The recital is a success, Madoka returns to the Dates, but only to serve Ryu divorce papers. She wants to be set free. Koharu tries to change her mind, while the others accept Madoka's request with barely any resistence. Ultimately, they sign the papers. Ryu takes it hard. So hard that he can't get hard, if you know what I mean.

The mayor invites Ryu to a party where he meets other men with harem marriages. He invites them to the second marry-thon where they can choose among over 100 single women. Not many other men signed up, so the mayor needs to raise their number. Koharu believes it's not proper to attend, while Yuzu is in favor of it, so the two get into a fight. Ryu decides to go, to Yuzu and the mayor's delight. The Date family visit the mayor's house where Koharu learns that Yuzu actually appreciates her presence, though they are often at each other's necks.

The marry-thon is a tiring affair for Ryu, until he meets a young woman who piques his interest. She is Misuzu Tachibana, a single mother. Koharu is against her from the start, but knows she has no say in the matter. After the event, several women choose to visit Ryu's home. Yuzu tries to make escuses for their poorly furnished home. While Ryu and Yuzu entertain the guests, Koharu takes a break. Misuzu does the same and the two get along nicely, partly thanks to Misuzu's daughter Miku.

And so Madoka leaves the group! Yep, it is divorce time and my heart broke, especially since this isn't just a decision Ryuunosuke has to make... also his wives have to sign the divorce paper. :( We see that Ryuunosuke has some problems afterwards and keeps seeing Madoka everywhere, which was pretty sad for his other wives when he had, or tried to have, sex with them. He couldn't even get it up. Oops.
But now we are entering a new arc, and I am not sure how I feel about it. Koharu is a bit over the top dramatic, and she is that always but in this one she went just too far in my feeling. Yes, it is a bit early to find a new wive... however if Ryuunosuke wants it? Why stop it? Plus, as Yuzu also stated it may help with the chores and the house stuff. Makes things lighter and easier.
I so so so don't trust that woman. Why does the kid have cigarette burns on her back? What is her plan?

I’m getting bored but I still want to know the ending. Why do some authors drag series out??? 10 volumes or less please!
