This has lots of grammar errors and is written at a very elementary level. It is a good story, but the book is not very well written.

A good digest of Paton's Autobiography for young readers. However, since having read the original, I would recommend John G Paton's own book: it is thrilling enough even for young readers, and carries great power when told in his own words.

Still, if you must have a simplified version of the events, this one is worth looking at.

I was especially charmed to note that "King of the Cannibals" was a title conferred by no less a wit than CH Spurgeon.

This is a sweet story! It was amazing to see how God worked in the lives of the natives and slowly brought every one of them to Christ! John Patton certainly was brave!
