When I started this I didn't realise it was actually book 2 so that's my fault.
Now I think this is another case of it's me not the book because this has some fabulous reviews but I found it boring.
Obviously I expected a lot of sex and I don't mind this as long as there's balance, enough story to hold the sex together and here the balance was off, well for me anyway.
I'd say this is about 80% sex or it certainly felt like it and while there's a little story there's not much.

Plot twist in this installment: There is more than one witch character.
Full warning: I'm writing this after having a couple glasses of wine ;) I'm not wanting to take these reviews too seriously. My #Returnthewitch reviews will focus mainly on the witches in this series and how they connect to the plot/MMCs. I'm not going to rehash the context of #Returnthewitch each time. If you're interested in the context of #Returnthewitch, check out the spoiler tag at the end of my review for book 1 to this series...And I am determined to read all the books in this series.
***Spoilers regarding the witch and how she connects to the plot and MMCs***
So, what we have here is a world where there are normal werewolves, but also berserker werewolves. The difference is berserker werewolves are born 'of a witch' and contain dark magic. This dark magic allows them to shift into this ferocious man/beast monster form and they're incredibly deadly. The downside to this dark magic is that the beast can take over and these berserker wolves can go completely mad. When this madness takes over, a killing rampage will ensue that ends in theirs and everyone's death.
Yseult seems to be the main witch character, and my guess is that she is the wanted witch. She told both MMCs that if they found a woman who wore the 'mark of the wolf' she would be able to calm the beast.
A question I have is does the other author in question want just one witch character returned? If so is that Yseult? Or all the witches in the series? I'm legitimately curious.
So anyway, Daegan and Samuel think Brenna is the woman who soothes their beast, and that all is good and well when this book starts.
Yseult appears in this book again and takes on the archetype of the trickster. She seemingly gives them advice, but leaves them more confused and at risk of real danger. Both Daegan and Samuel learn if they don't bond to the one who is truly intended as their mate, they will both go mad and on killing rampages.
Here is where I agree with the top two star review. It was clear they just needed to mate with Brenna, and this was an obvious plot device used to drive conflict/angst/tension in the story. There is alotta sex in this book, and I actually found the sex hot, which is the main reason I'm upping this from 3 stars to 4. If you're not into the sex, it may be more difficult to get through this book. Also, the writing style was an improvement. There was good flow; I was never taken out of the story. I appreciated this book was entirely from Daegan's POV. This is refreshing considering the prevalence of dual POVs. I've already started book 3 and I'm very much into Maddox's story, which is a pleasant surprise. I was more than willing to push through this series, just paying attention to the witch character, and not rating these books if they weren't for me. So, it's been nice to actually get some reading enjoyment out of them.

So yeah, I was pleasantly surprised with this installment. If you're into MfM and shifters, this is worth checking out and an improvement from book 1.

This was a Reread and I read the collection of 4 (I think) novellas. I only read about two of the four sister as it started to feel a little repeating. But still enjoyed the story but not a favorite of mine.

Love and Punishment
Another great installment to the series. There's intrigue, shifting, fighting, rule breaking, punishments, love, tenderness, and spying to name just some of the things in here. I look forward to hearing where this goes next. 💚♨
I LOVE Robert Ross' accent, I just wish there was a second narrator to split Daegan and Samuel. I know. I'm being greedy but two men with that accent would really melt me. 😉💚

I will eventually finish this, although right now it is simply on hold for other books.
There are more in the series, and I am genuinely interested in the whole witch plot. Is she trustworthy or up to something? When will the guys trust that their current girl is the ONE?
But I have issues with so many other things. There are consent issues in this series. Yes, the MC finds everything a turn on. HOWEVER, just because something is a turn on does not give other people the right to do whatever they want! She is constantly being "punished" for stupid reasons, and it doesn't matter that she always ends up liking it afterwards. The fact is, the consent is not there. Especially when

I thought it was a good story, although I think it could have been better. They did the same things over and over. I thought it could have been more detailed. Like why she could calm the beast, why was only two of the pack able to turn from beast? Like I said I enjoyed the book, I just like to come away from a book with the least amount of questions possible. I actually have more questions than two, I was just showing what I meant.

I didn't particularly enjoy this book. The story was lacking in substance, and it didn't seem to progress much. If you're someone who prefers books with action scenes, such as threesomes and light BDSM, and don't really care about the plot, then this book might suit you. However, if you're looking for a more meaningful and engaging story, then I suggest you look elsewhere.

In this book Samuel and Deagan are noit wanting to show Breanne this beast they have inside scared she will leave them or they will hurt her. She challenges one if the pack gets publish punishment for it. The witch that tells them she is their mate comes to visit. There are some twists and turns but it all works out.

Soooo...I was not impressed AT ALL 😒
It had nothing to do with the authors writing style, but a matter of preference and I would have preferred NOT to have read this book.
I’m not a fan of humiliation and subjugation disguised as love and devotion.
I am aware that everyone has a different thresholds, but I felt like this book wasn’t about about pleasing each other but objectification disguised as adoration.
I do not come to this conclusion lightly as I read the first book and felt the love between Brenna, the Alpha and his Beta and felt like this book did an about face (the third installment was in the same vein as the second) and not in a good way.
I read the next book in the installment because of a nugget at the end of this book, where some introspection was done by the Beta and had thought that in the third book that Brenna would be treated more like a person that a receptacle...boy was I wrong 😫.
I’m not sure I will be reading anymore books from this author 😕.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Strong characters and a great story line. I so couldn't put it down once I started reading it. I just love this series and can't wait to read more and more of Lee's work too. This continues Samuel, Daegan, and Brenna's story. You will so want to see what happen now that Brenna is finding her way around the pack and what her role is. Samuel and Daegan have their own issues too that need working through.

The books veers a little left of the first, presenting the entire tale through a first person POV of one of the guys, instead of the FMC. Interesting take, and well done. It was sweet and steamy, adding layers to their story and asking the right questions.
Pros:
- Unique POV writing for the entire book
- Character growth
- Red hot
Cons:
- Characters can be a bit oblivious.
- Have to signup for newsletter to read the ultimate conclusion to their saga.
- Short

A sweet continuation of the previous book. The change of POV didn't work well for me though I found being in Daegan's head funny. There was a subplot that didn't sit well with me and at the end I was a bit torn on whether Samuel and Deagan did the right thing by . However, I think exploring what happened to him and his pack would do great for a continuation of the series.

This was an interesting book. I like the premise of the story line but I wish that we could have dived in further on how the Berserkers were created or the omen/prophesy/vision about true mates. Other than that, I really enjoyed this book. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Oh my goodness, If you haven't read sold to the Berserkkers you really should before you read this one it is just as outstanding and it will give you more detail about Brenna and what her life was like at home with her sisters, Sabine and the twins Muriel and Fleur. In this book Samuel and Daegan even though they have claimed Brenna by having her wear a certain necklace that made her theirs for all to see they have not bitten with the mating bond for fear that she is not their true mate and it would kill her. By killing her Samuel would be lost to them and soon Daegan would follow to the Berserkker madness. Even though their love for one another grows and soon they find a way to communicate with Brenna through sign language. But trouble brews all around them. Even in their own pack there is one that is a bully and is constantly trying to bully Brenna into fighting him so that she would get punished for not following the pact laws. The Red Wolf pack wants their help to get rid of an invading new berserkker clan one that Samuel was once a part of Ragnvald. Ragnvald had heard that Samuel and Daegan had a woman with the magic to calm the beast within and want to to claim her. How were they going to protect her had keep Samuel from changing into the beast. They feared that once he changed he would be lost to all. They were set up and the enemies trap was sprog will Samuel change into the beast and if he does is he lost forever. During all of the fighting will Brenna get hurt or worse yet killed or will the magic within prevail. Man, this is one book that just cannot be put down once you pick it up. Yes, it has some really sex, steamy parts in there but it has a fantastic story to tell as well. Can't wait to read the next one.

Pack life gets bumpy for Brenna and her Berserkers
I think this sexy novella might even be better than the first one. Brenna her two Berserkers have bonded and truly love each other, but there is concern that, as a human, she might not be able to handle their savage, inner beasts when they eventually surface.
I love the way that pack protocol is explored--and how it leads to some very naughty, steamy scenes. Brenna’s experiences as a human do not prepare her for just how different pack life is, but she has to learn.
Looking someone in the eye and standing up for yourself is natural for humans and usually helpful, but things like that can create dangerous situations among wolves. Human habits are hard to break, but her mates find some creative ways to help her learn.
I’m really happy the author is keeping this world alive and has followed up with many more books about it.

Book two finds Breena falling in love with her berserker's, being introduced to the pack and in danger of being kidnapped or destroyed if Samuel loses control of his beast. Samuel and Daegen desperately try to find a way to save Breena from themselves and another pack and she ends up being the one to save them. Super hot and steamy romance with two very strong alpha males and the beautiful woman they underestimate.

We're back in ancient Scotland with Daegan, Samuel, and Brenna. This picks up pretty close after the last book ended. We get more of their story and find out if she really is their true mate or not.
Lovely story and lots of great sex. I love the chemistry between the 3 of them, and the Berserkers are all so awesome.

Being punished naked in public. No thank you. Being forced to wear a butt plug. Having two men come very strongly on to you after your stepfather raped you multiple times. . Dnf. From what the other reviews say about the next book- it is also abusive. I will not be continuing the series or the author.

4 1/2 Stars! Hot ending to Brenna, Samuel, & Daegan's story!
I have fallen completely in lust with the Berserkers, despite them being violent men struggling to control their inner beast. Do not read this review until after you have read the first in the series (Sold To The Berserkers), or there will be spoilers.
Also this book contains what could be triggers for some, including adult language, detailed intimate encounters with multiple partners, bondage, spankings, violence of various sources, etc. If any of these are triggers for you, then this is not the book or series for you.
In the first part of Brenna, Samuel, and Daegan's story, Brenna was sold to the two alphas by her stepfather. The alphas had searched hundreds of years for her and made the bargain with her stepfather as she matched the description of the woman the witch told them could help control their inner beast (berserker). This is especially critical for the alphas of the pack, since they help keep the pack under control from the strongest to the weakest. They are also responsible for taking care of anyone that loses control of their beast, since the only thing that can stop a berserker is another berserker.
Brenna fought becoming their mate as she needed to escape and protect her sisters from her stepfather, but she was having trouble trusting, no matter how much she desires them. It may be easier if they could communicate, but it becomes easier after they hired someone to teach all of them some sign language. If she would just fully accept them as her mates it would be even easier to communicate through their mating bond.
Samuel and Daegan took care of her stepfather, and agreed that if she became their mate, her family would be provided for with fresh meat and other provisions monthly. Unfortunately since the wolf attacked her when she was younger, she has been afraid of them, dogs, or anything else resembling canines. While she needs them physically, she is still finding it hard to trust. They have discovered that she does soothe their inner beast, but if they can't find a way to bond fully, will it be enough to save Samuel and Daegan?

Brenna and her lovers are taking care of each other. They love making love to her together treating her so good. Even though Brenna knew that her lovers were wolves in a human body. They were really worried that if Brenna saw the real beast inside that she would run. Brenna breaks a rule to not go outside the cave and when she did not know the rules of the pack. She was being taught what the rules were with the pack. Brenna didn't know that she could have been attacked until one of the pack protected her.
They were really worried about her especially if she were to leave them. In the middle of sex the witch that told them of Brenna shows up. She tells Daegan that wolves and humans could not mate and they couldn't be together for the long haul. The beast in the Beserkers was a magical influence and they both didn't know if Brenna would survive the beast. A lone wolf was found on their land and they have him in the pit Samuel comes to find out he is another beserker. He tell Samuel that hey have a witch who cast the stones and it was told that he would find the women here. One of the warrior Siebold caught Brenna off guard while she was with Daegan and she looked him in the eye.
Siebold wanted her punished in front of the pack.
Samuel brought Brenna outside to where the pack had been waiting. Siebold made comments about Breena's sister and Brenna let loose. Brenna picks up a piece of wood and throws it and also the hot water at Siebold. He immediately goes into wolf form and they get a grip on him? Daegan will be punishing her in front of the rest of the pack so they can see that justice has been served. They had been keeping them as theirs and do with her what they pleased with her because she is their mate. There were many who wanted our mate but that was never going to happen. Our beast burst forth and she stayed with us.
We still worried to see if she stays or goes back to her sisters.
