Over the years, she has written in several different media and genres, from comic books and novels to video game scripts and short essays. She is currently working on an original graphic novel for Berger Books.
Devin lives in Northern California with her husband, step-son, devoted Early Alert Canines Diabetic Alert Dog, and somewhat less devoted cat. Openly bisexual, she is a passionate advocate for the GLBTQ community, as well as being a committed environmentalist, and a public speaker for T1 Diabetes awareness and Diabetic Alert Dogs. She is always happy to take on a new challenge, especially if it involves making some new fictional friends.

I’m loving this series and wish it had been a longer series. The combination of art and writing is a blast!
So Arsenal decides to accept Vandals bargain and goes about shooting around the cops but in such a way as to make them think they are under attack by much greater numbers.
But when he finds himself sneaking up on a cop and about to shoot with both guns he has a change of heart and realizes this is not what he should be doing.
Not to self. Next time you decide to change your moral alignment — don’t do it in the middle of a firefight.
He then spends his effort in booby trapping the lab to explode. Especially after finding a daughter of Vandal who is sabotaging Vandals’ efforts to poison those with children. As he poisoned and killed her son.
She says she can cure Lian without this lab functioning. So Arsenal rigs the lab to blow up while trying to get the cops in here to get out.
Vandal shows up and tries to kill Arsenal but he manages to get Vandal to run toward the explosion that he has set up.
In the epilogue Arsenal is taken before his Indian brothers who raised him and given a new name.
I’m sad to see this series ended. If they continued it somewhere else I’m not aware of it, but it really makes Arsenal his own character in the same way Nightwing outgrew and surpassed his history as Robin.
I’ll definitely keep this series. I doubt it was ever collected. 5 stars.

This final issue was definitely the weakest, but that is because the conflict of this story was never the most interesting part. Though I really like Savage, getting to know Roy and seeing him meaningfully engage with Connor and especially Dinah was the best part. Along with seeing his struggle in being a dad and trying his best with Lian. Who is SO CUTE. Anyways, I learned a lot about Roy and respect him so much as a character thanks to this run. I also really enjoyed the art and colors.
