Yoshiko's no fool. Wait, no. That's exactly what she is. After her latest preternaturally dismal performance on their midterm exams, the long-suffering Akkun takes it upon himself to investigate training options for the wayward girl. After all, dogs can be trained--and surely Yoshiko is smarter than a dog. Surely.
The 5th volume, I got a few more left before I am done with what I have. Definitely don't want it to end though. Yes, this series is at times quite cringy and at times just wrong, at least it feels wrong. I stick to my point that Yoshiko's mom should be in freaking jail for what she does and how she manipulated her kid. Akkun isn't always better, he is quite violent with Yoshiko and in this one we see how it all started. Dang Akkun's mom, you can see that your kid is clearly uncomfortable... why are you cooing and oohing. In this one we also have a birthday (and lots of hilarity surrounding that), the dog and Yoshiko's henchman get close after a bumpy start which had me laughing, there is a reference to Youkai Watch which made me happy as I love that game (the show sadly not so much), stalker head monitors who are apparently smart (though the scene also made me uncomfortable), and there is more.
Aho-Girl: A Clueless Girl, Vol. 5 (My Kindle Review)
We see our brainless protagonist scaring off an insurance saleswoman, fighting her mother when her father who works out of town visits and meets her match with a determined fisherman. Her faithful Doggy has his own excellent adventure. B (75%/Good)
