried on where their relationship will end up. I always say when I read one of Kate's stories you find yourself engrossed to the point where you feel you are a part of it. Great Job and Highly recommend.

Kate has done it agian. She has managed to keep me on the edge of my seat, reading the confession cover to cover in no time!!! The confession is very well written just as the whole promise series. The detail given within Kate's writing will leave u feeling like these characters are part of your life! If your looking for a personal escape the promise series was mine!!! Beyond excited to see what the future holds for all of these amazing characters! Now Im left to anxiously await the submission!!

She done did it again
Omg she has done it again i wait for her next book all the time i dont know how she does it cause i never use to be someome who would sit and read but with her books i cant wait until i get off work just so i can read her book i dont ever want to but it down when i pick it up i just want to keep on reading and then when i get to the end i am always like oh no she did it again with the Cliffhanger ending always never fails so i am sitting here waiting on her next book

I'm so happy to be back in the world of Drake and Ana. Its been a while but let me just say it was well worth the wait. Kate Benson has written a fantastic story that will send you on an emotional journey, you will cry and laugh as you turn the pages to find out if Drake and Ana get a second chance whilst also catching up on the comings and goings of the rest of the gang.

The Promise Series has always been very dear to me and easily one of my all time favorite series! I’ve loved each book just as much as the one before it, but The Confession may just be my most favorite now! This is a story that makes you feel every emotion the characters do, right down to your bones! Whether you’re laughing til you cry, or hysterically sobbing your eyes out, the real feelings that come from this book are just amazing! I don’t think I could love it any more!

I have no words to describe what Kate has me feeling. Drake and Ana are everything to each other and more. Their story is truly just beginning and it left me drained and emotional. I love this series and how Kate puts so much into her characters. You won't be disappointed with this book.

Oh my heart
When we left the sacrifice, I didn't think that my heart would ever recover. Ending it on such a cliffhanger was tourcher and now the wait is finally over. I found myself torn between taking my time and savouring each of these words or devouring the book as quickly as possible. Of course the book didn't allow for me to stop so with a half neglected child and dog I forged through. There have been tears, there has been laughter and there has been alot more tears.
If you have never experienced real grief before you truly won't understand what I will say, but what this author has managed to put into words is pain at its core. You feel the anguish as if it is your own. Your heart is aching for these characters as if the pain is yours to feel. You can feel the soul of the author coming through with every word written and you know she has left a piece of herself in these pages.
The confession is amazingly well written and I am truly honoured to have been taken on this journey with this wonderful author.
Five stars will never be enough for this masterpiece but that's all I am allowed to give! For now I wait with bated breath for the next installment of this amazing series.

Dont stop now!
I chose this book because i've akready fallen in love with the characters in the first 6 books. This book is heart wrenching and funny all at the same time. I simply could not put it down! You did it again Kate Benson! Thanks for taking us along on this journey!

You got me hooked again!
Once again you had me wanting to finish fast but then slow down and savour each sentence. Love me some Drake and Ana. I also love that you keep us updated on the whole family. Another 5 star for me. Can't wait for more.

While Drake Mitchell is on the warpath to find Analise, the other family members are battling their own inner turmoil with the consequences of Ana’s disappearance. We revisit the lives of Chase, Sophie, Jack & Jenna. We see if true love will overcome the feelings of anger, fear, guilt & disappointment. And in this book we feel the devastation of Drake, broken & incomplete without his Ana by his side. The author’s writing has you feeling Drake’s loss & frustration, a contradiction to his strong, confident demeanor. An amazing continuance of the series. Anxiously waiting for the next book!

After The Sacrifice I was so mad at you Kate Benson, but thank you for The Confession. There is still so much more to this series and all these characters, but for Drake and Ana I can now at least take a breath. Bring on The Submission......please don’t make us wait too long.

The trials and tribulations of Drake and Analise makes this a real page turner. The ups and downs of marital life complicated by mental health while trying to keep things on an even keel. Family and friends trying to assist with the work load and a terrible misunderstanding makes you want to keep on reading and not putting the book down.

As with every book in this series I was blown away with Kate ability to bring readers to their knees.
Then she managed to throw me completely off my axis. I did not see where this book would lead and I couldn't breath while comprehending the turn of events. It’s truly a emotional roller coaster with every page turned.
This is a love story that is so full of inspiring love, lots of dirty talk (OMG.. GO BABY),and hope that I know it will remain with me for a very long time.
Kate Benson’s words have a way of making you feel every single agony, every single heartbeat, every single butterfly...and they were many. This is a story of healing, and finding your way home.

Oh no
OMG...... I need the next book, this book was better then the last one, I think because it was mainly about Drake and Ana, which is what ai wanted Matty and Heather was funny think theres definitely a story there, and is Sophie pregnant???? Hope I don't have to wait to long for the next book.

This book was pure and beautiful I absolutely loved it from start to finish the characters are so well written and the book kept me hooked from start to finish I would definitely recommend.10 out of 10 for me.
