Instant Focus is what I needed and Instant Focus is what I got with this great book that delivers 23 strategies on imrpving concentration, saving time and focusing on less instead of more. For someone who struggles daily with sticking to one thing, I needed a book that compiled a collection of the best productivity tactics out there.
My favorites that are proven to be the best for getting results are: — Create Daily Goals — Create Public Accountability — Batch Tasks — Don't Do It Lists — Protect Your Time — ABCDE Priorities — Live In Your Calendar
Being more productive while maintaining good efficiency is becoming harder to master these days with so much going on. Without a system in place and the strategies to manage our time and resources, we will lose our ability to complete even the simplest of tasks. That is why I recommend you pick up this book and start by saving yourself time and energy.
Your output will double, and the time wasted chasing rabbits will dramatically decrease. You can punch out your procrastination once and for all and become more "Superhuman" after reading this!
Sometimes we need a book to remind us of the constant struggle of procrastination and the fight to maximize productivity. This book was exactly that for me.
This was pretty good. No filler, good strategies, readable in two hours, with a handy summary of the 27 'tweaks' at the conclusion. If you have read other time management/ productivity books this probably won't add much to your knowledge base, but this now is the book I'll recommend to anyone starting out to improve their productivity for the first time.
I was concerned when I started this book that his list of 23 ideas would be trite, but rather each chapter was relevant to my life. I just finished the book this afternoon and while not every idea will stick with me, I’ve already found myself practicing some of his intriguing methods.
This is an amazing book for giving you productivity tools and ideas towards improving productivity. Not much fluff or silliness. Introduces some new concepts. Good stuff.
I purchased a series of books by the author Patrick King. He is a conversation, updating, interpersonal coach. I found his books to be straightforward, well written, with practical tips on improving on the given topic. (Note I’m giving the same review to all of the books I’ve read for him except for one).
There are far better books about productivity, such as "Getting Things Done" by David Allen and "A Year of Productivity". This book does present 27 tweaks (as promised in the title). My default rating is 3 stars. This is solidly written and does nothing special: 3 Stars.
