J.M Walker (Part Of The Blame It On Fate An Anthology)
A HUGE fan of J.M Walker, the excitement when On A Whim fell into my kindle was no surprise.
J.M has never failed in her ability to capture me from the very beginning to end with her words and her novels.
And J.M has done it again.
On A Whim....Guys what can I say other than this was absolutely fantastic.
We meet Kiki.
A single Mum, nearing thirty, independent and very successful, Kiki has everything she could ask for. Working as a graphic designer, designing book covers for authors she's happy. But relationships are a no go zone.
Past hurt has caused Kiki to stay very much single.
And to top it off, she still holds her 'V' card.
Yes you read that right guys.
But Kiki's life is about to change.
Her whole world will be tilted on it's axis.
And why?
Because Bo, the sexy, delicious and highly successful author is going to change everything. He is going to blow her mind and there's isn't a thing Kiki can do about it.
Or is there?
Guys you need to read this. Light-hearted, sinfully delicious, humour packed and all things naughty, On A Whim is a read not to be missed. Everything you could ask in a novel, On A Whim is just brilliant.
I fell in love with both Kiki and Bo, but lets not forget Chaz. He's all kinds of hilarious and a girls best friend.
J.M again has delivered an exceptional read that shouldn't be missed.
But be warned....
You will never look at wet bread the same again!!

A cheery, sinfully delicious, packed with humour, & a bit risqué story that keeps you captivated until the end. I love that this novel is based on the book world & the fact that the author herself is a graphic book cover designer herself makes it all the more appealing & so damn cute.

A wonderful collection of romance stories and a bargain to discover some new authors. Fated romance between all these characters gives you hope that someone is out there. Not all smooth sailing but a rocky romance leading to a HEA is a good story.
Highland Oath (Highland Treasure Book 1) by C.A. Szarek
A time travel romance, I always love these. A female surgeon is sucked back in time to the 17th century in Scotland. Mmmmm men in kilts, say no more. Will her skills be useful there? You'll be wondering if she'll fall in love and decide to stay. What use is a surgeon without her advanced hospital? Time will tell.
Undeniable Fate (Undeniable Series Book 1) by Mia London
Strangers on a plane then circumstances have them in the same hotel room. Are they fated to be together. The connections continued throughout the story even after they said goodbye. Is this brief affair meant to last a lifetime?
Temptations of Christmas Future (A Christmas Carol Book 3) by Lexi Post
I love this series, I hope it tempts you to go back and read the first 2.
Two spirit guides go down to visit this woman who has stopped 'living' after losing her husband. It's been a few years now and she needs to move on and live her life. These two spirit guides were getting way more action than her. Who knew you could have so much fun in the afterlife. This was a fun read, I was more invested in the spirits than the widow.
Claiming Emerson by Heather Miles
This was a woman who was more like a possession to be owned by man after man.
She needed to find herself, to love herself and stop being clingy.

I was glued to this one, it was amusing. Road rage, a fated accident brings two people together. It was all so quick, instant lust or love and a stalker thrown in. Was it flash bang and all over so quick or would they find their way.

I think this may have been my favourite. Something we readers fantasize about meeting authors..actually I have met a lot and mostly women. BDSM is not my thing to read about but it just played a minor role in this plot. It was fun and romantic and I really enjoyed it.

Undeniable Fate by Mia London
Lily is facing the loss of her job with aplomb and is keeping her concerns to herself. She loves herjob but when a takeover is in the works, she knows that her job is on the line. She is determined to leave on a high and ensure that whoever gets her job will have a seamless transfer and that all her contacts will be left in safe hands.
On her final trip to Italy to meet suppliers she is shocked to find herself seated next to an absolute traffic stopping gorgeous guy. He is obviously well established but is neither standoffish nor in-your-face with his wealth. They spend the flight chatting like old friends and she is quite sad to lost sight of him at the airport.
Brandon has never enjoyed a flight so much. Lily clearly had no idea who he was and that was such a refreshing change from the usual gold-diggers or networkers. He sees the care and professionalism but also human touch that she could bring to her job and really would love to get to know her better.
Enter Fate! It not only puts them in the same hotel but accidentally puts them (temporarily) in the same room! As Brandon and Lily decide to spend more time together, their short time in Italy flies by but when Brandon make their goodbye a bit ...weirdly business like, Lily leaves brokenhearted.
But Fate is not yet finished with these two!
Oh this was a fantastic read. I loved that Lily is a strong, independent business woman and whilst she has a healthy regard for hard work and doing well for yourself, money is not her god and she is no social climber..quite the opposite in fact. Brandon is used to getting what he wants but again is not the monster megalomaniac that other CEOs could be!
Fab read and I can't wait to find out if this will spawn into a series!

Highland Oath (Highland Treasure Book 1) by C.A. Szarek
First time reading this author and the genre isn't one that I am usually attracted to, but this story kept my attention and makes me want to know more of the entire stories of the characters involved. I was torn while reading this story because it did remind me of another book that is out there.

I absolutely LOVED this story and the feel of it being completely about fate. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and this story plays along with that exact phrase!! Great story..

This story, even though short and steams delivers a bang and then some, Who knew road rage could lead to dinner and some steamy hot tub fun. This story brings more than that though.... There are twists that I didn't see coming and I laughed and cried through the emotional parts for sure. Definitely an author to keep an eye on.

The development of these characters are great and makes me want more and more of their story. I also love the secondary characters and the role they all played. Fate is funny when it decides to impede your life and you can do nothing but go along with the ride.

Review for On a Whim by J.M. Walker.
I received a copy of On a Whim for an honest review.
This is a quick little read but packed full of hotness, secrets and some laughter.
Kiki is a graphic designer who designs book covers for authors. she has a great career and a wonder family. However, because of her small family she is guarded, protective, and not willing to put her heart out there again. really she has the greatest friend a girl could want. Chaz is her BFF and he only wants the best for Kiki. He had me cracking up in this story. OMG "wet bread" What Really Chaz (i cannot even if you want to know you will have to read it).
B.Vesper is looking to cover his books and he is going to picky. He contacts Kiki to take on this project. B puts Kiki in contact with his cover model/PA Bo. Bo and Kiki end up covering more than just book covers and Bo slowly starts to bring Kiki's walls down. When Bo reveals he is keeping a secret and has been lying to her can she forgive and learn to trust again?
I loved these people not just Bo and Kiki but also Chaz and the twins. They know how to have fun and support one another as BFF's should. I enjoyed Bo and the BDSM aspect in this story. Seeing Kiki respond and submit to Bo was entertaining. I liked Bo and Kiki and would have enjoyed reading more of them and of course Chaz too.

I loved that we got new characters from JM and I feel in love with them all! If you love JM, this won't disappoint. And if you have yet to read her, get ready to fall in love with her and her writing!

Temptations of Christmas Future (A Christmas Carol Book 3) by Lexi Post
Another great addition to the series A Christmas Carol. I recommend that you go back and read the first two books in the series. I loved Malcolm and Joy's story. Malcolm and Joy seemed like opposites but they were perfect for each other. They seemed to fill a void that each were missing. It was great getting to see how Cameron, Holly, and the others from books one and two were doing too. I look forward to the next book in this series. If you haven't read any of Lexi Post's book, you need to give them a try. I have read all of her books. I love the wait she writes and pulls me into her stories.
Undeniable Fate (Undeniable Series Book 1) by Mia London - This is the first book that I have read by Mia London. I loved it! Oh my goodness, I was hooked right from the start to the end. Brandon and Lily's story was so much fun and filled with hot chemistry! This story is one that I will read over and over. I look forward to reading more books by Mia London.

Temptations of Christmas Future (A Christmas Carol Book 3) by Lexi Post
Another great addition to the series A Christmas Carol. I recommend that you go back and read the first two books in the series. I loved Malcolm and Joy's story. Malcolm and Joy seemed like opposites but they were perfect for each other. They seemed to fill a void that each were missing. It was great getting to see how Cameron, Holly, and the others from books one and two were doing too. I look forward to the next book in this series. If you haven't read any of Lexi Post's book, you need to give them a try. I have read all of her books. I love the wait she writes and pulls me into her stories.

Firstly, can I just say that I wish Chaz existed in real life. He would make the perfect bestie haha!
I loved Bo and Kiki’s relationship and enjoyed reading about new characters.

I’ve gotten started on this set and have read 2 and am well on my way with the third one. First off was Lexi Post’s Temptations of Christmas Future. I will say that I love Lexi’s writing and her interesting spins on classic stories. She breathes a fresh breath to the Dicken’s Christmas classic. This is actually the third in the set with the Spirit Guides of Christmas Future (Malcolm and Joy) visiting Holly, widowed wife of the head of the Spirit Guides. WOW… I won’t give it away, but Malcolm and Joy certainly go about ‘guiding’ from different directions. Loved it.
Next is Highland Oath by CA Szarek. This is another story that is a little out of my usual reading preferences. I don’t often read about Highlanders or time travel and magic, but this one caught and held my interest from the start. I found Angus and Lila to be engaging characters and the storyline held my attention. If fact, I may have to go find other stories from this author if they follow the same family. Well written and interesting story.

I love multi-author anthologies. I may pick up an anthology because it has an author I like to read, and discover a new author or two! This anthology is diverse, interesting, and engaging (not to mention steamy). I hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed writing it!
