Homies, Lovers & Friends 6: A Brooklyn Love Story
In the FINAL installment to the Homies, Lovers And Friends series, everyone will be tested, but will they all make it? Kelsie is pregnant and in love with Milli. While they’re waiting on the birth of their daughter, Kelsie is killing herself at work and starts to feel the complications of pregnancy. Will Michelle’s busy schedule start to shake the foundation of her happy home? Or will Thor step in and take care of the homefront while his woman brings home the bacon?Patsy is in a new place, and no one can take it away from her. While she wants love, she’s scared to put herself out there again. So instead, she focuses on her new business, her daughter, and continuing her path of sobriety. What happens when a man by the name of Brunson comes knocking on her door? This book to me was a waste of words. It was creating more dramas that we didn’t need. the first 5 books offered plenty drama and this didn’t bring any change .
Kelsie was the same idiot who kept making rash silly mistakes . She was six books in and still had barely grown as a woman. She didn’t deserve Milli in my opinion. He could do better.
Mello only turned out to be worse than we thought. There was an understanding to why he was a little bit of the way he was but all we learned was he did Patsy worse than we knew and it didn’t make for a good story to me. After having to read and hear your husband be in love with another woman and telling her he wished all these moment yall shared was with her, wasn’t hurting enough? To know there were more ladies and more aborted baby? Really ?
Patsy seemed to have found a chance at dating but then he shows up drunk and almost ruins her sobriety, why did we need this? Hasn’t she had enough? She deserves a really good moment of love. Stop toying with people.
Thor and Michelle was simply boring as hell at this point. I’ve didn’t give a single care about them at this point and actually started looking at Michelle sideways because she was really doing strange shit as a parent. I get being a new mom, but you disrupting all the peace in yours house for what????
Choc was a useless bit to the story, we didn’t need her.
Choc & Kelsie mom deserved to be stomped. 🤷🏾♀️
Overall it gave overkill to me not even messy drama.

Great Series!!!!!
Omg I loved this series even more. I swear these couples give me so much life.Milli and Kelsie are my favorite of this series.The relationship they have and developed over the years is crazy.Plus the relationship and how he treats Miracle is beyond me.Im happy she finally gets a father because Marcus is a ridiculous excuse of a man. Then Michelle and Thor are next in line to be my favorite.Im proud of the couple they have become because they have went thru a lot.Im so glad that their businesses are growing also. Pasty,Choc and Mello smh.I swear I don’t understand that triangle at all. I’m kinda glad the drama happen between them. And then Kendel omg she was nothing but trouble I’m so glad she is gone. Wat happen needed to happen to teach her a lesson. I’m so glad Patsy finally find someone to be herself with.Im so so glad wat they went thru is over and they dealt with it.That ending was so good.

This was the finale and I loved that everybody got their happy ending....well not everybody lol. Mello is growing into the man he should’ve been in the first place. I love seeing Patsy grow into a beautiful flower. She’s a strong woman and even tho she had some temptation she stayed RESILIENT! Michelle and Thor are my favorite couple! Chelle is now a outspoken independent woman and I’m sooooo happy for her! Thor is bae as always with his protective behind! Kelsi finally got the bigger picture and let Milli in. Her mother is a lost cause and I don’t like her. Choc is idk I like her but then she said that slick stuff and I didn’t like her afterwards lmao. I had to take off 2 stars because the of the errors and character mixups but it could’ve been a 4 but it was just too many. Great job Jah! Ps I need that pb 😂😂😂

Its a bit sad to see them go
I never thought there would be a book 6 but I am happy that you took your time to write it. These are characters you can remember forever and who knows in five uears you may be able to do spinoffs with the children. I am so happy that you opened patsy up to love another and for a minute i thought she was gonna get that old thing back but im glad she didn't. I know how it is when your characters juat speak to you. You eneded the series well and I cant wait until this new one comes out.

I’m so sad this is the end
I know you feel like 5is is the end of the road but you didn’t give us Kelsie and Milli getting married ..... there’s always more lol I kno it’s selfish and greedy but these characters are some of my favs anyway I’ll wait and see I’m sure they come to you and you’ll have to give us another story orrrrr you could always just spin off with milli and Kelsie . Wishful thinking

Loved all the characters including the crazy sister sad that she had to learn the hard way
Even when she had a a brother that showed her loved kelise and that daughter Miracle was something else you couldn't see miracle as handicapped unless they mention it she was a joy,funny kid.Michelle grew strong after what she went through that Damn grand mother of miracle was doing the most for her no good son Michelle's husband is the best son, friend loyal to a fault keep it real with everybody love the series author on to #7

I'm so happy we got book 6 I know you don't want to do a spin off but I think one day you should consider giving Mello a happy ending. He changed and I feel he deserves it and a story about a single dad raising his son while co parenting with his daughters mother an finding love would be would be a good story. Lol no but great job for another amazing series. I'm looking forward to what's next even if I'm not ready to leave Mello and milli

Great series
This was a great book I loved this series.The growth in all the characters and the strength in their relationships with each other I just love how the author put everything together. My Milli I just loved his character he matured so much since the first book his love for Kelsie and his girls was everything.Thank you Jaquel J for introducing us fans to these homies lovers and friends I am now a fan so I will surely be looking out for new reads.

I was hoping for Pat and Mello to work things out... She forgave Brunson but couldn't fully forgive Mello... I see the growth in him and wish he could have been happy in love... Every One Else had happy endings and Kendel got want she deserve cause her brother was trying to be there for her but she wanted to live by her own rules... Choc is something else by being mad but was actually doing the same ....Enjoyed this series

Issa Fabulous Ending
I appreciate the love Jah has for her fans. She could have ended the series at 5. I fell in love with the characters and their growths. Not a dull moment in this series. Awesome job and can't wait for so much more from Jah. Spoiler Kendal got exactly what she was looking for and as for Choc I'm glad she found happiness. Mello is doing good for himself he Had to find himself first and that's what he is doing. Awesome awesome series

MUST READ!!!!
What a way to end a series. I loved how everything turned out. This was a great series and definitely a must read. It was good from the very first page of book 1 to the last page of book 6...I loved the growth of the characters. Jah you out did yourself with this one. Amazing book!!!
I've read this series from the beginning with book 1-6 and when I tell you these characters have become like family that's how much I love them!! Jahquel J is an amazing storyteller and author who keeps her readers engaged!! This series is a must read you will not be disappointed!!

Yet again you delivered..answering all questions left answered. Love me some Milli, Thor. Glad that Mellow grew up and do what he had to do. Despite what I still like the relationship that he and Patsy shared cause like no one knew how to deal with him like she did. I really enjoyed this series thou and you would not be disappointed. Fantastic read!

Gosh I hate to see these characters go. I have loved them since the beginning. This story could not have ended more perfect. I am so glad Patsy didn't end up with Mello at the end and that he's taking time away from relationships to just focus on his kids. Michelle and Thor my favorite couple. Thor is bae!! Kelsie got on my dang nerves and then the darn name Sparkle lol. i was hoping they would change their mind and so happy when Milli changed her name to Blessing. She sure was. Glad to see Patsy give someone else a chance. Sad there won't be a spin off of any of these great folks, but 6 books and they had a great run. Such an amazing job Jahquel. 5 stars all around.

I normally don't read books that have more than 4 parts, but with these characters, I fell in love with each one. I related to each one in a different way. Ms. Jahquel J. did an amazing job with this series. She made the characters relatable and brung out different emotions with them all. Great job!!!

Let me tell you how happy I was when truths were told. Meaning it was always someone telling the other person how their actions were wrong. I'm glad Pat stayed true her sobriety and that Kelsie grew the hec up!. Cause she got on my nerves from book 1 thru 6 Lol!

I am really going to miss these characters. You know I'm all in love with Milli and shit lol. Mello still has a lot of growing up to do. I'm so happy for Thor & Michelle. I'm glad Kelsie and Michelle had Chelly because Kelsie mom is pathetic. Kim is a little delusional too. Great series, keep up the good work.

Highly recommend
I’m glad my friend recommended this series to me all 6 booked were great I couldn’t stop reading I read all 6 in 3 days. I would highly recommend this series it’s full of sex,love,loyalty,heartbreaks but overall it came together as one of the best series I’ve read..

I didnt realize these books were combined until halfway through. It was nice getting to wrap up the stories. I am happy that Patsy was able to find someone that truly made her happy after all of the mess Mello made with their marriage. Kelsie still getting in her own way and getting on my last nerve.

Perfect finale
You definitely ended this book in the best way. Everyone received their own version of a happy ending. Kendal made me so mad throughout the whole book. I really enjoyed this series.

Wow such and amazing series. I hate to see it end but I felt the ride has been amazing. Milli has grown so much and Mello still has a way to go. I think I will miss Miracle little fiery self the most. Job well done !!!

This is a well written series that I loved. The author delivered with every book right to the very last page. The characters are likeable, lovable and interesting. Can't wait to see what else this author has to come. Definitely a series to recommend and a author to follow.
