Ruin Me puts a unique spin on the usual Vegas-Hookup stories and brings to focus a character that is more than a little damaged. Mac had a different kind of horror filled past and seeing how that changed who he was when it came to Angel was very intriguing. They had such amazing chemistry together but he was fighting until the very end, thinking that he wasn't enough for Angel past a quick hook-up. I really liked getting to see Angel push past his defenses and it made this book such an exciting one to read.
I really hope there will be more to come from some of the side characters. I was actually a little disappointed when I saw that there wasn't already a story for one of the couple's we were introduced to. I'll be holding out hope for a future book from them to get their full story.

I've read several books from this two author's and I loved them dearly and now they had done the amazing thing of co-writing a book and let's just say that Dayum... They nailed it.
They both have a hot, breathtaking, intense writing that will give you not only hot flashes but also so much joy.
Ruin Me tells the stories of Angel and Devin.
I just need to give you an advise, read Unbreak Me first...You'll see why...
After one wild night of passion they parted ways but she was left with a secret... What was meant to be a one night stand turns out to be so mush more since they can't forget each other.
Oh boy... I was waiting for an amazing story but it was so much more...
The plot was magnificent, engaging and freaking hot. The interation between the characters is raw, hot, intense and so much more.
I'm in love with these two ladies and I want more books from each other. Let's just say that once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down... I just couldn't.

This is such an fabulous read because of the emotional, sexy angsty, and beautiful story. The romance is one that will hook you from start to finish.
These are two people who just share a life changing event- a hook up in Vegas and then walk away. They regret walking away because they dream about one another for months. Angel and Mac aka Devin’s romance is one that is a roller coaster romance that you do NOT want to pass up and one that you don’t want to stop reading.

The weak chemistry between Mac and Angel made for an unconvincing Insta love. Mac’s story was heavy and depressing and seemed conscripted for pity, not a good look for a hero. Conversely, Angel was a cool heroine. She was strong, independent, confident.

This story will hook you from the beginning. There is mystery, a sexy hero, romance and a great heroine. Mac had a rough childhood and he escaped at a very young age. He stays away from his family but occasionally speaks with his mother. The things he went through as a child formed who he is today. He own a hotel/casino in Vegas and performs as a illusionist. He is a loner with the exception of his two best friends and business partners. . Although they both were from wealthy families, Angel had a complete opposite upbringing. Her parents adored her and spoiled her. They taught her not to take things for granted. She works as a teacher underprivileged children. When they meet she is having a last celebration with her best friend before heading to Mexico for 2 years. Mac saves her from an unwanted suitor. Things get hot and heavy pretty fast but miscommunication and self doubt causes a brief separation. The story is full of hot sexy times, a few twists and turns and a lot of good writing.
Mac is a little bit of a jerk at times but Angel holds him accountable. She makes him face his demons and try to be a better person.

Absolutely love this book. Once I started reading I couldn't stop. Mac & Angel, I couldn't get enough of and I loved every minute that they were together. Mac & Angel hooking up in Vegas was only suppose to be a one night stand but Angel & Mac can't seem to forget about each other. But Angel has to leave for a teaching job and Mac can't seem to shake his past. When Angel tries to reach out to Mac, will they reunite it will it just be a memory the time they spent together? Really enjoyed this story and love the characters. Once you start reading you won't want to put your kindle down.

Omg, Ruin Me was so good that I sat down to read it and read till the very end. The story just captivated me from the very start. Mac had a dark family past. His closed his heart off to almost everyone. That was until he met Angel. Like her name she was truly an angel there to save him from his dark past. Together they try to make a go of things. But when faced with an unplanned pregnancy will he stick around or will his past haunt him into running away?
Authors, Bella Love-Wins and Shiloh Walker and incredible writers. Well deserving of more then just five stars.

I don't even know where to begin. I am on the fence with this book it had potential to be a great story but something was missing for me...

This book just wasn't for me. It was too slow and didn't really have much of a story line. At 54%, other than a one night stand leading to a pregnancy, nothing had really happened. Well other than a copious amount of sex scenes and Sly being an unpleasant a$$hole.
I also didn't believe that when Angel returned to Las Vegas to see Mac neither of them talked about the future. Hello - you're having a child together it sort of means you HAVE to have those chats. I could understand Mac avoiding them but I've been pregnant and those hormones mean that Angel wouldn't have been able to just happily 'go with the flow' on it.
Technically the book is good. The writing flows well, conversation is natural, descriptions are good and the story telling is fine. However I struggled to find any real plot and as a result didn't connect with the characters.
This is an easy to read and steamy story that I'm sure many will enjoy, particularly if you're a fan of these authors.

Needs to be Edited!
I don’t know if this book was edited, but if it wasn’t...it needs to be! There is an error in the opening sentence! The story was alright...but was a little confusing at times due to the lack of editing!
When she gets back to Vegas..were they in her room or his?!? It kept switching back and forth! Ugh!

Meh. This read like a character sketch with not much plot. He's an emotionally damaged person with the emotional instincts of a teenager. She's too good to be true. Lots of sex where conversation needed to happen.

It's possible that I read this book at a bad time - I just thought there was a lot of drama that didn't really lead up to anything, or just mAde the story drag.
However, I haven't given up on the series, so I hope I'll like the rest of it.

OMG this book was absolutely amazing,
Mac cannot help but step in and help the gorgeous girl at the hotel/casino
bar when the man giving her unwanted attention wont take no for an answer.
Angel and her best friend are in Vegas for a final week together before
she goes to Mexico to teach.
Angel comes from a very influential family, yes they are very rich but her
parents instilled a generous heart in her from a very young age. To give to
others that are less fortunate.
Mac also comes from a very influential family but he has absolutely nothing
to do with them due to a horrible history. (which we do find out later in the book why)
Mac and Angel have a HOT HOT one night together.
3 months later Mac finds out that Angel has been trying to get in touch with him
His 2 best friends and his PA kept the letters from her away from him. Why did she
want to contact him, well she is pregnant. When they finally speak again Angel offers
to come to him during her time off from school over the Christmas break.
WOW WOW WOW their time together is HOT, and when Angel asks him if he would
come home to Canada with her for Christmas to meet her parents he goes. (This part had
me laughing hard due to some of Mac's thoughts on the cold) it also had my heart melting
over the gifts.
Mac has so many walls up he cannot open his mind to what his heart is telling him about
Angel. That he loves her. But Angel being who she is has no problem telling him she loves him
but that she just cannot see them together. Yes he will be able to see their child but that is all
Will they ever make things work out. Will Mac ever let down his walls, YOU HAVE to read this
book to find out. I absolutely cannot wait to read more from Bella and Shiloh they write together
so amazingly!

After reading the prequel, Unbreak Me, I knew I had to read this right after and I wasn't disappointed, in fact the title ruin me actually ruined me. The story of Mac, a magician and the teacher, Angel, who come together for a one night stand while she was in Vegas and then leaves w/o another word after. Both can't stop thinking about the other and when she reaches out to Mac and he finally responds, the news she has is exciting yet terrifying for a man who keeps everyone at arms lengths.
An amazing roller coaster of a ride with tragedy, hope, love, trust and finding that one person you can bear your soul to and not turn you away. These two authors know how to write a story that will grip your heart and develop characters that you can't help but fall in love with. Mac is a closed off man, not showing his emotions, blaming himself for tragedies he couldn't have prevented but I loved how Angel brings him out of his comfort zone and makes him fight for what he wants. Angel is definitely that an angel, she's kind, compassionate, strong and calls out Mac when he needs a shake up. I had so many tears when he visits her the first time in Mexico, how she handled him and stood up for herself.
The sparks, chemistry, emotions, jump off the pages, making you feel all the hurt, blame, terror and intense attraction he feels for Angel & Angel her determination, her confidence and her feelings for Mac....WOW WOW WOW....this book ruined me in the best way possible.

Mac has always been a loner, even to the point where most women don’t interest him. But when he sees Angel, that all changes. And what was supposed to be a one-night stand turns out to be so much more.
I loved Angel and Mac. Angel was perfect, but I still found her to be so down-to-earth and personable. Mac is the big, quiet, sexy hero that you want to just jump, but he has some issues that cause him to act like a dick at times. And together, woah... they can hardly keep their hands to themselves.
The plot revolves mostly around the question of Mac and Angel being so far apart, yet still wanting to be together despite barely knowing each other. Great read! I loved this book and hated to put it down to work, sleep, eat, do life, or for it to end. It was such a great read and the story of Mac and Angel was a beautiful story.
Mac, a scarred man, who comes from a wealthy family, and keeps everyone at a distance because if anyone gets too close they will just leave him. He had a terrible childhood, and he doesn’t know how to let anyone love him now, nor does he know how to love anymore. He finds his way back to life when he meets Angel and spends one very hot night with her, which ends with a life time of love from a woman who doesn’t take any shit from him.
Angel, a young woman who comes from a wealthy family, lives near Niagara Fall, Ontario. Visiting Las Vegas before moving to Mexico to work for two years, she meets Mac in the bar of the hotel she is staying in, which also happens to be the hotel that Mac and his two partners owns. He saves her from a persistent man who can’t take the hint that she is not interested in him.
This is the first Vegas Nights book that I’ve read, but I will go back and read the first one to get all of LeVan’s story.

Some of these backstories are fully explained, but one important story was left out. The book needed to delve into Mac’s education in the magic craft. This profession is so unusual that a chapter on it would have only added to the story. There weren’t even any scenes describing a typical magic show that Mac and his 2 friends put on to show his success in his field.

To get the most enjoyment of this story, you should read Unbreak Me first….it is a free prequel which gives a bit of back story on Mac and Angel.
So, Mac meets Angel in a hotel bar in Las Vegas. They end up in bed together, but don’t exchange names. They go their separate ways, but things aren’t that easy. Neither is able to walk away from each other, but with her in Mexico and him in Las Vegas will they connect again? Turns out that Mac isn’t just any employee of the hotel, he is one of the owners of the hotel and with 2 others, they headline the main show at the hotel. Angel totally misses the connection of who Mac really is.
I adored this story. Typically, I enjoy darker reads, but this had enough mystery to keep me on the edge of my seat. We know that something in Mac’s past prevents him from admitting his feelings, but it isn’t till the very end that it gets fully explained. I loved Mac and Angel and can’t wait to get the story of Mac’s friends.

Whatever you do go out and order this book now is available on all platforms so no excuses. Lol
Angel is in Vegas to gamble and see the shows. As they say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. She is harassed by a man at the bar. And is saved by a sexy dark stranger who says that his name is Mac. The chemistry is there for the very beginning. Angel normally does not do the one night stand thing. But she does with Mac. One night turns into them being consumed with each other.
Mac is so closed off and he has a reason to be after we find out about his childhood. He is a magician, a liar and can read anyone. He knows that Angel is a good girl, but she has to leave for Mexico soon for a teaching job. They do not exchange names or numbers. Once in Mexico Angel gets a little surprise from her time in Vegas with Mac.
What is the surprise you may ask. I won't tell you need to read this story to find out and be immediately consumed in it like I was. Welcome to the Vegas Knights series from Author Bella Love Wins and Shiloh Walker.
Ruin Me is a great story from beginning to end. The characters are great on their own but oh so much better together. We have Mac who is the broody stay away from everyone kind of guy, his friends and partners Sly and LeVan owning and operating a hotel in Vegas and also do magic/illusion shows.
Along comes care free, happy go lucky Angel and runs into Mac and one thing leads to another anf they share a hot one night fling!!! That is what she wanted that is why she went to Vegas, problem is brooding Mac caught her off guard just like she did to him.
This story is full of surprises, a fast fun read, it is at times emotional as we hear the main characters past history, but if you are looking for a grwat story with great character then Ruin Me is the one to grab!! Each and every character in the book came and played a role and I do look forward to LeVan's and Sly's stories!

This story is hot and sexy! The story held my attention and was exciting, but also was heartwarming and emotional. I enjoyed reading this story because it was full of emotional angst, scorching love scenes, a compelling storyline, and this fantastic book was well written by Bella Love-Wins and Shiloh Walker. I was enthralled with the characters of Angel and Mac. Mac is so freaking SEXY and HOT!! And adorable in the hottest way! You get a chance to see the progression of Angel and Mac’s love—theirs was not a quick and easy love story because they had to overcome some issues, but loves does prevail. From the very first page, I was spellbound by these fantastically described characters that you will find yourself falling in love with. The sizzling chemistry between Angel and Mac is off-the-chart hot!! The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

After one incredible night together, Mac and Angel go their separate ways. Mac wasn't able to get over her, but his messed up childhood left him unable to give or receive love or trust in a normal relationship so he reluctantly accepts that he'll never see her again. Until a couple months later when Angel has news for Mac.
To call this a whirlwind romance would be a vast understatement. They fall in love practically in a matter of minutes, but the truth of their lives - along with the insecurities and fears - keeps them from sitting down and sorting out the details of what to do now.
Mac is truly a damaged soul, and his journey through all that pain is poignant and heartbreaking. Angel is his perfect match, calling him out on his insufferable attitude while having enough patience to stand by him while he sorts out his feelings.
This is a beautifully-written story, full of steamy moments yet also focused on the long-term romance necessary to sustain them. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

When this book came up through the Hidden Gems, though this is a new author to me, I volunteered to read an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Couple that with the witty detailedness of this unique creative storyline and you have one helluva a book I could have gone on reading for days! I am a huge fan of Bella Love- Wins work, this is my first read by Shiloh Walker- together the duo have created a masterpiece of words that engaged all senses and kept me wanting more!
I am looking forward to reading more about LeVan and Sly!
