I got won over with Emma after reading Grant Morrison's X-Men run and really wanted to read and know more of her, and thought this was a decent enough spot to begin.
The art can be rather inconsistent with how Emma looks at times and that throws me off a little. I think some captions could be done without as it sounds rather stereotypical and cheesy at the beginning.
But for the start of Emma's origins it ain't bad at all.

Wow I genuinely hate her father? And why her teacher is so fucking weird? And fuck Matilda and also Christian seems cute why isn’t he mentioned a lot in her life later (the five stars are for emma herself.)
