His face was illuminated by the full moon and I tried not to stare at his lips. I think I must have failed as he gave me a knowing smile. I forced myself to meet his eyes as he said, “I’ll call you soon, Misha. And Oliver was right, I would have regretted not seeing you tonight.”
Erik is on the hunt for the perfect woman...not for love...but for his secret little project.
When introduced to Misha, he knows she could be the one. Someone who's lost everything, someone who could do with the money he has to offer... If only he could separate business and pleasure!

Another great read by Summer Cooper about a billionaire, Erik, and Misha, who is recently divorced from her cheating ex hubby. They meet and the attraction is there so they decide to become friends with benefits but what happens when one of them falls in love with the other and the other party is not ready or willing to admit the love as well? I loved the banter and attraction between these two and Misha's quick wit and sarcasm which had me chuckling at times. Erik was a bit of a mystery to me as we don't get his POV during the read and we don't learn about his secret about why he doesn't do relationships until the end. I would have liked at least one chapter or more form his POV as I would have loved to have known what he was thinking or feeling, how he changed and if he felt scared after the incident with Misha. We also get to see Oliver again, the eccentric old man with his family which was a treat as he and his mouth always left me chuckling as well as the other friends and family. A great read with steamy scenes and with an epilogue that made me smile from ear to ear as it was perfect for them and their relationship. *I voluntarily reveiwed an ARC of this book*
Billionaire Hunt by Summer Cooper a five-star read this is worth the hunt. This is the second book in the Billionaire Matchmaker series, but it is a stand-alone read, each book tells a different story. I am a huge fan of Summer Cooper, she writes great characters and shows us that karma and fate do have plans that we can’t always stop. (Karma is my girl and I would love to heart her forever, a little like I do with Summer Cooper). When I read the blurb I was a little, mmm I don’t know what to make of this story, and when I first started reading it I was a little mmm about Erik as he is a very closed off person, but as the story reveals itself he does start to show us more and becomes someone you do want to read more about and find out more about, his story is one that will keep you hooked. Misha is in a place where her life is falling apart and she is living in her best friends farther in law’s pool house (more about him later) and she is still amazing. Misha was someone I loved immediately, she kinda reminded me of work buddy who is someone you would never want to cross, but would also be someone you would want to have your back, that person who is funny and witty and a little scary but also knows life’s hard. I read this book in one night, I couldn’t put it down. Its sweet and romantic but also shows us the other side of the story and shows us how far people will go for what they want. Oliver (The best friends farther in law) is one of the best characters ever, he is an eccentric billionaire who you would love to have as a friend or farther figure. If you are looking for a good romance that isn’t your traditional boy meets girl and they fall in love, this is the one for you. This is a slightly darker story with twists and turns to keep you reading.
A man on a mission to find the perfect surrogate for his baby and a woman who honestly wants nothing really to do with men but to get back on her feet and live a little.
Misha last eight years of life was good or so she thought. When getting a call from her husband, she finds out the horrible truth from him. He wants a divorce and yes it gets worse... with a push from her Uncle Niko, she decides to move on reluctantly to start back on her failed job as an interior designer. With a push from her friends too, she meets her first client. He's handsome, single and maybe she likes him just a little bit, but she is not into wanting a relationship now... or is she?
Erik is a self made billionaire. Living on his on island alone and making his own money via his contractor business due to his past mistake of trusting someone with his heart. Now his dilemma is finding the right woman to be his surrogate and carry his baby to term. But what seems so simple is turning out to be a living nightmare with the contract he signed with the company. Now if only he could get the perfect girl to say yes to him...
Oliver is at it again! Now that his son, Jude, is happily married to Lacy, Oliver directs his matchmaking efforts to Erik, who he helped raise as a boy. Erik is now a successful real-estate billionaire who wants a family but has no interest in risking his heart again. Misha is at the lowest point in her life, having her husband leave her for his pregnant mistress on the same day she had to close up her interior design business. Erik offers her a job decorating his new home and soon the chemistry between them ignites into fiery passion. Each is determined not to repeat the mistakes of the past by letting emotions get in the way, until Erik's plan to have a child by a surrogate falls through and he asks Misha to consider stepping into the role. Nothing like a little drama to bring one's true feelings to the surface, is there? Tempers flare and hearts are challenged, but only when faced with a tragic loss do these two finally realize that life is love, and love is risky.
Summer Cooper is, as demonstrated in each of her books, a master at exploring the emotional depths of her characters. This gripping story has the reader feeling the highs and lows along with Erik and Misha, as well as the joy amidst the sorrow that Oliver lives with. It was a nice treat to revisit Jude and Lacey, and see more of their interactions with Oliver. I would love to see a full story develop from the blossoming romance hinted at in the final scenes of this book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Misha’s world is falling apart. First her interior design company falters and then she discovers that Wyatt, her husband of 8-years, is leaving her for another woman; a woman who is having his baby. Eric grew up in foster homes, but eventually turns his life around and is now a billionaire. After his ex-wife cheats on him, Eric finds it difficult to love, but he is sure of one thing; he wants to be a father. Through friends and acquaintances, Misha and Eric meet and Misha accepts an interior design position from Eric. As the two spend more time with each other, Misha realises she is in love with Eric, but he doesn’t want a relationship. He is only prepared for them to be friends with benefits. Eric is desperate to be a father, but surrogate after surrogate let him down. After seeing how disappointed Eric is, Misha agrees to carry a child for Eric, thinking it will bring them closer together. Unfortunately, that is not the case and their relationship deteriorates; neither feel as comfortable with each other as they used to be. When Misha is involved in a car accident, Wyatt confesses that he is not the father of his girlfriend’s baby; that he was cheated on too. Wyatt is looking for another chance with Misha, but the only person Misha can think about is Eric; Wyatt was never right for her all along. This was quite an engaging story with a few twists and turns that made it an interesting read. Billionaire in Vegas, Billionaire Hunt, and Billionaire's Game are related in that the follow the characters of Lacey and Misha, best friends, and Lacey's cousin Lesli. This one is about Misha and was pretty enjoyable. It is told from 1st person POV with Misha as the narrator. Based on the title, one would be tempted to believe that the book is about a hunt for a billionaire, but it's actually about a billionaire on the hunt for something surprising.
If you don't mind the familiar trope of a regular woman being swept off her feet by a billionaire (and I don't mind it at all), you're sure to enjoy this book which features colorful characters and funny banter. I think my favorite part was when Lacey gives birth to her first child. Having birthed both of mine sans painkillers, I could certainly sympathize with her. Lacey cracked me up.
There were a couple of lines that I found amusing enough to highlight. Misha, describing a woman coming to visit Erik thinks to herself, "Her shorts were so brief I was scared that if she sneezed I would see her private parts and her top was cropped and barely restraining her gigantic, clearly surgically augmented breasts."
And because I'm a huge fan of dangling participles, I must point out this one: "We had found the dog after a particularly devasting tropical storm, running across the street, dodging cars covered in dirt and shaking." Now, I can imagine cars covered in dirt, but shaking? Not so much. A simple comma after "cars" would change the meaning entirely.
Still, I definitely enjoyed the book and I recommend it.
When Misha’s life takes a dramatic turn, she did not see coming; her friends are there to lend a helping hand or three. Poor girl had no job, no husband, no support to give her grandmother and a quickly dissolving self-esteem. But, that was about to change, when introduced to the handsome, arrogant straight forward to rich for his own good Erik. Pushed together because of their mutual friends/family it is a no brainer he will offer her a job as the interior designer for the Island property he purchased. The cocky playboy of his should make it easy for her to ignore his advances, but he has other qualities that make it hard for her to deny them, along with the sizzling lustful connection and blooming friendship these two are either in for the time of their lives or a recipe for disaster... What a fun, plot twisting, sexy read! I have to say I did not see that coming! This fast moving book to me was a tale of emotional struggles, and humor filled cockiness that I adore in those alpha billionaires. Two broken souls coming together in a frustrating romance waiting for them to have their light bulb moments, secrets with layers, and most importantly; Saying I love you, is stronger than any amount of money or prestige. Summer Cooper continues to capture my heart with these amazing men and stories! This author has become a favorite of mine! This book is a must read IMO! A bad day can't even cover what Misha is having. The very day that she is packing up her business thinking she'd go home to the comfort of her husband only to find out that he is leaving her for someone he's been cheating with AND the woman is pregnant. Unable to handle it she spirals down until her uncle steps in to make her gain focus again. Erik is looking for a woman to be a surrogate for him. At first his is stand offish when his friends offer Misha up as a solution for him. Erik and Misha end up spending time together and without their friends knowing had a secret relationship. However Erik wasn't changing his plans for not having a relationship and only wanting a child without the strings of a woman. Misha feels for Erik when she learns his surrogate fell through and that they were having trouble finding another for him and offers to help him. What she didn't count on was her feelings for him and how accepting to be his surrogate everything would change. Things happen as the normally do with emotionally involved people and Misha and Erik part ways. When she is visiting a friend in the hospital she is in an accident.
This book has it all intense heat between characters, strong storyline and some twists thrown in for good measure. I loved this book. Once I started it I couldn't put it down until I was done. If you haven't read anything by this author then this is a good book to start.
I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.
I give Billionaire Hunt 5 stars for providing me love, lust, and loathing. I loathed what her ex did to her, I felt the lust between Erik and Misha instantaneously, and I loved what became of them. A super great plot.
Summer Cooper has another epic story under her belt. It flows well, her characters are so exciting, and the story itself was fantastic. Kudos!
Misha met Erik when Oliver, a long time friend, introduced them. When he meets her, right away he thinks she could be the one. She's lost everything, maybe his money could tempt her. Will she do it?
Erik was looking for the perfect woman to handle a project for him, a very special project. He's a billionaire and has almost everything he could possibly want but one thing eludes him. What is it that he doesn't have and wants?
Misha was feeling sorry for herself as she looked around the now empty office that had once held six full-time employees. Designs by Misha had officially closed. Her husband was rarely home so her career had been her life. Could things get any worse?
Billionaire Hunt is a romance novel that is about rediscovering life. Hitting rock bottom and growing from the experience, one can only go up from there.
Billionaire Hunt is a story that continues off of The Billionaire in Vegas story. It has some of the old characters and introduces some new ones. Good ol Oliver is at it again. This time he is dabbling in Misha’s life. Misha is Lacey and Emma’s bff since college. She is down on her luck. Her business goes under and her husband leaves her flat broke. Oliver let’s her stay in th pool house till she is back on her feet. Erik is like a son to Oliver and he is in search of something dear to his heart. The only catch is he does not do relationships. EVER! So Misha starts working for Erik designing his home inside and a romp in the hay for bonus. Right? Well what happens when Misha let’s her heart get involved? Can they go on as friends or does Misha have to walk away?
This story has a few twists to it and some oh shit moments that you don’t expect. Misha has a lot of self discovery to do and Erik has some soul searching of his own. Erik is truly messed up and committed to his playboy ways. Meddlesome Oliver is always up to no good. This was a good story and I like how Summer brought her other characters into the mix, letting you know how their lives are moving forward. This is a romantic trist. Enjoyable in every way.
Summer Cooper has another winner! This is book 2 in the Billionaire Matchmaker series. Misha has hit rock bottom- her business failed and now her husband dumped her for another woman. Oh and he also got his mistress pregnant too. Luckily she has her two best friends and a very feisty grandmother and uncle Niko for support. Through her friends she meets Erik- a rich, handsome playboy. At first glance Erik seems to have the perfect life. After some trepidation Misha agrees to work for Erik as his interior designer. The more time they spend together the closer they become. Both agree to become friends with benefit. However, Misha begins to fall for Erik knowing he wants nothing more than a fling. Oh and he also wants a baby! Having been raised in foster care, he has always wanted a child. I must say as much as i loved reading about Erik and Misha's complicated relationship, Oliver (Jude's dad) and Misha's grandmother made the book even better. They were amazing characters and truly loved their families. Add in a jealous female friend of Erik's and Misha's ex, plus a few other complications and this book was great. The epilogue was perfect. I voluntarily read an advanced reader's copy of this book
OK so I read the blurb and I must say I was expecting Erik to be devious in his plan to get what he wanted from Misha but that wasn't the case. I also expected Misha to be in dire need of his money, again not necessarily what happened. Misha is a woman who has lost her company, her marriage and her home but she is determined to figure out how to survive. Does she have her down pity party days - yep but wouldn't we all if this happened to you all in one day? Erik is an interesting character who I really couldn't get a grip on immediately. I initially was turned off by him when he first meets Misha but then you realize this is a man who has been hurt deeply and is not opening up any of his emotions for anyone. As Misha and Erik begin their friends with benefits agreement Erik was in for just the lust of it. When they decide that Misha should be his surrogate she tells him she loves him. He cannot reciprocate. Has Misha found another man who will only hurt her? Can Erik admit he has feelings for Misha? Good read - you may want to hit a few characters - Wyatt especially. I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.
I LOVED Misha in this book and she has to be one of my female favourite characters I have read in a long time. She had me laughing out loud so much it's a good job I wasn't in a library when reading! I haven't read the other book in the series (bad me!) but this is certainly able to be read as a standalone and enjoyed just as much.
Erik and Misha really do seem like exact opposites...that is until an unexpected job offer leads them to become 'friends with benefits' and as the story unfolds and Misha accepts an offer she can't refuse from Erik, things become so much more emotional and the true story begins!
I loved how Erik's coldness becomes clearer as his past is revealed and the fact him and Misha have lots in common actually makes for a great HEA which I loved. I certainly wanted a bit more in terms of what happened next but I am hoping as more in the Billionaire Matchmaker series are released, Misha and Erik will be popping up now and then!
Wyatt👹, executive engineer and husband to Misha💋💔, the former owner of her now defunct business, Designs By Misha💋💔, has just dumped her the SAME day her office closes, citing irreconcilable differences. After 8 years of marriage! What timing!⌚
What a HERO! Actually, he finally admits he has been cheating and his girlfriend is pregnant. Now what is she going to do? Throwing his clothes out the window into the yard is a first step!
Her uncle Oliver wastes no-time in introducing her to Erik🐺🍌🌋, a real estate billionaire. The problem seems to be he's a womanizer and quite good at it. He tells Misha💋💔 he wants her to design the decor for the new house he has bought. What he really has is designs on her body💃! Misha💋💔 is under no illusions, but she is wildly attracted to him as well, and they go at it🍌🍌🍌 for hours in his pool house. This, on the first day of her new "job"! She tries to tell herself he's just a rebound lover, but it's no good. She has fallen for Erik.....💘 YEHAW! Ride em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl! 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
Erik is definitely on the hunt and a member of the I am a billionaire and I don't do relationships club. So what exactly is he hunting then, lol. Gotta pick up the book for the specifics which is well worth it. I like Misha because she so realistically goes through the woes of career & relationship status/drama, I even flashbacked to Angela Bassett in the old Waiting to Exhale movie during one of her episodes, lol. I also like the fact that she has courage and never gave completely up on the concept of being in love. I honestly didn't really like Erik much though, he was arrogant, stubborn & hurt Misha's feelings one time to many, he did try to redeem himself but even his reasoning lacked emotion but its really hard to turn your feelings off when the thorn won't go away, lol. Yes I did indeed enjoy this story, Misha's circle of friends are great, her grandmother is hilarious, Wyatt is even more of a jerk than Erik and they come together to make this a very interesting & entertaining hunt.
Misha is a sassy and strong woman whose world has just fall apart. The loss of her company, the end of her marriage after her husband cheated. On the other side there comes Erik, a successful and gorgeous business man who is in search of a surrogate mother to have his baby. So how does Misha fit into all this? She doesn’t actually but she meets Erik at her best friend’s house and a mutual attraction will immediately flow through their veins. So they end up becoming special buddies, yes like that but Misha just doesn’t like children, owing to her troubled past with her parents. So how does Erik convince her? Simple, with love because Misha will fall very hard for him but it seems that this love isn’t requited. I’ll just stop here otherwise I’ll ruin the fun. Just one more thing; the characters are absolutely enjoyable and in their own way they are also hilarious. Two strong people whose sparks are shooting all over the place. A fast paced book and a great read.
A great second chance romance Another winner from Summer Cooper. This is the second book in the Billionaire Matchmaker Series. A standalone, this book features down on her luck Interior Designer Misha and billionaire Eric. Misha and Eric were both burned by love and not looking for a relationship. After she became his decorator they entered into a 'friends with benefits' situation. She later agreed to be his surrogate after his backed out as long as they did it the old fashion way. Later when she confesses her feelings for him, he insists they part ways. He only wants a child, not a relationship. When she's in a bad accident he has to do a lot of soul searching. No spoiler here - but this is a great read with lots of twists and surprises. The secondary characters are a delight. Erik's a jerk at times. Great read. I voluntarily chose to review an advance reader copy of this book.
This is the second book in the Billionaire Matchmaker series and I love this group of characters. They are so much fun! Oliver, Grandma and Simon are full of mischief and sharp wit. Jared and Lacey, from the first book in the series are too cute together and are the connection that bring Erik and Misha together. They are the main characters and are so good together but, have suffered from horrendous past relationships. (Wyatt, Misha's ex-husband is absolutely horrible!) So, naturally they don't want any emotional ties just good times with each other...easier said than done.
I recommend this book because it tells the story of a woman who was so low that she couldn't see the light until she learned to live for herself and go after what she wanted and she wanted it all including her sexy friend with benefits. A truly inspiring story.
I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.
Another well written book by Summer. This book will suck you in from the beginning. Erik and Misha will bring you on an adventure of sorts with people who both have pasts which includes trust issues. The beginning of this is where Misha is cleaning out her office because her business has failed. When she goes home, her husband Wyatt tells her that he no longer wants to be married to her because he has found someone else. Who he has brought to their home without her knowing. When Misha and Erik meet, their relationship does not happen overnight. They are both wary about commitments so their relationship will develop slowly. Misha knows she wants more but isn't sure Erik does. That is until something happens to her that makes Erik realize he does want more. Will it be too late? Will they be able to sustain this relastionship? It's a very enjoyable read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.
Summer Cooper did not disappoint my expectations for this book. It is an amazing read. The story line feels real because of the way the author is writing and playing with the words. I laughed, sighed, got annoyed and had all sorts of emotions in use. The story caught me from the first chapter to the last. Misha is a woman who is married to Wyatt. He wants a divorce because he has a new girlfriend and she is pregnant. She looses her marriage, business and house in one day. But the bad things does not stop here. No spoilers but it is worth the read. Erik is a billionaire that wants a thing and he is just amazing but he has of course got secrets and bad experience from the past too. A over the top chemistry between the main characters, well written hot scenes, lots of laughs and banter, some drama and twists and turns. All this makes this an amazing read.

3.5 Stars This is book 2 in the series and it features Eric and Misha. Nobody's happy with a marriage that ends with infidelity. I felt so bad for Misha. She was living Murphy's Law. Eric's only problem was he wanted a child. He wanted to use a surrogate but was having problems finding the right one. Friends with benefits only last so long before feelings get involved especially when you ask that friend to be a surrogate for your child. He didn't really give reasons. He told a story but the result of that was mistrust. It wasn't not believing in love. He really hurt Misha and I was surprised at that side of his personality.
The story line was good but not smooth. From chapter 10 through chapter 13, events were rushed, unorganized and a little confusing. Did she have surgery on her stomach AND her hand and was released on the same day? I don't think so. Anyways, I'm still looking forward to the next book in the series.
This contemporary dark romance is page-turning with exceptional world-building and characters that are realistic and captivating. Their journey is enthralling with an enemies-to-lovers romance with the billionaire CEO, a mature, explicit romance that is sizzling with steamy lust, passion, desire, and spice with all the feelings to have readers curling their toes, lose everything, drama, a secret baby, action, secrets, secret little project, adventure, heartfelt emotions, a second chance with best friend's brother, and more. If you want to find out if there is a happily ever after, I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with the billionaire hunt and explicit romance in this exhilarating roller coaster ride that is wild and unforgettable.

This book follows Misha, who is Lacy and Emmalines best friend from book 1. It starts with her business closing and going home to be told by her husband he was leaving her and was having a baby with his mistress. Oliver, Lacy’s billionaire father-in-law who set up his son with Lacy in book one, offers to let Misha crash in his pool house until she finds a place to live. He introduces her to Erik with obvious ulterior motives. Erik offers her a job designing the interior of his new house and the two quickly act on their attraction. They agree to be together with no strings or feelings attached but of course that gets complicated especially when the reason Oliver thought they should meet is revealed. They both bring baggage with them blocking a way to a hea and when Misha is injured Erik steps up even though it causes more complications it also starts to open some discussions long needed.

Another fantastic book by Summer Cooper. Talk about a bad day, Misha had to close down her Interior Design business and to top it all off, she gets home and her jerk of a husband, Wyatt, tells her it's over. He wants a divorce and he got another woman pregnant. Misha struggled to get her life back on track. Her friend's father-in-law, Oliver, decided to try his hand at matchmaking and introduced her to Erik, a handsome billionaire who he had taken under his wing when he was a child. It landed her a big job decorating Erik's new home. It also landed her a new friend with benefits. We are talking hot and steamy benefits. This was a wild, somewhat dramatic ride with some absolutely wonderful, crazy, eccentric characters thrown in. I read this book from start to finish and couldn't put it down. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I absolutely loved this book! I feel that all the characters were very lively and easy to connect with. Misha is a very strong willed person and even though she is given many obstacles she bounces back. She does have a few struggles in the book that many people can understand and sympathize with and yet she doesn't let that keep her down for long. Luckily for her, she has Oliver who loves to meddle with his loved ones and definitely enjoys being a matchmaker. Misha and Erik are good for each other in every way, and although Erik doesnt what to admit this, he finds his way by the end of the book. A very nice love story that is very realistic in the possibilities that it could happen in real life. This is definitely a book that I will recommend to my friends in the future.
Another very beautiful love story from Summer Cooper. I have read several books by her and she has not disappointed me yet. This is a standalone within the Billionaire Matchmaker series and some of the characters from book one make appearances. I am very much in love with her writing style, the way her words flow flawlessly from page to page. Summer writes absolutely fantastic characters that you can't help but fall in love with. This story revolves around Misha and Erik who are brought together by a little bit of matchmaking by one of her BFF's father-in-law, Oliver. Side note...Oliver is such a hoot that you just want to hug him tight and never let go. There are many laugh out loud moments, and moments that will pull at your heart strings. I definitely recommend a 1-click today. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
Misha's life has fallen apart. She had to close her business, then finds out her husband has been cheating on her and is leaving. She really doesn't think things can get any worse. At a celebration dinner with her friends, she is introduced to Erik, who is on the hunt. He doesn't divulge that information at first, but he does hire her as his interior designer for his new house. At first they both fight their physical attraction, but soon they find themselves in a race to get physical. They enjoy each other company immensely, until she learns what he is hunting for. He is looking for a family of his own. Somehow he has to convince her, she is the one to help him in his quest. When her friend is in trouble with her labor, Misha has her own accident. Thankfully everything works out beautifully. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
