This book was a joy to read and full of helpful and heartwarming stories. Wiseman stresses the importance of gratitude, meditation and awareness. She relates anecdotes from her fascinating life to illustrate her points.

I liked the sections about animals and plants the best. Apparently, the energy from plants is comforting and it can help unhappy people. This is certainly worth trying.

I did find some of this book a bit glib - relaxing into your life when you're not happy is difficult, for example. Still, it's a good book to dip into when you need a quick way to feel better, and Wiseman's suggestions are also valuable for developing a more spiritual outlook on life.

This book I received as a Goodreads first winner.
In this book you will read 88 mini stories
of different personal experiences of Sara Wiseman.
Throughout this book Sara tells stories of her
encounters with spirit guides and angels.
She tells about outer body experiences.
This I will admit, I had a difficult time reading.
However, I believe the true gem of her book stems
from the questions at the end of each story that
caused me to think about my own past, present and
future. This is the reason that I would recommend this
book. This book truly is a "diamond in the rough".

A warm, wise and friendly guide to being aware of ourselves and feeling grateful for what we are and have. The modern world can make it hard to find time to think about such matters, but this is a lovely book to be dipped into when you need it.

This is a book of short essays that you can read one at a time. I was lucky enough to have it through the pandemic and I read 1 every day or so for several months. I like the author. She is Catholic and an intuitive and I think psychic. She loves her church and life and has many good stories and ideas for personal growth. I would like to read some of her other books.

While it's not life-changing, it's a nice read. I would read a chapter or two each night before bed. I wanted to love it, and I do believe in having a daily gratitude practice. If you're new to practicing gratitude on a daily basis, this could be a gentle and inspiring introduction.

I wasn't really expecting short vignettes about how the author has experienced gratitude but I found it and excellent quick read. I was just hoping for more meat.

HIGHLIGHTS:
1. The lessons your father taught you and also the lessons he failed to teach, allow yourself to open your heart to all of it.

2. We love at the depth we are capable at the time.
- All of these relationships, the soul meetings, allow us to grow fully into the beings we are becoming.

If you are passionate about something, move forward in it EVERY DAY.

We become adult when we step into who we really are.

It is our job to learn to discern. Practice saying “no” to the things you don’t want.
- Say “yes” to all that is and say no to what we are NOT.

SLOW DOWN:
- Slow down, allow yourself to relax into divine view.
- Be thankful as you notice the gifts you may have missed before when you were too busy searching.
- when we become present, Abundance is everywhere.

Many times in your life, you have taken a detour for reasons you do not understand, and miracles have happened when you arrived.

Miracles are with us at all times, if we are open to see.

Whenever we become vulnerable to each other, the result is light and love.

Each moment is a gift. Open it in gratitude

Simply living is a miracle of the highest magnitude.
