Anik Khan born on 13 September. According to his passport, on 1984. He is a Virgo. Anik Khan started writing regularly from 1998. According to him, "aNIK KHAN is an inferior poet; a writer of indifferent verse".He started with poems. His first ever original writeup was published in UNMAD magazine titles- 'Anik's Sher'. Since then he has been writing Shers (couplets) for countless publications. His couplets are better known as 'sms poems'.
Apart from love poems he has also written political, social poems and rhymes for kids. He has written for Daily Prothom ALo, Daily Bhorer Kagoj, Daily Jaijaidin, Daily Jonokontho, Daily Jugantor, Daily Manobjomin, Daily Amar Desh, Kishore Tarokalok, Shishu, Toitumbur, Hottogoal & many other national dailies, weeklies, monthlies. He has also written for many eid & puja publications, little magaiznes and many special publications.
Besides UNMAD, Anik Khan has worked in Daily Jaijaidin as a sub-editor. As an Assistant Editor has worked for Science Fiction Magazine MOULIK, Automotive Magazine AUTOLINE & Monthly Travel and Fashion.
