This is a beautiful contemporary retelling of the book of Hosea. It's a light Christian fiction read that portrays a deep message of God's love through a charming story. It's a beautiful love story and so much more. Definitely worth the read for Christians and non-Christians alike.

“Jack’s Story” captures the true meaning of fulfilling God’s wishes and put our own feelings and own wishes aside to remember it is God’s will, God’s plan. Jack’s plight parallels Hosea’s plight in the Book of Hosea. God picks out the wife for both men. A prostitute. Can the marriage to a prostitute end in happiness? I recommend everyone read the short story and learn of God’s love and putting our faith in him.
