A few minutes pass as he cradles me deeper into his chest.
I notice a speck of blood on the floor, but don't say anything about it. Not yet.
I can feel Mark's lips against my hair, as he gently rubs my back.
This was my world now.
A swirl of incredible warmth--
And incredible violence.
WOLF. is the first of a three part supernatural, suspenseful, romance series, all taking place within the same world. WOLF. explores the relationship between Lola, a seemingly average human girl and Mark, a noble-born wolf.
Werewolves are real.
And Lola can see them.
She's been able to see them ever since she was a child, and she's grown used to pretending like she can't see them at all...
Until tonight.
Tonight, a werewolf is staring her down from across the street.
And she's all alone.
Little does she know that this chance encounter will be the catalyst thatthrows her into a dark and beautiful new world that she never even knewexisted...
This series contains the graphic content, adult situations and a heroine who makes mistakes.
I'm Virginia Wilde. I love cats (I am currently harassed for food daily by two of them), I love nerding out about English Lit and I love being able to express myself creatively, whether that's through writing romantic stories or making music.
If you want to talk to me or scream at me, I'll probably be here:
I guess I didn't quite get this 'romance'. It definitely did not feel like a romance. Lola spent the majority of her time being wishy washy, she lost herself in the pull to mate and instead tried to cheat on her mate with another man, did in fact cheat on him in a heartless fashion. It was understood that one couldn't even stand the smell of another without being sick but somehow she over road this to make out and have sex with someone else that she was 'in love' with even though they had never had a relationship before finding her soul mate? I didn't understand this part at all. This was a very angsty story, one where the 'heroine ' goes back and forth between two men, not to mention not being able to decide her future as a werewolf or a witch. It ends in a bit of a cliffhanger, there is no hea or even a hfn
Wolf is a romance with depth, scars and a heck loads of steam. I find stories where the protagonist is perfect boring, so it was a pleasant surprise Lola makes mistakes, just like the rest of us. This makes her relatable and interesting, a perfect combo. Mark is hot and definitely someone every woman would love to be with. He's just too yummy. The story ended in a cliffhanger and I can't wait to get my hands on the next part!
