If you need to get something done, don’t pick up this book and try to read it until you have some free time. It has all the greatest elements of other books in the series, except there are more of them.
In this one, Lily, who without fail, always bases her life on her family, has to do everything she can to save the ones she loves, including Ranger X. This is nothing new, since she does it all the time. However, the way she does it, and what is at stake is different. There are new situations to worry about, and new allies, as well as foes. She really pushes herself to the limit in this story, and we learn some things about the ranger that you have been dying to know.
There are so many special parts in this book, from heartfelt and sentimental scenes, to portions where there is so much strength, that it is impossible to describe fully.
What I can tell is that you want to read this if you love the series, especially if you love Ranger X.
At the end, you will have laughed, cried, and maybe even had to pick up your mouth from off of the floor a couple of times.
I received an ARC and reviewed this book voluntarily.
