This was on kindle unlimited so somewhere it caught my eye. Sometimes I wonder why I pick these books. First off all a Billionaire living with his mother! Seriously at one point says he can't stay in his room any longer! Like what he is in high school? And oh my gosh Hannah, her mother no guests in the house! Again how old are these people? This story was weak and almost like they all deserved each other. Hannah and Logan grow up together, best friends etc, go to prom but he finds out at prom that he got the head cheerleader pregnant so he leaves Hannah at the prom......she then flees town, he marries the head cheerleader and they have a daughter who is now 7 and Hannah accidentally mistakes her for one of Logan's brothers kid. Did I say I didn't like any of these characters and to top it off they are both standing up in a wedding and have to help the bride and groom who are conveniently out of town. The only redeeming character was the taxi cab driver and that not saying much.

This was like a bad hallmark movie... The writing had promise but the cheese and the main character were just too much for me. The parents were also getting on my nerves. Just not a book for me

This was a bit of a sad story in my opinion. Logan leaves his best friend Hannah at the Prom with no explanation shortly after kissing her for the first time. Hannah decides to go live with her Dad as she is hurt by Logan but her Mom is also upset with her for something completely different. After she graduates she leaves the area. After 7 years away she comes home for Christmas for the first time. Her boyfriend just proposed marriage and in a classic Hannah move she went running away to figure things out. But she has to try to work things out with her Mom and she also ends up facing Logan. She discovers she still has feelings for him. Logan also never got over Hannah but he has to try to gain Hannah’s trust and admit to her the reason he left her at Prom all those years ago. It is a sweet, clean romance with imperfect people making some kind of dumb decisions.

Hannah and Logan were once best friends on their way to becoming so much more -- until Logan humiliated her at the prom and Hannah ran away. Now it's 7 years later and Hannah is running away again - but this time she's running from a different guy and her running has landed her right next door to Logan. Logan is now divorced with a young girl and is ready to tell Hannah the truth about what happened at prom all those years ago. I loved the Logan wasn't a typical billionaire (if there is such a thing) - he has a billion dollars sitting in the bank but he feels a little guilty about it and doesn't really know what to do with it.

Hannah left home after being humiliated at prom by her best friend Logan. She’s been away 7 long years and has returned to spend the holidays with her parents and try to repair her relationship with her mother. Logan is a divorced single father who had never gotten over his crush on Hannah or what happened at prom and is trying to deal with unexpectedly becoming a billionaire. When Logan finds out that Hannah has returned he wants to tell her the truth about prom but she doesn’t want to hear it. Things get even crazier when his ex-wife comes back and wants to be a family again. Can Hannah and Logan get over the past, through the present and create a future together?

This is the first book that I have read by Anne-Marie Meyer and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a clean romance that has great character development and a very cute storyline. Logan is a great guy with a delightful daughter named Piper. Hannah has a chip on her shoulder about her past and can’t decide what to do about her future. All of the characters in this book are far from perfect people and therefore very realistic. There are a couple of twists in the plot that I had guessed at before they came about but that didn’t make me enjoy the story any less. This is a good one and I had a hard time putting it down.

This was a great story. there are a lot of emotions in this story. I loved how Logan was trying to keep his wealth a secret and his mother was telling everyone. Hannah was finally coming home for Christmas to try to work on her relationship with her mother. Hannah and Logan were high school lovers but Logan screwed up and instead of telling Hannah the truth he just left her. Hannah left town and hasn't returned for a long time. Now those feelings are coming back to both of them and Logan has to figure out a way to get Hannah to trust him again. Then his ex-wife comes back because she heard about his wealth and wants it and is making trouble for Logan and Hannah. Hannah's way of dealing with things is to run away so she does that again. Will Logan get to her and convince her to trust him again and that he has always loved her? Will Hannah ever admit that she is truly in love with Logan and loves his daughter Piper or will she marry her boyfriend that she ran away from when he proposed?

It was a cute and quick read. I did enjoy the characters. The plot had a point the got to me through. Logan left her at the prom and she could not forgive him and runs away for seven years. When the reason why he left the prom was revealed, I would have been even more upset if I was Hannah. She seemed more forgiving for THAT!!!! The reason why seemed more of a betrayal than leaving the prom. I mean come on, he had feelings for Hannah why did Logan do what he did? There was never an explanation except for his was young and a fool.

I did enjoy the book. I am older and realize that even though I may not agree with something, it doesn't stop me from enjoying it. The book is fiction after all and meant for enjoyment and an escape.

A bit too wordy at times

I like this book. But there are some scenes that are elaborated too much. So much so that I felt bored. The story isn't as crisp as the YA romance by Anne.

I always enjoy a second chance romance. This one was a sweet, clean story about best friends, Hannah and Logan, who grew up next door to each other but haven’t seen each other in seven years. Not since the night their friendship almost turned into more, the night Logan left her alone at the prom without explanation. Because of this and a falling out with her mom, she left town and has only come back after all these years as a way to escape a proposal from her boyfriend that she’s not sure she wants to accept.

Logan and Hannah’s friendship was sweet. When they crawled out their windows and sat on the roof together like they did when they were young, it reminded me of Dawson’s Creek. I enjoyed seeing them find their way through to the truth of what happened in the past that kept them apart and on to their happily ever after.

I didn't realize that this book was the miscommunication trope. The mc is annoying and always tends to run away from her problems and I was so glad to see some semblence of a character development( though it was in the very end).
The mc and her mother had some kind of falling out but the reason is not addressed in the book. They do want to improve their relationship but much work was not put into it except a few heart to heart convos.
It was described as a Christmassy story but the only times Christmas was mentioned was when they had to decorate the tree and when the ex-wife trying to manipulate the love interest.
I loved the cab driver. I felt that it was kind of an allusion to the readers. We try to guess what has happened and what's going to happen, even helping the characters to realise that they love each other. His character added some light and comedic relief too.

Love A Second Chance Romance.

This is my first book by Anne-Marie Meyer and I loved it. I am a sucker for second chance romances especially when there is angust involved. Logan and Hannah together were the perfect couple if only they could see it. It broke my heart at how they were apart all those years and the obstacles they had to overcome to be a couple. Piper was oh so cute and smart for her age and as for Charity she was a b--ch with a capital B.

This was a sweet second chance romance. He left her at their prom. So she took off not to be seen for seven years. Now back to see her mother she ends up seeing him again. But he has baggage...His daughter, and crazy ex. She also has someone else. But are they the right ones. There is much going on. She gets roped into being a classmates maid of honor to his best man to the groom. The ex shows up and wants him back. What will happen when secrets and lies come to light? Will they get their HEA ending?

Cute story about second chances

Hannah and Logan lived next door growing up. They dated in high school and fell in love. The day of prom things got crazy and both went their separate ways. Flash forward 7 years. Hannah comes back for Christmas. Logan happens to still be next door. It is a crazy emotional story with a lot of ups and downs. Love Bert the taxi driver and Piper the little girl also. Her mom is rough at first but later changes. His ex and her fiance are crazy ones. Love the ending to this book.

I liked the premise of the story and, for the most part, enjoyed reading it. However the writing style, more telling than showing, made it difficult to truly engage with the characters. Also the main characters were a bit too nice. So nice in fact that it wasn’t difficult to believe that they’d be easily manipulated by others. Notwithstanding the above, I’m prepared to try another book in this series.

This is the story of Hannah and Logan. They are two people with a lot of secrets in their pasts. They grew up living next door to each other and were bf's, until the night of the Prom. The next day Hannah moved out of her Moms house and out of town to live with her Dad. It's now 7 years later and Hannah is back to try and mend fences with her Mom.
Can Logan. And Hannah find their way back or is it too late?

A beautiful well written old best friends second chance romance.  This engaging storyline had two broken people reuniting after years. A wonderful journey of them getting past the hurts, humuliation, trust and insecurities to have a HEA.  The characters were fun, interesting, well developed with undeniable hot chemistry.  A clean fun second chance. The narrator does an amazing job of bringing the story to life and character differences

Crazy Street

In her it a billion dollars, Check. Win back the girl you always loved, just a little harder when everyone conspires against you, and the words I Love You don't flow from your tongue, never mind the fact she will not be quiet long enough to get them out. Add to that the daughter she never knew about and a crazy selfish ex wife. Life can seem insurmountable at times. Clean quick read.

Forgiving the Billionaire was entertaining. The plot was interesting as well as the characters. The book seemed to read like a shortened version and seems it needed more detail as to the events. I found it interesting that Hannah's mother's profession was not identified. She worked in a hospital but her profession was not mentioned nor was much detail as to occupations or interests of the other characters.

I usually love this author’s books, but this one wasn’t up to par. For example, I’ve never hated a kid in a book before, until Piper, every scene she’s in I end up feeling like smacking her on the back of her head. The mothers here were also annoying, I understand the heroine’s mother difficult character but what’s with the billionaire’s mother? The plot is good but the writing style was predictable and filled with clichés.

I enjoyed reading this second chance romance. Loaded with passion, love and emotion that will leave you crying, smiling, laughing and coming back for more. The author did a good job telling the story to keep your interest. The characters are interesting and captivating. I will look forward to reading more from this author. Family and Friends

A good story. It was nice to read a love story without having to see a lot of sex in it. This tale was not bland. It was about a girl and young man parting because of a misunderstanding. She goes off to ew York and he marries someone else. Years later she comes home. All I have to say is that it becomes very interesting from there.

A second chance love story. I was frustrated that she ran and he didn't try to explain but they were teenagers but... It is 7 years later and Hannah has finally come home. Logan's ex was a piece of work. Loved the daughter. A book about forgiveness, reconciliation between family and friends. Can these two finally stop running and really talk?

What a wonderful story.

When reading a book I find that if it has a lot of typos i have a hard time reading it. This book had no typos so was easy reading. But typos isn't the only reason why I liked this book so much. The book had a nice story behind it. You know you have read a good book if your trying to find the next book about Hannah and Logan. Good clean book to read.

I just loved the way Anne-Marie Meyer wrote this twisted tale and how love wins out for this couple. The supporting characters input is so special. I loved meeting Bert and Piper and the other characters in this difference type of billionaire book.

I love a great billionaire romance!

If there's one fantasy any "regular" girl can have, it's a good, clean billionaire romance. Throw in just the right amount of torment and a happily ever after and I'm set. Ms. Meyer's characters and plot line were possibly the best. This book will definitely be going on my "read again" shelf.

This definitely had a different tone than your average billionaire romance, which I really loved. Logan inherited the money from his father but doesn't feel comfortable with it. Hannah doesn't even know about the money for most of the story, and it is clear she loves Logan for who he is. Piper was a great addition to the story.

A fun, but sometimes frustrating book. I loved Hannah and Logan, but I often wanted to scream at Hannah. As frustrating as she could be though, she was also sweet and wonderful. I'm grateful Logan was never willing to give up. I really enjoyed this book and read it in one night.

A story of willingness to address past wrongs and create a better relationships in more than one area of your life. Appreciated the taxi cab driver's 'free' counseling sessions. Refreshing to read a 'clean' romance.
