If you’ve noticed, approximately 80% of the time spent in a tennis match is between points. My book, Deconstructing The 4-D System, fills in the black hole of this down time with a concrete and systematic mental process which will allow you to access your best game and go on to victory. The book tells you both WHAT to focus on and the sequence in which to do it, so as to give yourself your best chance at victory.
This was a fairly mixed bag, there were lots of good ideas but all already well known. The way the material was presented was scattered and at times confusing. Many of the examples the author gave were good but didn't seem relevant to the point he was making at the time. And in a completely personal take on it, I got a very arrogant vibe from the writing. Probably just me but it didn't help me enjoy it.
I was hoping for a new take/system on mental strength in regards to tennis, what I got was confusing and mostly old. Winning Ugly by Brad Gilbert or Tennis: Winning the Mental Match by Allen Fox are better tools to strengthen your mind.
